Chapter 1

An assassin sat on top of a house. She was in a small suburb, too generic to remember. He target was a middle aged scientist who was an enemy of the league of shadows. It was pouring rain, but that didn't matter. She was getting her target.

A young girl was walking home. She was carrying her huge bass clarinet case. To make things even better the sky was trying to drown her and she wasn't wearing a jacket. Fantastic.

The assassin was about to hit her target. Until the saddest, most pathetic looking girl ever walked right past. She was soaking wet, wearing no jacket, and carrying a huge case for something. The assassin, for some reason, felt bad for the young girl. She forgot about her target and followed the girl into the library.

"Are you okay?" The assassin asked the girl.

"Y-yeah. I'll be fine." The assassin didn't believe the girl for a second. Out of her water resistant, fire proof, backpack the assassin took out black leggings and a tee shirt.

The girl mumered thanks, went to the bathroom, and changed. The cloths were big on her, but dry. She exited the bathroom to find the woman looking at her bass clarinet.

"What are you doing?"

"I wanted to see what was in the case."

"Oh. Okay. Thank you for the cloths......"

"Blair." The assassin felt like kicking herself, did she really just give this girl her real name?

"Well I'm Pixie. It's a pleasure to meet you!"

"Your name is Pixie?"

"Yep!"

"Okay...."

Pixie's eyes flashed with realization. "They might be dry." She whispered.

Pixie took a lunch box out of her backpack. Out of the lunchbox she took a plastic container. Out of the plastic container she took out something wrapped in tin foil.

At this point Blair was expecting to see a human organ or a bomb.

Pixie unwrapped the tin foil to reveal brownies.

"Take as many as you want!" Pixie said.

Blair was hesitant, they could be poisioned, but they also looked fantastic. Blair took a small bite of one, and then she tried to think of the most efficient way to fit all of them in her mouth at once.

Pixie handed the foil wrapped pieces of heaven to Blair.

"I'm glad you like them."

"I never said-"

"You didn't have to, your easier to read than a Harry Potter book."

Did this little girl just call Blair Blake easy to read? Blair didn't know if she should be impressed of offended.

Pixie wrote her phone number on a piece of paper.

"If you ever want to talk to me again you can call my house. If not, jus wait to throw it out until after I leave. My parents should be here any minunte."

Than Pixie did the unthinkable, she hugged Blair. Blair had no idea why she didn't drop kick Pixie for touching her. Any other person Blair would have stabbed.

"It was nice meeting you Blair."

"It was nice meeting you too, Pixie. Thanks for the brownies."

"Anytime." A car horn sounded cut through the sound of the rain. "That's my parents, got to go. Bye!"

Blair went to the trashcan to throw out the tin foil that the brownies came in, since there was none left. She stood there for a second about to throw out the phone number, but something stopped her. Blair looked at the carefully written pink cursive numbers and the signature's "i" dotted with hearts. Blair shoved the paper in her pocket and went outside to get her target. The League would not accept failure.

Blair did complete her mission that day but more importantly she made a friend, a friend who would change Blair's life. A friend who would get her life changed because of Blair.

This is the story of Pixie Witsel and her very adnoramal life.
