chapter 3
Well, the ride wasn't as interesting as I thought. Chance flirted with me every once in a while. I could feel his ego by the end of the ride. I honestly do think I could get along with him. Although I never liked people with the same personality as him. They always got on my nerve. All they ever did was act like they were better than everyone else. He's probably a player.
Luckily the car ride was over soon. My aunt asked Chance to show Jack around the boy's dorm because ironically enough, they were sharing a room. She said she would have one of my roommate show me the girl's dorm. How big were these rooms going to be? We dropped off the boys at a three story building, then we were off again. I didn't know what to expect when I got to my dorm. All I know about it was that I'm sharing it with a girl named Paris and a girl named maddi. Yeah, kinda unique names, but hopefully they're cool. I just hope this isn't a disaster.
Before I knew it, we were pulling up to another building. This one had three stories like the boys dorm, but this one was also more feminine. It had flowers in the front and was a lighter color than the boys. I didn't want to admit it, but I was kinda excited. My bags were already in my room so all I had to do was go up there. I was handed a key when I got out of the limo. I watched the limo drive off. I was stuck there now. I looked down at the key that had numbers on the key chain.
"304" I said out loud to myself. I felt a small smile creep on my face as I turned and looked at the building.
I was obviously on the top floor considering it had a three on it. I hope there're elevators cuz I don't want to walk up three flights of stairs. I started walking towards the school with a million thoughts and questions. What will it look like? Will I be accepted? I was soon standing with my hand on the door knob of front door. This is where my new life begins. I hope there aren't too many people in there right now.
The next thing I knew, I was turning the handle. As I walked in, I saw a huge living area. There were girls on the couch watching tv. I felt eyes on me as I looked around. There was a pool table that girls were using. I assume they all knew I was new because they couldn't stop looking at me. I looked around and saw an elevator in front of me. I started walking towards it, but I was stopped.
"And who are you." A girl with brown hair asked me. I could hear her inner bitch coming out. I could also see the sneer on he face. I noticed the whole tough thing, queen bee type attitude. I hated it.
"Umm, I'm the head mistresses niece." I said back. I'm also not the stick up your ass, might wanna get that checked, I wanted to say.
"Im Jess, remember that name. So you're the new girl everyone has been talking about. I don't know why everyone is talking about you so much. You're nothing special. You're obviously not going to amount to much at this school. You should just go back to where you came from"
I looked at her in aww. Did she really just say that to me? I put a small smirk on my face as I looked her straight in the eyes. She looked uncomfortable at the gesture. She obviously wasn't used to it. I didn't care though, she obviously didn't know who I was, what I've been through, and what I'm capable of.
"Yup, that's me, and you must be the bitch of the school. That is unless you're the school's slut bag. Why do you think you have the authority to talk to me like that. You obviously don't know who I am because I could ruin you right here, right now. One thing you should know about me, I don't take other people's shit. So next time you think you can say something to tear me down, think twice because you have no idea what I've been through. I'm flattered you lost some of your sweet time thinking about me but you can stop because I know for a fact I'm not gonna lose sleep over you. Now you can get the stick out of your ass and perk up because now you can tell your little friends about how you tried to be cool." I didn't let her say anything else. I walked around her and got into the elevator. She was obviously staring at me. She was shocked for some reason, but I didn't care.
"You have some nerve." She said as I stood in the elevator.
"Obviously." I said giving her a fake smile. I saw the doors starting to shut. I flipped her the birdy right before they shut.
It was like everyone was surprised that someone stood up to her. Maybe she's queen B of the school after all . If she is, I feel bad for everyone here.
My thoughts were interupted by the ding of the elevator. The doors opened and I walked out. I looked at my key again to make sure I had the right room number. I walked to room 304 and put my key in the hole. I turned the lock and the door opened. I walked in to see two girls sitting on one of the beds. One had brown hair and the other had blond hair. You could tell she changed the color of her hair because her brown roots were showing. Even though it wasn't done recently, it looked good on her.
"You must be Faith. I'm Paris." The one with brown hair says
"I'm Maddi. So you're the one that had the guts to tell off Jess?" The one with blond hair said with a smile.
