Chapter 09:

Neil was practicing the dance for the competition but he was not able to concentrate he was missing avni if things were right then they must have preparing for their wedding almost everything was selected from shopping to hall booking everything was done but destiny played it's game Neil twirls at one leg but he falls and hurt his knees he was wincing in pain and hold his knee avni came there because neela maa send the lunch for Neil she wanted them together again so avni came there and saw Neil and shocked.

Avni: Nirav.

Avni runs to him and keep the beg on the ground and keep the hand at Neil's chest she was worried for him.

Avni: Nirav what happened are you ok?

Neil: my knee.

Avni: knee what happened?

Neil: it's paining avni there is a spray please get it.

Avni looks here and there and saw Neil's bag on the bench she look at Neil she runs and start finding the spray in his bag she got it and went to him she pull his trousers up and carefully touch his knee.

Avni: here Nirav?

He nods and wincing she apply there and Neil's knee was inching.

Avni: relax it will be fine soon.

Avni cares his hairs and looking at him she forget everything by seeing him after sometime Neil tried to get up avni helps him and took him to the bench Neil walk in one feet and avni was supporting him though it was difficult for her by took him there but she couldn't leave him she make Neil sit he sighs and panting he keep the hand on his knees avni sit with him Neil look at avni.

Avni: are you ok?

Neil nods and sighs he was panting.

Neil: yeah.

Avni: how it happened?

Neil: I was practicing for step and falls.

Avni: where were lost what was you thinking if something major would have happen then. where were your focus?

Neil was looking at her.

Avni: what are you looking answer me?

Neil looks down and gulps.

Neil: I was practicing and was able to concentrate and falls.

Avni: why?

Neil look at her.

Neil: from tomorrow our wedding function will start.

Avni was looking at him she recall everything Neil was looking at her with hurtful eyes.

Neil: Avni I am sorry.

Avni looks down then she looks here and there.

Avni: where is leela?

Neil was looking at her.

Neil: she said she will come late so I start practice.

Avni: ok.

Avni went to pick the bag and Neil was looking at her she came to him and and take out the Tiffin.

Avni: mamma send for you.

Neil take that and says thank you.

Avni nods.

Avni: so Mr Neil.

Neil look at her and her cold behaviour is hurting him.

Avni: how can you practice now your knee is hurt you should take rest.

Neil: no I am fine I can practice.

Avni: how you can't stand properly then how will you practice listen to me take rest today you have time to practice.

Neil was looking at her somewhere in his heart he is happy that still she cares for him he smiles.

Neil: ok.

Neil tried to get up avni help him he look at her but she didn't she felt his gaze but didn't look at him.

Neil in mind: if you care for me this much then why you are not forgiving me?

She took Neil from there soon they reached to Neil's leaving area and she helped Neil to sit.

Avni: dd will come anytime ok I am going I am work.

She turns to go.

Neil: Avni.

Avni stop but didn't turn to him.

Neil: if I lose the competition or will not get selected then?

Avni look at him.

Avni: you have to win you don't have any option.

Neil: I will try my best but if by chance I lose then?

Avni: then you will go back to your family and will apologise to them.

Neil Shocked and anger too.

Neil: but I didn't do anything wrong avni she

Avni: I don't know and I don't want to know what happened or not you have to win the competition or go back to your family.

Neil: and about our relation?

Avni: we don't have any relation yes there was a time when we were engaged, were in a relation a beautiful relation but your lie broke it and now it will never join again even if we want then also there will a crack, the crack of broken trust which will never remove.

Avni's eyes were teary.

Neil: Avni I.

But avni went from there.

Neil: Avni give me a chance to explain avni avni.

Neil close his eyes after one two days Neil was fine he came out from his appartement and Ali was passing by there Neil smiles.

Neil: hey Ali.

Ali stop but ignore him and was going.

Ali: you are also angry with me.

Ali smiles and turns to him.

Ali: are you talking to me sorry I didn't recognise you do you know me?

Neil was hurt.

Neil: Ali why are talking like this I know I did a mistake but please atleast listen to me.

Ali looks away.

Neil: please Ali avni is also angry and she broke up with me atleast you listen to me.

Ali: Nirav no Neil right Neil how can I believe you that whatever you say will be a truth may be it will be your another lie to cover your mistake.

Neil hurts that now no one is believing him that's wise wise people says " to hide one lie you say 100 lies and when you say truth no one will believe you".

They hear a voice.

Person: I trust him.

Ali and Neil look there  and saw neela maa she came to them.

Nm: Ali I trust him.

Ali: but neela maa.

Nm: I know everything Neil told me everything if I would have in his place may be I will do the say.

Ali: you are saying this neela maa.

Nm: yes I am saying this atleast give him a chance to explain I can understand avni's point she is hurt she had some expectations from Neil

Neil looks down.

Neil: they were going to marry so she didn't want any formality or anything hidden thing between them so her reaction is valid but you are his friend you should try to understand his point and try to clear the things between them.

Ali: what's the guarantee he will not lie again.

Nm: I know after knowing the truth it's hard to believe him but this time he is saying truth I even talked to his grandmother she told me the truth listen to him.

