Song from the deep
Drowning in the labyrinth seas,
Caught in the rooted weeds,
My lips are waiting to kiss thee,
In midnight's eternal rein,
Where the mermaid breathes.
Bubbles dance, wavering to be free,
Burst in a sway, by rolling waves,
Shipwrecked in a darken cave,
Anyone to hear my plea?
Do the stars shine tonight,
Can you see your guiding light,
Across currents rippling with treasure,
Enrich I wish to give you more pleasure,
Will you not forsake me?
The skies open in throes,
Turbulent waves arose,
Gods clash with strident might,
Swords creating streams of light,
Many turn sails in horror,
Hoping to still breathe come morrow.
Come down, so deep to me,
In briny depths, I wait for thee,
Caught in the rooted weeds,
Upon my sweetened breath to feed,
Deep down where the mermaids rein,
My caress will still your pain.
As the fog comes rolling in,
A soft sweet balm to kiss my skin,
Below the oceans deep and wide,
Come to my lair,
Where we might hide.
