Dont start the music yet
If you have not watched tdp season 2 major spoilers ahead. Kinda.

🎶🎶-We were playing in the sand-🎶

We were both playing in the sand, making a sandcastle we thought that was the best one in katolis. Maybe it wasn't, but that takes away half the fun. We were both happily talking until you brought up love.

"raylla, do you know what its like to be in love? "

🎶 -And you found a little band-🎶

I started to feel very nervous around you. Of course I did, and it grew deeper with every passing day. But it was weird,  an elf loving a human. But I did.  I snapped out of my trance and answered.

"I kinda do, but I'm not a love expert. " I lied covering flusteredness  with seriousness as best as I could.

🎶-you had told me you had fell in love with it-🎶

"well I think I love someone,  and I want to tell her... But I don't think I can. Advice? " you asked. My heart started to race. But I pretended to be calm as touched your hand in a friendly way.

"don't say ' I don't think ' because I sure as heck think you can.  Just be yourself. I'll bet she loves the real you. Go tell her whenever your ready. "

🎶- but it haden't gone as I planned -🎶

You started to stand up. " I think I'm ready now. " you said confidently, and started to walk to Claudia.

Instead she walked up to you in her black sundress and pulled your hand. She said she wanted to go get ice cream with you. Of course you accepted.

🎶- and when you had to bid adieu - 🎶

You waved for me to come with but I replied : "no thanks, I don't want any right now. " I put on a fake smile as my heart shattered to a million pieces. I knew you loved her. I knew you only saw me as a friend. And I had to accept that.

When you came back I was sitting and staring at the ocean.  Thinking about what just happened,  I was in a complete trance. You took me out of it by sitting by me.

"so. Did you tell her? "I asked with fake enthusiasm.

🎶- said you'd never love anew-🎶

You shook your head no.  "I didn't exactly get....  The chance." you blushed and bent down to lick your ice cream as I bopped you in the back of your head. Your cherry ice cream was all over in your face.

I started to laugh. "you wimp. You'll never tell her at this rate! "  soon you started to join in too.

You wiped your face with the towel you were sitting on and smiled. "no, but I will one day. I don't think there will ever be anyone like her. "
You dazed off into the distance smiling.

🎶- I wondered if I could hold it and fall in love with it too - 🎶

As I looked at you I wondered if you would ever love me the same way. I wondered What if I finished the sentence those months ago when you were in a feverish coma.

"callum i-i. I-"... love you. Then you woke up. And I blushed all flustered. And I never finished the sentence. Back then. I still whisper it to myself when you leave my side, or when I'm alone in my room. As if I was going to tell you but couldn't.

But it was today, and today wasn't back then. You snapped me out of my thoughts once more.

"rayla are you ok? " you asked.

🎶 - you told me to buy a pony but all I wanted was you. - 🎶

I felt the heat rise to my cheeks. " I think I might be in the same situation that you're in, but not with Claudia. Advice? "

You thought for a moment. And then you finally said, "just go for it. Tell him how you feel. Dont be shy  rayla, I know I am but you don't get to be like me." you chuckled. "act like your talking to me, if that helps. "

"But that person I love is you.

I didn't know what to do. So I took your advice. I told you that moment with no hesitation, but not with words. But with a kiss.
