Thomas's (POV)

After seeing (y/n) is getting the "magic" as she calls it that will help make her better..
I get up and leave the room..

I run into Gally who looks at me and asks "How's the little Greenie doing?"

I look at him and respond "She's doing a little better.. No idea why she keeps getting these mystery fevers." I tell him..

A voice suddenly chimes in "Could it be something Wicked did to her before she came up in the maze?
Or some sort of mysterious sickness?"

I then notice Silver standing just behind Gally.

"What do you mean?" I ask her..

She looks at me then at Gally and he nods understanding that she wants to talk to me alone..

Gally looks at us and says "I'm going to go check on dinner make sure they know to make an extra plate for (y/n) and Thomas." Then he leaves us alone..

As soon as Gally is gone I look at Silver again..

"Do you mean (y/n) could be sick with a mysterious sickness or the reason she's sick is because it's something wicked did to her before she was sent to the maze?" I ask her still confused..

Silver looks at me and says "Thomas there's something you should know about y/n's condition.. why she's been having constant fevers?..

I look at her and say "What's the reason?"

She looks at me and says "Thomas Wicked made her sick."

How did Wicked make her sick? I think to myself.
"What is (y/n) sick with? " I ask her..

She looks at me.. and the next words out of Silver's mouth make my heart drop..

"Thomas there's NO CURE for what (y/n) has."

"What does she SHUCKING have?" I ask panic filling my chest..

"Does she have the flare but a different strain of the virus?"

Silver looks at me and says "No. Thomas (y/n) has HYDROCEPHALUS."

Silver looks at me and says "I'm so sorry Thomas.. I'm here if you need anything."
I look at her and say "I could use a friend at dinner other than Gally."  I tell her.

Silver looks at me and smiles "Thomas is this your way of asking me out?" She asks..

"I guess it is." I tell her..

Silver smiles again and I find myself blushing her smile is pretty.. wait what am I thinking.. asking out the girl that's taking care of (y/n).. plus  I just meant her.. and I'm watching (y/n) fighting this fever and hydrocephalus which has
NO SHUCKING CURE!!

I check on (y/n) she's sleeping..  I decide to go with Silver and get something to eat..

We walk into the dining hall and Gally approaches us then says "Little Greenie isn't joining us?"

I look at him with a glare.. Silver responds noticing the slight tension.."No Gally (y/n) isn't joining us for dinner she's still sleeping."

Gally looks at her and just shakes his head.. he finishes his meal and leaves Silver and I alone..

I'm brought out of my thoughts when Silver starting the conversation "Thomas what's that on your wrist?"

I look down at the white flower bracelet that (y/n) made me when we were back in the glade.. I smile..

"It's something (y/n) made for me when we were back in the maze she said it would protect me from the grievers or as she called them monsters and from the bad people." I tell her..

"Bad People?" She asks me..

"Wicked. That's what she calls them bad people." I tell her..

Silver laughs then looks at me and says "(y/n)  certainly has a way with words to describe people and things? Doesn't she."

"Yeah she does." I tell her.

After dinner:

"Come on." I tell her as  I take Silver's hand "Thomas where are taking me?" she asks. "You will see."
I tell her as I drag her through the small corridor.. we go left, then right, another left, then another right stopping at a giant field Silver looks at me shocked..

"A field of flowers? How did you find this?" She asks me..

"Gally mentioned that he stumbled upon it shortly after he arrived here and he said when (Y/N) wakes up we should bring her here." I tell her..

Silver smiles and replies "Oh Thomas Yes (y/n) would love  this place she can make so many flower bracelets."

"Come on we should get back the group is probably wondering where we are?" I tell her..

Silver walks up to me and I'm shocked at  what happens next she looks at everything and says "Thomas it's so beautiful here. I hope we find beauty like this in the safe haven." I look down at her and something comes over me I pull her into me and kiss her..

Author's Note: Hydrocephalus is condition that I live with.. it causes migraines, fevers, dizziness, and a few other symptoms..
