Thomas's (POV)

"What do you mean you and (Y/N) feel each other's pain?" Minho asked me.

"I'm not sure how if I had to guess I would guess Wicked did something to us before the maze." I said.

"But I don't think she remembers that we can feel each other's pain." I told Minho.

"Good. Let's try and keep it that way." He said. I shook my head agreeing with him.

We walked through the building not finding anything useful.. deciding to turn around and head back to the group.

When we got back (Y/N) ran up to me "Tommy Newt helped me find a jacket just like yours. He said we were going on an adventure to find some mountain people." I laughed because she thinks we are on an adventure but I guess we are in a way..

"Yes Snowflake. We are going on a long adventure. Did you get a bag packed as well?" I asked her.

(Y/N) looks at me and says " Yes I even found Asher a new collar. I have food, clothes, a flashlight, and.... She stops talking a sudden look of panic on her face and in her voice.. "What is it Snowflake? What's wrong?" I ask her. "Sammy my teddy.. I left him in the glade."

I watch as she starts to run toward the door of the building Mitch grabs her "Where are you going?" He asks her in a calm voice..

(Y/N) is kicking in his grip yelling"LET ME GO! I HAVE TO GO BACK! I HAVE TO GET SAMMY!" My heart breaks because I know there's NO going back to the glade.

Before I even walk over to (Y/N) Newt is right in front of her. He let's Mitch know it's ok to let her go. I see her run right into Newt then she turns and runs right into me crying.. I pick her up and hold her close.

I then look at Newt and notice he's holding something behind his back..

I look at (Y/N) and tell her "I know it's sad that you forgot Sammy in the glade but I think someone in this group was watching out for you."

She looks at me and says "Who?"

"Turn around." I tell her.

She turns around and sees Newt standing there holding Sammy..

(Y/N) freaks out asking questions "How did you get him? I thought he was still in the glade?"

Newt looks at her and tells us "Well before we left the glade Tommy mentioned that you would  need Sammy. So I checked his hammock Sammy wasn't there and then I checked the treehouse and that's where I found Sammy. I kept Sammy with me in our dorm not knowing what those bloody wicked people would do."

(Y/N) hugged Newt again. "Thank you Newt. You kept Sammy safe..

"No problem little greenbean." Newt replied.

The gladers spent the night in the abandoned building not realizing that a mysterious figure was watching them.
