It's finally sophomore year. As I head to music, my last class of the day I suddenly hear some giggling.

"Huh?" I say to myself.

I walk in the other hall that the sound is coming from.

I hear more giggling.

I can't believe my eyes. Luke is talking to another girl.

Okay relax Nikki. He's just talking to a girl its not like they kissed or anything.

Suddenly Luke leans in for a kiss. They start making out. Tears start falling from my eyes.

As I run to the bathroom a boy says something.

"Hey. You ok?" Oh he's just one of those popular guys i see around.

"Oh um yeah." I lie.

"Naw there's something definitely wrong. Psh your crying." He says.

"No no i just failed a test and yea." I lie again.

"C'mon tell me what's wrong. Here ill treat you to Starbucks." He says.

"I barely know you." I say with a laugh.

"I'm Justin." He says.

"I'm Nikki." I say.

"Well if you ever need help with anything. Here's my number." He says with a wink.

"Thanks." I say as he leaves.

My music teacher suddenly walks in.

"Miss Nikki. Where have you been? Go to class now!" She says.

I nod and walk to music.

After school:

As we walk home Luke says.

"You been quiet." Luke says.

I ignore him.

"Ooh somebody's had a bad day. What happened? Drama in class? Drama with teacher? Drama with friends? Drama with-"

"Shut up idiot." I interrupt him.

"Nikki. Chill. I know you had a bad day just don't blame it on me. God." Luke says.

I look at him and give him a nice good slap.

"Oh so it's okay for you to make out with another girl. Your a piece of shit." I say as I run home.

I run home with tears.

"Nikki what's wrong?" Dad asks.

"Mom, dad Luke cheated on me." I say as I cry harder.

"Oh honey! I'm so sorry. I can't believe that jerk did this!" Mom says as she kisses my cheek. I cry as my parents both hug me. I hug them.

I go to my room and take out the paper with Justin's number on it.

I enter it in my phone.

"Hey about that Starbucks treat.."
