Benny P.O.V.

We finally arrived at my house, it was a slightly large two story house. The color scheme of it was brown and orange, "well, welcome to my humble home" I said opening the door for them.

They walked in "wow this is really nice" Manako said, "thanks I try to keep it clean" I added. "And judging by the lack of dirty mags any where here I'd have to say your either not a pervert or your swing that way" Smith said. I tilted my head in confusion, throughout my life I've never heard of those words before.

And I didn't know what she meant by that way. "What's with the look?" Smith asked me, "what do those words mean?" I asked. She sweatdropped "well anyway just sign here and Manako will live here" she said handing me some papers.

After signing them, I gave the papers back to Kuroko "thank you, bye" she said walking out of my house and closed the door. For a few brief moments there was an awkward silence between me and Manako, I looked at her a few times but when she looked at me I turned away.

I can't help it, her eye is very beautiful, I can't help but look at it. I finally decided to start a conversation with her, "so Manako, what are your interests?" I asked.

She then looked at me, CCHHZZING!! Oh no. The eye's got me again, I'm locked in its trance. "Why do you ask?" She asked, "uh nothing just curious" I stated.

"Well, I like reading, and I also like..." she then stopped when she saw a copy of my book I bought. "Oh what's this manga?" She asked picking it up. "Oh I've heard of this manga, it's very popular in Japan" she said.

"Oh well, funny thing" I said sheepishly scratching the back of my head. She then looked towards me, "I actually wrote that manga" I stated. "Wow really?" She said surprised, "yeah fallow me" I then lead her to my work room.

Manako P.O.V.

He had just said he's written manga, and a popular one too. Now he was leading me somewhere, when he stopped at a door he opened it and I saw several drawings on a work desk. A lot of concept art on the floor and several manga on shelves presumably for reference.

On his desk was a computer, a printer and one of those digital drawing pads. "This is my work area, I draw a lot of manga here" he said. Yup he was telling the truth, "in addition I also write novels and do illustrations for other books and media".

"Wow there's so much" I said, I then picked up a popular book I've seen on a best seller magazine. "You also wrote this book?" I asked him, "yeah and that one over there is an illustration for a novel cover" he answered.

"Not only do I get paid for my own work but I also get paid for helping make covers for other works as well" Benny stated. "Wow you work a lot" I commented, he then sheepishly scratched his head "well I like my work, and I like doing work as well. I guess I'm just a busy bee" he said.

I smiled, then I ruined the moment because my stomach growled, I knew I should've eaten something on the plane. "Uh... we should probably eat some breakfast shouldn't we?" He asked nervously chuckling.

I nodded doing the same.

Time skip
Benny P.O.V.

Right now we are currently driving to one of the restaurants on the island. I had parked outside a place named the Micronesian mall. "So why have we driven here?" She asked me, "well for one there's a Denny's here and second I thought we could walk around for a while" I stated.

"Oh okay" she then smiled, I did as well and we got out of the car.

About now we were in the restaurant waiting for a waiter or waitress to take out order. "I don't know what know what to choose" she said, "need any help?" I asked. She looked to me then blushed, "uh no, I think I can manage" she said looking down.

The waitress finally arrived and took our orders. I had a grand slam, a kind of breakfast combination, while Manako got a French toast.

After eating we walked around the mall, "so which store did you want to head to first?" I asked. She looked around "how about that store down there" she said pointing to a path next to famous foot locker.

"I can see some trinkets relating to the island's heritage and I want to see some" Manako said. I nodded and we walked down, after getting the store she saw I had actually seen souvenirs of the old Chamorro legends. "Say how did you see these all the way from here?" I asked her.

"Oh monoeyes lack depth perception, I can see really far" she answered. "Oh cool", after buying her a little latte stone we went up to bestsellers. I had went to the front desk to check on how my books were selling. As usual they were selling well, I then check on other mangas to see any new issues.

Unfortunately nothing, I then looked around until I spotted the Linimal based books. I had spotted a book on monoeyes and decided to get it so I could have information if any health problems may occur with Manako.

Manako P.O.V.

The next store we went in was GameStop, Benny was also a gamer. I didn't know about video games, or how to play any so he asked if he could teach me. A weird request but I agreed, "this island has weird weather" I commented when we were outside waiting for the rain to stop.

"Yeah it gets like this sometimes" I heard a voice next to me say. I looked to the side to see a red haired green tailed Lamia. Next to her was a green lizard woman who bore a resemblance to a basilisk lizard.

"But its enjoyable, humidity equals heat and lots of ease for me" the lizard woman said. "My names Leah" the lamia said, "and I'm Basile" the lizard woman said.

"Well my name is Manako, it's good to meet you both" I said, "Manako? You wouldn't happen to know any one by Kuroko smith would you?" I heard a voice asked. I looked behind me to see Smith, "uh Smith what're you doing here?" I asked. She fidgeted her fingers "actually, I'm not Kuroko, my name is Kiseki Smith" she said.

"Kuroko is my older twin sister", I went wide eyed. "Hey Manako what's wrong?" I heard Benny ask, "uh Kuroko?" He said looking at the twin. "Uh no, my name is Kiseki, Kuroko is my sister".

I still couldn't believe it, yet it seems to make sense, Kuroko was always confident. This woman seems like she's  doubting her skills. Kuroko has a can't trust me vibe, Kiseki has a you can trust me Vibe.

"Oh hello Mana-chan" I heard Kuroko greet from behind me. "Smith San, wait, so you two are twins" I said looking between the two. "Why did I have to be her twin" I heard Kiseki say, "aw come on sis why do you say that" Kuroko said.