Ali think.

Ali: I want to know the truth and hope this time you will not lie.

Neil was looking at him then they were sitting in Neil's living area.

Ali: but why she did that?

Neil: for money she want our property.

Ali think.

Neil: trust me I am saying truth I didn't do anything yes I hided the truth from you but I was afraid of losing everything already i lost my family so I didn't want to lose anything but again I lose my avni my lifeline she broke all ties with me for her I lied on lie but see atlast I lost her.

Neil's eyes were teary he cries and look down Ali and Neela maa feels bad to see him Ali came to him and sit on the floor in front of him.

Ali: hey relax buddy everything will be fine she will forgive you I know  her she loves you and miss you a lot i know her she also miss you she will forgive you right now she is hurt the wounds are fresh but with time everything will be fine she will forgive you.

Neela maa smiles.

Neil: and if she not do that.

Ali shocked he know how stubborn avni is he smiles.

Ali: this will not happen and if by chance this will happen then for what use we are we will help you don't worry when Ali is here than why to fear.

Neela maa and Neil smiles.

Neil: sorry buddy.

Ali: it's ok but promise me you will always make her happy and never hide anything again.

Neil: I promise.

Ali: then what are you waiting for buddy let's give me a juddu ki jhappi.

Neil smiles they get up and shake hands and hug Neil was happy atleast he got his friend back now soon Avni will also forgive him it's hard but he knew he will pacify her he has to.

Daily Neil practice his dance and Neela maa every time send avni there one day neela maa came to avni she was sitting in the living area.

Nm: Avni go and give the lunch to Neil today I made his favourite pulao.

Avni get irritated she knows why neela maa is doing this avni get up from the couch.

Avni: mamma please stop this I know what are trying to do me and Neil will never be one it's all over between us please stop your efforts.

Nm: ok but why are you hyper if all is over between you so you should not be effected by his presence.

Avni: I am not.

Nm: ok if you are not then what's the problem in taking this Tiffin to him.

Avni look at her.

Nm: fine don't go I will go.

Avni grab the Tiffin angrily and look at her mother after that she went from there Neela maa smiles avni came to the garage where Neil practice she saw Neil and leela are talking and laughing avni get jealous it was their plan to realize Avni that she still loves Neil and can't live without him but they don't know avni already know that but her wounds are fresh they need time to get heal she came to them and bang the Tiffin on the table Neil flinch and look at her.

Avni: mamma send it for you.

Neil: what's in it?

Avni: God gave you eyes see yourself.

Neil frown and leela was hiding her smile she is also with them Neil asked her help and told her about avni and his relation and she happily get ready. Avni turns Neil smiles.

Neil: ab avni.

She turns.

Neil: can you please check some mails I have to practice after lunch actually I can say that to leela but she is my choreographer and you know about our business so please if you don't mind can you.

Avni was about to say but she stop and nods she went to the side Neil smiles he and leela were talking and Neil was stealing gaze on her avni also angrily look at him time to time.

Avni in mind: practice my foot for thirty minutes they are talking and laughing he said I have to practice but why I am thinking about it Avni do you work and go from here.

After sometime avni was going from there but she stop.

Neil: ab leela will you come for a coffee date with me.

Avni shocked and Neil saw her from the corner of her eyes.

Leela: of course.

Avni came back to hear then when to the side and pick the magazine and listen then.

Neil: ok then I will pick you at 5 pm.

Leela: ok I will wait for you.

Avni was getting jealous.

Neil: thank you, you are so sweet you know my girlfriend broke up with me so I was feeling so lonely but you are helping me to come out from that trauma I am so glad to have a friend like you.

Leela look at avni and smiling.

Leela: Nirav you are you handsome how can I regret such a cute boy.

Avni grin her teeth.

Neil: so sweet.

Leela: ok I am going, will meet you at 5.

Neil: ok.

Leela went Neil look at avni she bang the magazine on the table Neil flinch.

Neil: what happened?

Avni: don't you fell ashame in flirting with her.

Neil: what I did you you broke up with me so I want a shoulder to cry.

Avni gave him a deadly glare.

Neil: are you jealousy?

Avni: jealous my foot do whatever you want to do I don't care.

Avni went from there Neil smiles.

Days passes and Neil gave the audition and got selected for competition after first second and final round he got selected in top 12 avni was waiting for him outside he requested her to come so she came with him he came out and was so excited that he came to her and hug her and twirls her he said I got selected avni was also happy Neil make her stand.

Neil: I got selected avni now we will go to Mumbai.

Avni was also happy her eyes were teary.

Neil: I am so excited.

Neil again hugs her then reality hits avni and she breaks the hug Neil look at her and realised their relationship is not like before then something hit him.

Neil in mind: oh no how can I forget about it how can I go Mumbai they are there.

Neil look at avni who was looking at him with a frown. Neil was in dilemma if he not stop he will lose avni and if he go then his family will get to know about him there almost all know him. Neil was looking at avni.

Avni: what happened?

Neil: I am from Mumbai.

Avni shocked they were looking at eachother.
