Narrator's (POV)

None of this made any SHUCKING sense.. One minute this girl who looks like Thomas's first fling attacks him and the next she's offering to help him save (Y/N'S) life..

"Yeah not a bit of SHUCKING sense none of it.. and who was the boy with Sapphire that looked an awful lot like a younger version of himself.."

"Could the boy have been.." but before Thomas could finish his thought (Y/N) stirred in her sleep..

                  Y/N'S (POV)

I woke up feeling hot panic set in.. I looked around and saw I was in a cave.. then I saw Tommy..

"Tommy where are we? What happened? I think my fever is back and it's WORSE!"

Panic set in Thomas's stomach as he rushed over to (y/n's) side he took his hand to feel her forehead and she was burning up WORSE than she had in the past..

Was this it? Was he actually going to lose his LITTLE LIGHT?

NO.. Not if he could help her.. he could still Protect her!!

Thomas got up and grabbed a cloth from his bag and added water then laid it on her forehead..

He then checked his bag and saw he had medical tape. Thomas ripped off a piece of medical tape after making the cloth wet again and wrapped the medical tape around (y/n's) head to keep the cloth in place..

He then went over and quietly packed his and (y/n's) stuff from what little clothes, to the turquoise vial of the ultimate cure he put that in a safe place in the backpack..

Now he was ready to carefully pick up (Y/N) and carry her back to the camp..

He went over bent down and picked her up bridal style.. she stirred in her sleep.. "Tommy Safe.. Protect Tommy.. Protect Family.."

Hearing her talk in her sleep about protecting him and feeling safe.. made his heart swell with happiness..

Thomas began walking through the woods back the way he came the night before..

It only took him an hour to arrive back at camp.. Hope was the first person to greet him with (Y/N) in his arms..

                   Hope's (POV)

I'm not sure why I was near the woods but for some reason I looked up and what I saw shocked me.. Thomas holding (Y/N) in his arms and she didn't look good..

I rush over.. "Thomas Are you ok?" She asks...

Thomas takes a breath and shakes his head "Yes then replies I'm fine.. But (Y/N'S) fever is back and it's WORSE.."

My mom heart drops as (Y/N) is rushed into the medjack hut..
I look around trying to find another vial of Thomas's magic but I see that we are completely out of Thomas's magic.. Thomas comes in and sees the scared look on my face..

                    Thomas's (POV)

I walk into the medjack hut and see that Hope isn't giving (Y/N) any meds..

I walk over to her and ask "Why haven't you given her anything for the fever?"

Hope looked at me and replied "Thomas I'm sorry we are completely out of the magic for (Y/N)."

I couldn't believe what I was hearing..

"How are you completely out of the Magic? I thought you had a lot of it?" I ask her shocked..

Hope looks at me and explains she thought they had a lot as well but when Charlie came in he somehow found a way to destroy the rest of the remaining vials of (Y/N'S) magic that we had left.."

I run my hands through my hair and my heart almost stops.. I look at Hope and tell her "I'm not losing her.."

I put my hand in my pocket and I feel two vials in my pocket no it can't be..

I pull out two vials of Turquoise liquid and show it to Hope..

"Thomas what is this?" She asks me..

"Just trust me.. give her one vial now I'll get more." I tell her..

Before I leave the room I walk over and give (y/n's) hand a squeeze.. "Hang in there Snowflake!" I tell her and I see her stire like she knows I'm there..

With that I race out of the tent and find Teresa.. She's exactly where I thought in a different medical tent surrounded by a lot of science equipment.. I laugh a little when I walk in the tent..

"Haha.. some things never change.
What are you working on?" I ask..

Teresa almost jumped when she heard my voice.. "Oh Thomas you scared me.. What's up? Do you need something?"

Surprised I walked over to her and pulled out the vial of turquoise liquid and handed it to her.. Teresa looked at the vial then back at me..

"It's called the ultimate cure supposedly it's my blood and some boy named Isaac's blood mixed together.. and it will cure (Y/N) of her fevers for good." I tell her..

I watch as Teresa takes a sample of the liquid and puts it under a microscope..

I get up and leave Teresa and head back toward (Y/N) as I walk I see Hope checking (Y/N'S) vitals..

"How is she doing?" I ask..

Hope looks at me and responds "She seems to be good.. her fever has finally broke an hour ago.. whatever you did with that cloth seemed to help with keeping her fever down..

I smile happy that (Y/N'S) fever finally broke..

I look again at Hope and ask "She's going to be ok?"

"Yes Thomas she's going to be ok."

After hearing that it hits me how exhausted I am.. I collapse onto the bed next to (Y/N'S) I look over at her sleeping figure and smile..

"I'll always protect you Snowflake.
My LITTLE LIGHT!"