They seemed nicer than the one downstairs. I had no idea how they already heard about the thing downstairs. To be honest, it kinda freaked me out. News must travel fast here. I was a little, well a lot curious so I decide to ask.
"Yeah, nice to meet you both. So how did you know about the thing downstairs?" I asked raising an eyebrow.
"It's all over snapchat and twitter." Everyone thinks you're a saint right now. It wouldn't surprise me if the boys dorm knew about it." Maddi said with a smile.
I nodded my head. Fair enough. If news traveled that fast, I wonder if Jack new about it.
"You said it's on snapchat. Did someone record it or something?"
"Yeah, the whole thing. A lot of people saw it coming and well, recorded it. She does it to every new person that walks through the door. We don't really get a lot of new people though, I guess she just has to take every opportunity to show where she stands in lone peak academy. " Paris said shaking her head.
I saw Paris look down at her phone again.
"No way. Apparently the same thing happened at the boys dorm. Some kid named Jack went at it with Chad. Chad is Jess's twin brother. It must be Christmas. Hey, this guy kinda looks like you." She said with an amused smile.
My head snapped up at Jack's name being said.
"Oh my god, Jack got in a fight. I swear, he's so stupid. Please tell me it wasn't a fist fight. Wait, Jess has a twin brother."
"Yeah, his name's Chad. Wait, you know this kid." Maddi asked me.
"Yeah, ironically, he's my twin brother."
"Well I guess you two will be the talk of the school for the rest of the year." Paris added
"Wait, you guys. This is really ironic. Who would've thought that twins that are basically second in comand. would've gotten in a fight with other twins in two different dorm buildings. It's like double day or something." Maddi said trying to make a joke.
"I just can't believe my brother got in a fight. The only person he's ever fought is our step dad." I said trailing off into a mumble.
I started walking to the bed I assumed was mine, considering it had all my bags around and on it. Sadly, I was stopped by banging on our door.
Maddi sighed as she walked to the door and opened it. Standing there was an extremely mad Jess and a very beat up boy I assume as Chad. I looked to the side of Chad and saw him holding Jack by the collar. Trailing behind the three was a care free Chance. It was like a party. Jack was grinning widely. I saw a cut on his cheek and his lip was bleeding which was just as bad compared to what Chad looked like. You could tell Chad had a bloody nose. His lip was also swollen also bleeding. Even though he was beat up, he was kinda cute. I rolled my eyes.
"Jack, you dead ass. Why would you get in a fist fight the first day here. Dan would've killed you and me for letting you do it." I said. I saw Jack's smile fade.
"Sorry." Was all he said.
I looked up at Jess and Chad. I kept looking back and forth between the two. I stopped and focused my gaze on Chad. He held my gaze. I broke the eye contact I had with him for a quick second, just so I could look at his hand, tightly holding onto my brothers shirt. I was soon holding his gaze again.
I've always had a certain voice I could use to make people do things. I don't know why, but it always came in handy.
"Let go of my brother." I said in the strongest voice I had.
"And what are you gonna do if I don't." He said back. He then had the audacity to check me out, which fueled my anger even more.
I pushed my way past Maddi and Jess. Jess to my surprise, had stayed quiet the whole time. I was soon standing face to face with Chad. I had to slightly look up at him, but I didn't care. I saw Chance take a step towards us but Jack and Chad both held up their hand to him so he would stop. Chad had a smirk on his face. Jack had a smug expression on his face, he knew what was going to happen. He also knew what would happen if Chad didn't do what I wanted him to do.
"I said, let go of my brother." I said in a more demanding tone.
Not to my surprise, Chad let go. He looked surprised that he did. He looked at me one more time. I started to turn and walk back in my room, but he stopped me. He then did something that had never been done before.
In a matter of seconds, he had his arms wrapped around my waist and had his lips on mine.
It only took about two seconds and Jack had pinned Chad. I walked right into my room and the last word I heard were from Chad.
"I like this one."
I then slammed the door shut. What a day it's been. I'm not really sure why he did it or why any part of this day happened actually. I honestly need sleep, I can't process anything anymore. Wad that Chad showing his place or something. Some alpha male type thing, whatever. I can go early day I want nothing do do with it.
