Chapter 2- day-out with shadow

We walked inside to see black and red colors everywhere. I saw shadow's red logo spread across the wall, in the living room. "What do you think"? asked Shadow. "I love it". I answered. Shadow then kissed me passionately. "follow me". he ordered. We then headed upstairs. Shadow then opened a door and inside was red painted walls, with black and yellow words on the wall that read [sophie]. "Awwww, Shadow". "I have been working on it, just for you". I then gave him a hug. "You shouldn't have". I said very happy. "it's not over yet". he said with a smirk. "there's more"? I asked. Shadow then took my hand and we vanished due to chaos control. When the light cleared, we were in front of a building that said [Mobius Laser Tag]. "Wow, I had no idea Mobius had laser tag". "think you can beat me"? he asked as we headed inside as he handed me a gun. "You'll find out". I said with a flirty look and a wink at the end. The game then began. Shadow was on team red and i was on team blue. Shadow then vanished behind me and shot me. "hey, no fair shadow". "what's not fair"? he asked. I then gave him a look. "you can teleport". We were at it for about 30 minutes until someone shot us in the chest. "what the..."? We then looked up to see sonic and hi friends, suited up. "Mind if we join you"? he asked. "oh yeah". "now it's a real competition". The game reseted and we all were split up into four teams. We kept playing for 2 hours until we got tired of playing. "wow, what a rush". said sonic wiping off his forehead of sweat. The points tallied up and i came in 2nd place. "Awwww Man". I said disappointed. I then saw who came in first. "Shadow, you butthole".  I said glaring at him with a smirk. Shadow just shrugged his shoulders. (he ended up winning the whole thing). "well, i am the ultimate life form". he said with a smirk at the end. "Your most definitely the ultimate something". I said back. Everyone then looked at me with the <i can't believe you said that> look. I then punched shadow in the chest, playfully. "I'm just messing with you". "good, cuz i wasn't ". he answered back. Everyone then went silent. Everybody else then went to go do their own thing. Tina then gave me a hug "good luck". she said, then running up to tails. (who by the way, is dating her). "I don't need it". I responded back. I then walked up to shadow. "what should we do next "? I asked. Shadow then smirked. "what"? i asked him. "oh nothing". he said still smirking. (he is acting really strange). "I thought that maybe we could go shopping". he responded. My jaws dropped. "What"? he asked. "you, shadow the hedgehog, ultimate life form, want to go shopping"? i asked dumbfounded. "I want to take you, child". he responded in a way that made me feel stupid. "then lets go". i said changing the awkwardness. We then arrived at the mall to see truckloads and truckloads of stores everywhere. Shadow then gave me some money "here, go enjoy yourself". "where are you going"? I asked as he walked away. "I'll meet you later". Shadow then vanished. I then began to get worried, but then shrugged it off. "maybe he wants to be alone". I said to myself. I then started shopping. I kept going from store to store until i saw a red, heart necklace, with a black heart on the front. I opened up the heart and "over and over by three days grace", started playing. "I love this". I then decided to get this for shadow. "Want giftwrap"? "it's free"? said the cashier. "sure". i answered. After i was done shopping, i went to go find shadow, but instead, saw a karaoke stand. "Anyone want to give a go at this"? asked the man on stage. I then raised my hand, "i'll give it a try". I said going on-stage. "we have a volunteer". said the man as he handed me a microphone. I  then chose the song "awake and alive". by skillet; and sang real loudly. When i finished, everyone cheered and i saw shadow, waiting for me at the bottom of the steps. "i see you had fun". he said commenting on my voice. "yeah, i shopped til i dropped". I answered catching my breath. We both began to laugh. "where did you go anyway"? i asked. "you'll find out....later". He then took my hand and led me outside the mall. "I have one more surprise for you". he said chaos controlling us back to his home. (our home now). "but you have to get dressed in your best clothes". "why"? I asked. "You'll find out, now go get dressed". ordered. "okay". i said heading to my room. "pushy much". I said in my head. "I heard that and no". he responded in my head. I then started looking through my clothes that i bought at the mall and came across my long, red dress. It was silky as thread. It also sparkled at the bottom of the dress. I slowly put it on and started straightening my hair. I normally don't use make-up, but i don't know where were, going, so i put some on. I looked at my self in the mirror, but it looked incomplete. "it needs something". I said to my self. I then pulled out my red and black heart necklace out of my drawer. "perfect". I said as i headed downstairs.  "I'm ready". i said looking around and finding my self in a silent room. "hello"? "Shadow"? i yelled. "where did he go this time"? "maybe i was too slow". I then caught a glimpse of something on the table. "or maybe not". I picked up the note and read {sophie, meet me at Mobius square when your done for your surprise. ~ shadow}. I then grabbed my chaos emerald. "ok shadow". I said as i vanished in a flash of light. When the light cleared, I was in Mobius square, where i saw nobody around. "ok shadow, i'm here". I said , but nobody answered. "SHADOW"! i yelled. The sun then went completely down and the street lights went completely out. "what in the...."? Then a spotlight landed on me. Another spotlight landed in the corner. Sonic then came out in a blue tux. "welcome to your surprise, sophie". He then flicked a switch and colorful lights came around everywhere and formed a huge circle around Mobius square. Then the song, "whispers in the dark" started playing (which is one of my favorites). Everyone came out from the shadows and began dancing I was in the mood for this and started dancing all over the place. When the song ended, Everyone clapped and the song "never too late, by three days grace", started playing. I then felt someone tap me on the shoulder. I turned around to see shadow, in his red and black tux. He then took my hand and we started dancing and i felt intense and my love for him increased the more I looked at him. "Shadow"? "yes"? he asked. "why did you do all this"? I asked. He then gave me a warm smile. "because i love you and want to show you that you are the intense love, in my heart, increasing". "You feel that too"? Shadow then came closer til our noses and lips were almost touching. "I've always felt it, even when we first met". I started to smile. "and you love me for me and not because i'm powerful". I then started to blush a little. "i'm glad that you love me, even when i was a human being, that you hate". "not you and never again". he whispered in my ear. We then kissed for a long, passionate time. We heard everyone clapping and cheering for us. When we finished kissing, the song changed to "when can i see you again"? by owl city. We danced the night away. Shadow and i then became tired and chaos controlled home. I was too tired to make it to my bed, so i layed on the couch. "shadow, can you lay with me, til i fall asleep"? Shadow then looked at me confused. "Are you scared"? "no, it's just....I sorta saw a stalker, stalking me at the party and i don't feel comfortable sleeping alone in here". Shadow then crossed his arms and smirked. "is that all"? he asked. "yep". i answered. (ok, that was only half of the reason. the other half was i wanted to lay beside him for protection, because i have never been away from Sonic's house without everyone next door). (plus, shadow is the only one here to protect me, not that i don't trust him). "ok sophie, i'll stay with you the night". I then felt my heart race and my pulse beating rapidly as he scooted in closer. Shadow then held me close and kissed me on the cheek. "calm down, i won't let anyone hurt you". I then started to relax and closed my eyes and felt my heart beat slow down and my pulse come to a steady beat. I then fell into a deep, comfortable sleep.
