[5]-Pig demon VS water demon

(My POV)

It has been about a month and a half since the journey has started and thanks to Bajie joining the group we no longer are stuck with just berries and fish to eat. Honestly though, his cooking is so good, especially the noodles to the point where I question how I went through my past life not ever once getting to try these amazing noodles! I even asked him if he would give me cooking lessons. which thankfully he was more than happy to provide me with cooking lessons. I seriously don't wanna resort to eating my own hair in the future, like my male counterpart.

Not only that but the circlet hasn't been used as often lately, which I am very happy about considering how much pain that darn spell causes me. My friends seem to have noticed how frequently the monk uses that spell on me and now they're the reason it's not used as often as they cited with me when I tried to explain to the monk that there are gonna be times when violence will have to be used as not everyone is gonna listen to reason.

I swear by the time I finally get this thing off my head. I'm gonna end up with a scar all around the top of my head, where this damn circlet was placed upon me. Then of course there's my precious little brother, Ao lie. Everything he does is absolutely adorable but the moment someone looked at me somewhere they're not supposed to they end up getting a death threat, or you can't find them and it got to the point where I had to explain to them that he shouldn't try killing somebody unless that person is trying to make the monk there next meal

I called Bajie piglet by accident at one point and he got mad at me like I mean really mad and I made sure to immediately apologize and promised to make sure not to call him that again and that if I ever did call him that by accident, then he could go ahead and let me know and I would make sure to apologize in case I ever do.

Surprisingly, the monk doesn't get kidnapped as often anymore, every time we leave to do our own thing. So far, the only demons stupid enough to try and kidnap the monk again are the gold and silver twins, yin and gin. Honestly, I wish I could say I was surprised, but I'm not especially since both of the twins are absolute idiots. I'm not trying to be mean I'm just being honest.

Right now Bajie, Ao lie and I are in an underground fighting arena while the monk is resting at an inn. We had come across the fighting arena while we were exploring like usual and I got curious since this was the first time we had ever come across something like this. The fact that we were watching wasn't really that great as a matter of fact, it was kind of boring considering the two demons that were fighting each other were really just slapping each other like a couple of sissies or something like that.

Ao lie said that this was getting boring, and Bajie suggested that we leave and head back to the inn. I agreed, and just as we were about to leave the guy that I assumed ran or owned this place took notice that we were leaving early and suggested a place for us to watch some fighting in a nearby village. Or at least close to a nearby village at least. Ao lie mentioned how that village was the village that we would be headed to next and we decided that we would check it out once we got there, hopefully without the monk noticing.

When we finally got to the next village we settled into one of the inns at said Village, and then by nightfall, we carefully snuck out one of the windows and made our way towards where the fight would be. Ao lie was being cute as always as he jumped out of the window, and I quietly giggled as I watched him before carefully, jumping out the window after him and Bajie.

Once we reach the area where the fight is supposed to be, we find that the area is filled to the brim with bones. It's honestly a little unsettling. Sure I've gotten used to seeing dead bodies by this point, but seeing this many remains of dead people in one area is a little unsettling. We then heard a loud noise from behind us and when we turned around, we ended up seeing a big buff guy with blue skin, red hair, and he was wearing a necklace of skulls.

(Wujing)- So you've wandered into the territory of Sha Wujing? Do you know what I do to trespassers?

(Me)- Serve them tea?

Even though I was joking, I did say this with a nervous tone. I am very well aware that this is not Sandy. Not yet at least. But I couldn't help but make that little joke, knowing that Sandy says that when he's introduced to the characters and the audience in the original show.

(Wujing)- I serve them pain!

As he shouted that he lifted his own crescent, shaped staff above his head and swung it down, ready to attack us. I quickly tried to ask him if there was any way we could avoid this making sure to tell him that we were not there to fight. He said that he would spare our lives if one of us could beat him in a battle. I sighed and rolled up my sleeves as I prepared myself to fight the big guy, especially knowing that between me and my two brothers, I would be the only one capable of surviving any fight since I'm immortal. However, he said that he would be the one to decide who he fights, and then proceeded to say that he would fight the pig a.k.a. My brother Zhu Bajie.

I stepped in between him and Bajie, stopping him before any damage could be done. I asked him why fight at all, and his answer was actually heartbreaking. If the world is only ever going to see him as a monster, then there's no point in being anything else. Me and my two brothers felt so bad for him and I could tell based off the way my two brothers looked at me that they were thinking the same thing I was. this guy needs more than just help. He needs a friend maybe even more than just one.

After that, we were able to make friends with Sha Wujing and he joined our group. Eventually, of course, I wasn't surprised, of course, but still the monk did find out that we weren't at the inn and had come looking for us only to find us hugging a demon that was twice our size actually to be honest he was around the same size that Bajie was in his original full demon form before settling on a more harmless form, but still. Thankfully, the monk was more than happy to welcome Wujing as a part of the group, and with that we proceeded on with the journey, especially now that we had every member of the original pilgrims in the group.
