Violent deeds to violent crime,
The world will never hit the right chime,
Human nature never meant to rhyme,
Though we will strive for the time.

Gender, race, inequality-
Sad to exist in modern society.
Where's the love if love is wrong,
When it's protested in throngs?
In the name of religion, name of God,
We were forever doomed to be flawed.

Beauty sleeps where there's no peace,
Dreaming of the Golden Fleece,
Kindness seeking eyes that see-
Beyond self-righteous seas.

We can bleed with our hearts,
Though we be worlds apart,
Battling wars with no starts,
Human nature: a working art.
