"Do I have to attend?" Mina looked in the mirror as she reluctantly fixed a few restless curls back in place. "Honey," Taehyung hugged her from behind. "You're my fiancée, of course you have to be by my side." he kissed her gently on the neck. "I promise we won't stay very long." he smiled at her in the mirror and she frowned. "But it will be full of people!" her restless gaze caught his. "That's right, but we can't hide forever, can we?" he turned her to face him. "Princess, people are curious to know who the woman who separated me from monastic life is." he winked at her. "And I want to show off with the most beautiful woman in the world!" he pressed her gently, "You'll be fine, just look how far we've come." she bit her lip and looked down thoughtfully. "I know, and it's all thanks to you and your patience, but that's ..." he interrupted. "We treat each other, Princess." he stepped back with his hands on her shoulders and looked at her. "Besides, you look stunning, and I like people to envy me!" she shook her head, smiling at his arrogant expression. "But they will ask us questions!" she continued. "And we have the answers, so what. If someone is too insistent, leave it to me." she nodded slightly and he kissed her on the forehead. Turning to finish her make-up, she watched him in the mirror as he leaned over to pick up the phone and the wallet she had left on the bed.
"Taehyung?" he turned and looked at her. "Since we've been together ..." she stammered, wondering exactly how to form her question. "I mean, we've been together for a few months, but you ..." she avoided his gaze in the mirror. "You ever ..." her redness and insecurity made him smile. "I ever what?" he asked encouragingly, standing behind her again to hug her.
His warm hug and the soft touch of his lips around her neck reassured her, as always, and she looked at him, turning her head. "Have you ever regretted getting involved with a broken person like me?" she asked, sighing and biting her lower lip nervously. "Many times." Taehyung shrugged and pressed her to his chest, placing his chin on her shoulder. Her eyes widened, and she looked down in frustration, "In fact, I'm sorry every day that I've been watching you for months, and I didn't have the courage to approach you." she raised her head abruptly and looked at him questioningly. "Have you been watching me?" he nodded. "That's why I installed the cameras." he grinned. "And, Princess, you are not broken, you just have an overly tender heart." he slid his hands down hers and intertwined their fingers. "And you, have you ever regretted getting involved with a man as jealous, obsessive and harassing you as I am?" he asked with a playful smile. "Never!" she replied with a smile, rubbing her cheek against his.
"I'm glad because I plan to keep harassing you while my hair turns gray and bald!" he grinned and gently sucked on the curve of her neck. She laughed as the tickling sensation sent shivers down her spine.

"Just smile and nod, princess, and it'll be all right." he whispered in her ear as she clung to his hand, looking like a deer, as reporters hugged them, asking thousands of questions that Taehyung answered calmly, as if he did just that every day.
He slowly made his way to the hall, wrapping his arms around her waist as she tried to hide from everyone who pushed to capture the woman who had captured Kim Taehyung, the famous owner of an architectural firm and highly coveted bachelor.
Everyone clearly remembered his divorce from Leah, and they knew he hadn't shown any interest in any woman since. And the news that he was living with his fiancée was on the tabloids. People guessed, speculated, watched their every move, looking for piquancy.
The reporters would twist Taehyung's answers as they wished, and he had warned her about it, but she didn't expect them to attack them like that. She sighed with relief as they managed to enter through the double doors, leaving the noise behind.
"Are you okay?" he took off her coat, handed it to the cloakroom attendant. "It was ..." she looked over her shoulder at the door they had just entered. "I know, a lot of fun." Taehyung rolled his eyes ironically and wrapped her arm around his elbow, leading her in. "You seem to be having fun." she looked at him askance. "It just seems like I'm used to it." he shrugged, directing her to the bar to get drinks for himself and for her.
Taehyung handed her a glass of white wine, her favorite, and leaned against the bar, looking for familiar faces. Several people greeted them, looking at Mina quite openly. Taehyung tried to suppress his jealousy, knowing they were just curious, but he kept her close.
