(My POV)

So currently we were all eating lunch and honestly if it wasn't, thanks too Ao lie, I probably would have snapped by now. Once again, the monk was nagging me for eating meat. And I understand that he lives off the same diet that most monks do similar to Aang from avatar the last Airbender. So instead, I decided to take a deep breath and explain why I couldn't live off the same diet as him.

(Me)- Listen, the reason why I can't live off the same diet as you is because I'm a girl and most girls need more nutrients than guys do and the quickest way for me to get all the necessary nutrients I need is by eating meat. Just because you live off of a vegetarian diet doesn't mean I have to.

I swear at that point I was so irritated I was about ready to go and look for a tree or something to release all my anger on that I have to stay and make sure that the monk doesn't get kidnapped again. Thankfully Ao lie was there to help me stay calm. Honestly, I'm glad to call him my little brother.

After we finished our lunch we continued on moving. Eventually, we found ourselves in a swamp, and after moving through the swamp for a while, the monk decided that we should stop and rest, which I was thankful for even if I don't really like him. I then sat down on a nearby rock to relax while the monk was busy meditating.

But once I noticed my reflection in the water, that's when I noticed how long my hair had gotten and I'm not exactly a big fan of having a long hair. I used my Shapeshifting ability to see how I'd look with a bob cut, but as soon as I did, I quickly realized that a bob cut would not work with this body so I decided I just cut my hair to match Cannon Wukong's hairstyle.

I then proceeded to pluck some hairs from my head and use my power to turn the hairs into scissors and then proceeded to start cutting my hair. Ao lie must have noticed what I was doing because he snatched the scissors from my hand and then started cutting my hair for me.

(Ao lie)- You look like you could use a little help. I hope you don't mind.

(Me)- I appreciate the help, thanks.

I had told him about Macaque while he was cutting my hair, but I never mentioned Macaque's name, because technically they're not supposed to meet him until much later. He did, however, quickly figure out that I have a crush on Macaque even if he doesn't know his name. We were on our way back to the area where we left the monk because well earlier he was complaining about us making too much noise and how he wanted peace and quiet so that way he could meditate.

However, when we got back, there was no trace of him. This irritated me to a massive degree because this meant that he had gotten kidnapped again. I stopped counting by this point. All I know is that this means I gotta go save him again. Boy what I wouldn't give to just skip this entire journey altogether. At least I wouldn't have to constantly be saving this stupid monk from getting eaten and on the plus side I wouldn't worry about the possibility of ending up killing the guy I love.

Thanks to my gold version we did eventually find the monk. Unfortunately, there was also a whole bunch of very big and very strong looking demons in the area as well. Because of what I am, I'd be able to go through there just fine. Ao lie on the other hand is going to need a disguise.

I didn't wanna get his outfit or hair dirty though, so I tried to come up with a different idea other than using mud to disguise him. All of a sudden, the idea of using some of my hair to glamour him, came into my mind, and I quickly pulled some of my hair off my head and attached it to his shirt and within seconds, he looked like a little monkey demon with white and green fur.

After I helped him with his disguise, we make our way into the line and as a result, we end up bumping into one of the demons surrounding the little restaurant where the monk is being held. The demon we were talking to did confirm what I had asked, but he wasn't looking at my eyes, but rather... he was looking at my chest.

(Me)- Hey! My eyes are up here, buddy! 😑

The demon then tried to suggest having me go home with him so we could do something very... adult, Ao Lie stood in front of me and gave the demon the most menacing glare I have ever seen before proceeding to threaten to shave him down until the only thing keeping him covered was the clothes he was wearing, and then threatening to rip out his eyes and making him eat them. It was actually so scary in fact that it actually disturbed me as well.

(Me)- Remind me never to get on your bad side.

Eventually, we settled on Trying to avoid getting caught cutting in line so we could sneak up onto the roof of the building and save the monk. Of course we got caught, and the crowd of Demons were starting to get very angry because of that. However, the two of us did manage to get inside, even if we ended up crashing through the roof and not only did we end up, encountering the monk, but we also encountered a certain pig as well. I gave the monk a brief rundown of the situation at hand before lifting the monk over my shoulder about to escape.

(The monk)- Wait! What are you going to do?

(Bajie)- What a true chef always does... leave their customers satisfied!

After he said that he pulled out his rake and ended up making enough food to satisfy all the hungry demons before the four of us left that area. Once we were far enough away, we had told him about the journey that we were going on and he asked if he could join to which Ao Lie and I were more than happy to have him join even going as far as to tell him the limited amount of food options we had regarding berries for the monk and fish for Ao Lie and I. Bajie was more than happy to provide a bit more variety when it came to food, which the monk, Ao Lie and I we're all more than happy to hear
