(My POV)

As time went by, the brotherhood continued to make plans for the battle against heaven. And although I didn't even attempt to form any sort of a bond with the main three members of the brotherhood. I did end up forming a sort of sibling bond with DBK.

He at some point revealed to me that he had developed a crush on Princess Iron Fan. However, he did view this as a problem because PIF is the princess of the celestial realm and the daughter of the Jade Emperor. However, I didn't have a problem with the fact that he had a crush on her as a matter of fact, I supported him.

(Me)- DBK, if you love her, then tell her. You have my support, brother. How you tell her it's up to you though.

(DBK)- Thank you, dear sister.

Of course, DBK is one of the few people that knows about my crush on  Macaque other than a few of the monkeys on FFM and General Ma. Honestly, both he and general Ma are constantly encouraging me to admit my feelings too Macaque, but the problem is... I don't know how to tell him yet.

The day of the battle finally came and I wasn't mentally ready for it. I didn't want it to happen, but I knew it had to happen in order for certain future events to happen. I asked General Ma and general Li to look after FFM and its people until the day I finally return. Even if I knew that it would be centuries before that day finally comes.

During the battle against heaven, I made sure to direct DBK towards PIF. The other three main brotherhood members took care of other groups of the celestial army leaving Macaque and me to fight against the remaining members of the celestial army. Eventually, I found myself going against the lotus Prince himself, Nezha. Eventually, during the battle, I managed to pin him under a large group of clones with some help from, Macaque. As soon as Nezha was taken care of, I made my way towards the throne room, where I knew that Jade Emperor would be.

(Nezha)- Emma, Stop! You don't understand what could happen without the Jade Emperor! He's the only one capable of wielding that power!

(Me)- I know, but if I don't do this... then certain events in history won't happen... and I can't risk changing history...

I could hear the lotus print himself asking me what I was talking about, but I didn't answer instead I just gave Macaque a sad smile before entering the palace and making my way towards the throne room so I could battle the Jade Emperor. I know I'll get punished for it and I'm ready to accept that punishment... even if it'll be a long time before I see the people I care most about again.

After the battle was over, like expected, I ended up trapped under a mountain as punishment. I just sat there with only my head and arm sticking out from under the mountain. This was definitely gonna be the first of many times that I would be thankful for being immortal. Especially since mortals would not be able to survive being trapped like this. And as added punishment, they are even making me eat iron or whatever it is that they're making me eat either way it tastes awful and as much as I don't like it, I know I have to accept this punishment.

Decades go by and I can't help but wonder how much longer it'll be before the monk will show up to free me and put that damn circulate on my head and forced me to join him on his journey. Just when I was about to fall asleep again I heard a familiar voice. I thought I'd never hear again for quite a while.

(Macaque)- Hey there, peaches. I got you something.

I looked up and saw that he was holding a peach out in front of me, but honestly, I didn't care about the peach. I glanced over at him and as much as I tried, I couldn't stop the tears from falling.

(Me)- M-Macaque?

He must've noticed the tears in my eyes because next thing I know he's immediately putting the peach he had in his hands into his pocket before coming up in front of me and gently holding my head in his hands before carefully wiping the tears from my eyes.

(Macaque)- I'm right here, Peaches... I'm right here...

(Me)- I-I'm sorry, I'm so sorry! I should have listened to you! I'm so sorry, Macaque! 😭

As I cried out, my apologies he told me that it was gonna be okay and that he wasn't mad at me. However, that didn't stop me from being so upset, especially since I knew he couldn't stay. If he stayed, he'd end up getting punished like me. I didn't want him to get punished.

It took me a while to convince him, but eventually, I did get him to finally leave. He had placed the peach he brought for me in my one free hand and placed a kiss on my forehead before using a shadow portal to leave. It broke my heart to watch him go... but I didn't wanna risk him getting punished too.

400 years later, and the monk had finally arrived and released me from the mountain only to place the circulate on my head and give me a completely new outfit. The outfit didn't bother me. What did bother me was the circulate that was placed upon my head. Especially knowing that it's going to bring me a lot of pain.