"YOU MADE ME LOOK LIKE A JERK BECAUSE YOU LOOK LIKE ME!!" The fidgety twin yelled. "Oh hey Kiseki, Kuroko" a male voice said, I looked behind next to the grocery store in the mall called Payless to see a young man around the same age as Benny. "Oh hey Benny, how are you?" He asked.

"Good, nice to see you two, Humatrix Benny said slyly. "Hey what did I say about revealing my pen name" he said, "but hello there, nice to meet you" he said to me. "Uh nice to meet you to Humatrix San" I said, "well at least no one can hear, well sorry to greet and go but if I don't get home soon theres a large suspicion that Viscy is gonna get the others" he said.

"Hope to see you around, come on Leah, Basile let's hurry" he said as they rushed off. "That would be my que I had been looking around for him, I'm uh his coordinator" Kiseki said rushing towards the man and his homestays.

"Do you know him?" I asked Benny, "yeah we knew each other in college, he's better at marine biology then I am"  he said chuckling.

Two boisterous laughs came from behind us, "well if it ain't the damn cyclops from Japan" one said. "And I know that wimpy jerk Benny anywhere" the other said.

Benny started to shake, I was getting concerned, "Benny, are you okay?" I asked. "Hey Mana-chan" he said, "can we please go" he asked.

Benny P.O.V.

I really hate bullies, had since I finally got out of high school. I went as far to avoid them as to speed past college.

It was because of my opthimalphobia making me scared of being stared at. People would use it against me and tease me by focusing on me.

"Like you're going anywhere, ya little pipsqueak, and looks like you got yourself a freak girlfriend" the blonde girl said. She had bumped into me a few times so yeah, Wait freak girlfriend? I looked to Manako and she was starting to tear a little.

"Awe did we hurt the cyclops' feelings?" She teased, that's it! Make fun of me all you want but no one hates on my friends. I calmly walked towards them, "what's wrong you one eye" the man said trying to poke Mana's eye.

That really got to me and I charged them and brought out my taser "huh" they said before I electrocuted them. "Bale fun of me all you want but no one" I said punching them with gloves on my hand with hard bulges in the knuckles.

"HURTS MANA CHAN!!!" I then kicked them into the wall then pounded their clothes into the wall with my glove's claws. That intern stuck them there, "and if you ever do that again I won't be so merciful" I said venomously.

I walked to Manako, "so can we go home now?" I asked, she nodded and we walked to the car.

Smith P.O.V.

I looked at Benny's little show, according to my sources Benny and My sister's host (A/N: for which I shall not reveal my real name) had worked on a little project. A type of a super suit to allow the user to explore areas inaccessible by men.

seeing him defend Manako like that despite his extremely nervous nature. "Hmm hmm, looks like Mana has hooked herself one" I said.

Manako P.O.V.

We got home, what Benny had did, he defended me from those two. I'm still nervous from when people mention my eye, but he didn't seem bothered by it.

And he went to extremes to protect me, besides Kimihito or my team and even Smith San no one has ever did that. Wha... why do I feel like this, my face is heating up, I hope he doesn't see me.

"Hey, Manako, I'm sorry you had to go through that. Being called a freak" he said. "And to see me loose it" my face heated up again "oh no it's fine, but still thanks".

He smiled, and I smiled back and we shared a laugh. "Now come on, let's get you settles in and to bed", he then lead me to the guest room until my room was put in. With which had already been claimed by a little girl.

"Oh yeah, forgot my sister was staying with me, maybe you can sleep in my room while I sleep on the couch" Benny offered. Smith then came in, "hello there, just wanted to let you know that the construction crew will be here next morning to start renovating" she said.

"And since I know your little sister is staying with you in the guest room and she doesn't like to share her space, Mana Chan can sleep with you" Smith said. Both me and him flinched.

Benny P.O.V.

She said what now!? "Uh you mean like I sleep on an inflatable mattress right? No prob" I then went to get said mattress out of the closet. "No I meant it's fine if you sleep in the same bed as Mana Chan" Kuroko stated.

"Smith San, isn't that against the law..." Manako was saying before my coordinator cut her off. "As you know the inter species exchange laws have loosened, other than being able to defend from one another, casual physical contact such as sleeping in the same bed is also allowed" Kuroko stated.

WHAT THE HECK!!!? "Uh is that true?" I asked. I then spotted Manako looking at her phone, she then turned red. "Yes... it is" I looked at her phone and also turned red. It had been a large step in the inter species exchange, in fact the defending from other species and defending from humans was born from the casual contact clause.

"Well sign here tomorrow and the construction can get started tomorrow" Kuroko said.

Later on, the two had gotten into their night wear and into bed. Both beet red, "well, uh good night" I said, "yeah see you in the morning" Manako said. We then fell asleep, Hoping that the next morning wouldn't be awkward.

Manako P.O.V.

The next morning, I woke up, and for some reason I was oddly warm. I opened my eye, then yawned and waited for my vision to adjust. I also felt myself hugging something, I don't remember Benny having a huggy pillow.

Once my vision had adjusted my eye opened wide and my face turned really red. I was hugging Benny, not to mention in a very... inappropriate manner. My arms were wrapped around his neck along with one of my legs on his legs.

Why the heck did I do this in my sleep, I tried to move but fearing I may wake him up I did it slowly. After completely removing myself from him I was about to pull my face away from his.

That was when he opened his eyes and we saw one another's. Then pulled away, "uh morning Mana Chan" he said hastily, "uh morning Benny" I said.

We stood there until his sister wanted breakfast, he got up and made it for her.
