Endless
Trees bleed in the cracks,
Through fortitude of solid black,
The sun won't take it back-
Where it would never last,
As rivers run from the flow,
With nowhere to go,
They're swallowed whole,
In the eye's gaping hole,
Paying the unquenchable toll,
To the heartless troll,
As written in scrolls,
Always on a stroll,
Hunting stone and bone,
In hunger it moans,
For an endless soul.