"Tae, Mina!" Namjoon waved at them, approaching them with a wide smile. He hugged and kissed Mina on both cheeks and shook Taehyung's hand, leaning against him. "I heard you're nominated for Company of the Year?" murmured Namjoon, waving at Hoseok, who was also approaching them. "I heard that too, but I don't want to win it." Taehyung nodded, smiling. "And we will not stay until the award ceremony. We are here only out of respect and because we decided it was time to announce our relationship publicly." he looked at Mina, who looked down, blushing.
"Hey, everybody's just talking about Mina." Hoseok grinned, winking at her as she gasped in surprise. "Yes, she hasn't met anyone yet, but she already has a few secret admirers." Namjoon playfully pushed Taehyung, who grimaced in annoyance, and Mina giggled. "To adore her, but from afar!" he snorted, and Namjoon and Hoseok burst out laughing. "Well, at least she'll have options when she's tired of you!" Hoseok snorted at him, bouncing when Taehyung reached menacingly at him.
"Don't annoy him, Hoseok." Mina patted his arm jokingly. "Excuse me." she handed her glass to Taehyung and looked around, searching the toilets. Once she found them, she made her way under Taheyang's watchful eye. "Have you set a date for the wedding?" Namjoon asked, and Taehyung shook his head. "I don't want to press her." he explained. "But you're still going to have a wedding, aren't you?" Hoseok laughed. "I hope before your children are born!" Namjoon continued to joke. Taehyung grinned, imagining Mina pregnant. He could not wait for it to happen, with or without a wedding. "Yes, it will be easier than setting a date for the wedding, and she's already a great mother." Taehyung smirked.
"And not only that. Our gray mouse is starting to shine brighter!" rubbed Namjoon. "Like the cat watching her from afar!" added Hoseok. "Tae, I advise you to take one of the two actions before someone steals her from you!" Namjoon strained blankly, and Taehyung and Hoseok followed his gaze.

Mina shrank back. Her gaze kept wandering pleadingly in the direction of Taehyung. "Come on, at least tell me your name?" the man who refused to let her pass him smiled. He had stopped her from leaving the toilets and refused to leave her alone. "Please ..." she began to panic, feeling her palms begin to sweat, and she squeezed the hem of her dress. "I don't want that much, do I?" the man continued to block her way. "Let me pass ..." Mina gasped, looking for a way out, but every time she took a step to the left or right, he did the same, making it impossible for her to cross. "I just want to get to know each other a little bit." the man grinned, looking at her lustfully.
"Please, I'm engaged!" she looked in Taehyung's direction again and closed her eyes in relief when she saw him approaching, accompanied by Namjoon and Hoseok. "And so what, I'm not jealous!" the man grinned and tried to wrap his arm around her waist, but came across another that had already wrapped around her. "But I'm extremely jealous!" Taehyung hissed. "Are you all right, princess?" he looked down at her as she leaned close to him, sighing heavily.
"Kim Taehyung?" the man gritted his teeth viciously. "Min Jung Hee!" Taehyung nodded indifferently. "I see you met my fiancée?" Taehyung raised an eyebrow as Jung Hee growled and poked his chin. "Yeah, I heard something about that, you got a good piece." Jung Hee muttered enviously, continuing to examine Mina as if ready to eat her. "Yeah, and as you've obviously noticed, she feels uncomfortable when lustful bastards intrude on her attention!" said Taehyung. "Who do you call a bastard?" Jung Hee approached Taehyung and Mina, but Namjoon and Hoseok blocked his way, grinning coldly. Jung Hee narrowed his eyes, cursing under his breath, glared at Taehyung, and turned, his fists clenched. "Are you okay?" Taehyung hugged her gently, and Mina nodded, now calm. "He hates you in the gut too!" Namjoon laughed. "Very annoying bastard!" Hoseok grunted, staring after the man, who was walking away.
