After detention I head home. I run into my small room. I want to run away, from this life, from everything. I put the teddy bear my parents gave me when I was born in my small bag.

I climb out the window and run. I tried running away many times. At some point he will find me and I will get hurt but I need a break.

I run as fast as I can. The wind blows through my face. I end up at a park. There's kids laughing and chasing each other around. I sit on the swings and close my eyes. I pray. I get my teddy bear the only thing I have from my real parents. I hug my bear and cry. I can imagine it. Me meeting my parents:

"Mom, dad, you have no idea how much I been through. I love you but why did you leave me? There must be a good reason" I would ask them in tears.

I fall asleep on the bench and hug the teddy bear. Its cold but I don't care.

Hours pass and finally Mike finds me. I wake up in the middle of the night with yelling in my ears. "YOU! I WILL SHOW YOU WHEN WE GET HOME! I WILL SHOW YOU WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU RUN AWAY AGAIN!!" He yells. I ignore him and close my eyes.

"YOUR SO STUPID GOD DAMN YOU!!" He yells again as he bangs my head with a pan. The whole world goes black. I wake up with Mike hitting me and cussing. I close my eyes again and pray.

Finally when he's done he locks me in a dark cold room with no windows so I can't climb out. I close my eyes and hug my knees. I stand up and yell:

"IM TRASH, I DONT BELONG IN THIS WORLD, IM FROM THE GARBAGE." I say in tears.

I don't belong in this..world." I say in my tears.

"I dont-I don't belong in this world..." I repeat to myself until I fall asleep.

The next morning:

I wake up to Mike cussing in my ear to wake up.

I get up and change into my only clothes, and grab my bag and put my shoes on. I run to school. I see the bullies coming towards me. Oh no.

"I'm so sorry. I feel bad." Emma says.

"We're sorry for bullying you." Jess says.

"Please forgive us. You can be our friend." Kat says.

"Your lying." I say with a laugh.
"No. We thought about what we done. We're sorry please give us a chance." Jess says.

I really really want friends. I always wondered what it's like having friends, but not with them. Never. They bullied me so much.
"Friends?" Emma asks with her hand out.
I'll give them a chance I guess.
I shake it. "Friends." I say with a sigh.

Lunch:
"Sorry about yesterday. You can sit with us." Kat says.

"Thank you." I say. As we sit down Emma points to a poster that says homecoming.

"OMG! We should totally go!" Emma says.
"Yeah!" I say as I try to fit in, even though I don't really care.

"It's next week." I say.
"Ill let you borrow one of my dresses." Emma says with a smile.

"Gee thanks!!" I say. Maybe Emma, Kat, and Jess did really change. Maybe they felt sorry for what they done.
