Hayden's POV
I woke up today feeling awfully tired today if I had my way I'd skip school and rest my head.
Movie night was great I love horror movies even though I'm easily scared.

I take a bath,get dressed,ate breakfast and I was on my way but I decided to stop at Justin's just to make sure he's fine in that empty house of his.

I really hope that awful girl butler isn't on duty jenin,she's awfully racist.

I arrive at their house and rang their expensive bell and unluckily for me it was jenin.

Jenin " Hola Senior buenos diez "

Hayden " I'm not Mexican "

Jenin " Salamalaikum brother "

Hayden " I'm not a Muslim either "

Jenin " Good morning and welcome to America where we accept all Africans "

Hayden " okay your crazy "

I say and immediately walk pass her see what I mean " racist ".
" Justin foley where the hell are you "
I yell as I walk around his living room. He comes out in a matching sweatshirt and jogger.

Justin " You sound like a damsel in distress can we go "

Hayden " sure I just need to grab a drink from the fridge "

Justin " sure I think jenin went shopping she's in the kitchen now "

Hayden " I'll pass "

He laughs and we head to the parking lot.

We arrive at school a bit earlier than usual so we sit in an empty classroom and actually talk which we haven't in a while .

Justin " Your telling me that I need a girlfriend "

Hayden " yeah it'll be good "

Justin " it seems a bit far fetched "

Hayden " just try it dude "

Justin " who do you even have in mind "

Hayden " Casey Ryan "

Justin " You sound crazy she ruined Alexa's life "

Hayden "I know your worried about what Alex might say but I'll fix that issue "

Justin " absolutely not Hayden "

Hayden " you might change your mind "

Alexa " change his mind about what "

Alexa walks in on our conversation unexpectedly but it's perfect timing.

Hayden " He needs a girlfriend "

Alexa " No he doesn't "

Justin " Thank you "

Hayden " it should be Casey "

Alexa " You sound crazy but wait does he even like her "

Justin " no I don't what even brought this up dude "

Hayden " I have a girlfriend,Spencer has a girlfriend and I'm pretty sure Zach has one too so let's not leave you hanging "

Justin " one date only "

Hayden " great I won't disappoint "

Justin " okay dude "

At that point I noticed that Alex had lost focus of the conversation. Her hand was rested on my shoulder but she wasn't saying anything I wanted to talk to her but Justin beat me to it.

Justin " You okay Alex ? "

Alexa " Yeah I'm good I'll talk to Casey about the date "

Justin " Let's make it a double date "

Alexa " I don't know Justin maybe see you later "

Justin " bye I'll see you later "

She walked out of the classroom after her awkward conversation with Justin but a double date might actually be a good idea after all .

Alexa's POV

My morning turned bitter after Hayden told me the idea of Justin and Casey dating don't get me wrong I'm not jealous or anything but that girl is a witch but I'll put in a good word for him.

Alexa " Hey Casey "

Casey " Hey Alexa what's up "

Alexa " Got any plans tomorrow "

Casey " no why ? "

Alexa " word on the street is that a special guy wants to take you out tomorrow night "

Casey " wait for real is it Justin ? "

Alexa " Yes it's him "

Casey " sure I'd love to "

Alexa " great I'll send you the details " 

I say in the most fake happy voice I can form.
School ended as fast as I needed it to I was a bit stressed out today and it got way worst when I got home.

My dad called for me as soon as I came back I wondered if I was in trouble.

Alexa " Hey dad what's the problem? "

Dad " there's a retirement party today for my boss and I liked if you attended "

Alexa " like a Gala "

Dad " No Alexa this isn't Hollywood "

Alexa " oh "

Dad " your mother,zoey and i will be attending alongside you and the babysitter will be hear for kenan and kel "

Alexa " I'll be on my best behavior "

Dad " it's exclusive so wear something elegant "

Alexa " sure thing dad "

I smile and head to my room I already know I'm gonna wear black it's my go to color.

At 8:00 we were off to the gala and we all wore black we looked high class and I loved it.

A lot of elite people came it was a gorgeous highly decorated hall . Things were going well until my dad started having his army conversations and left me behind. I only got drawn back in the conversation after I hear a familiar name.

Dad " Minister Foley it's always a pleasure to see you "

Mr.Foley " such flattery I'm no longer the minister you know "

Dad " you'll most certainly win again I see you came with your son "

Justin " Good evening Mr.watson "

Dad " Alexa's friend I see "

Alexa " what friend....Mr.Foley Good evening "

Mr.Foley " How many times have I told you that you can call me Alex,a stunning daughter you have Andre "

Dad " Thank you minister "

At that they drift into more mature matters leaving me and Justin alone.

Justin " You look amazing "

Alexa " Thanks you too I didn't know you were coming "

Justin " well I wanted to invite you but I came with Zach after constant persuasion "

I look around the hall and spot Zach having a very mature conversation with my dad from what it looked like.

Justin " he wants to join the military after school "

Alexa "wow that'd be amazing "

Justin " Yeah their all leaving too soon "

Alexa " what will you do after school "

Justin " probably minister kid shit that's what they call me "

Alexa " that's what they used to call you "

Justin " It is what it is oh and Casey spoke to me thanks for hooking me up "

Alexa " Your welcome "

Justin " even though I would have preferred someone else "

He smiles and walks away and deep down I know he meant me.
