I sit back and watch the ceiling for a while . The rest of the school day just passes like wind I didn't participate in any class activity the teachers were a bit surprised I guess my days of being a nerd in class were over .But Casey participated a lot though she was always smart.

After school I rush out planning to go home and rest before I receive a text from Hayden.

Hey Alex

Wanna Hang out after school

I reply

I can't I've had a long day

Please,it'll be fun

Sure I'm at the parking lot .

I put my phone in my pocket and wait for him to show up. He rides in front of me while pulling his window down he simply smiles at me I try and give him a half smile and get in the car I'm really not in the mood today.

Alexa " So where are we going "

Hayden " Into the unknown "

Alexa " What "

Hayden " It's a new restaurant that opened up with food from all over the country "

Alexa "we could've just gone to munchies you know "

Hayden " This'll be fun okay "

Alexa " Sure okay "

I say and lean my head on the seat breathing in and out merely frustrated by his presence I really don't know what's wrong with me today.

We arrive at the restaurant and it's pretty empty guess it doesn't have much popularity. He takes his hand in mine and walks me to the restaurant we get a table for two and sit I was too pissed to even look around so I just sat idlely but the place was pretty fancy .

Hayden " gonna order anything babe "

Alexa " Whatever your having "

Hayden " Are you okay "

Alexa " I'm Great "

Hayden " No your not I saw the half smile you gave me at the parking lot "

Alexa " I said I'm great "

Hayden " Alex... "

He said trying to reach for my hand but I move further away .

Alexa " Let it be "

I sense he's hurt but I don't care right now . He tells the waiter that everything will be to go we didn't order much it was just pot roast .

Moments later the waiter is back with the to go bags Hayden pays him and he walks out of the restaurant I follow behind and enter the car too eagerly waiting for the ride to end. We sat in absolute silence throughout the ride untill we arrived at my house he hands me one bag all without looking at me so I decide to be the bigger person al though I started it to begin with.

Alexa " Hayden "

Hayden " Yeah "

I'm confused on what to say so I just roll with it.

Alexa " Thanks for the ride "

Hayden " No problem "

I move a bit and place a kiss on his cheek. But he didn't move an inch he only turned to look at me.

Hayden " What the hell was that at the restaurant "

Alexa " I'm just moody "

Hayden " that's why you moved away from me "

Alexa " don't take it to heart "

Hayden " You need your time it's okay "

Alexa " Hayden..."

And he immediately cuts me off.

Hayden " I'll see you at school tomorrow "

I immediately leave feeling awfully sad I walk up to my room and fell on my bed faced down i wish my brother was here he'd know what to do.

I begin to cry not knowing why I guess it's just one of those off days.

I hear my phone ring but I try to decline it instead I accept the person didn't speak I only notice I accepted it after I heard his voice .

Justin " Alex are you crying "

Justin I yell and try to clean my eyes before raising my phone to my face.

Alexa " Hey Justin "

Justin " Alex what's wrong "

Alexa " I don't know Justin "

Justin " should I come over "

Alexa " Yeah sure "

I hang up and continue my sobbing. A few minutes later I hear my sister zoey shouting for me .

Zoey " Kailey and your boyfriend are here for you "

Alexa " Send them up "

Luckily my dad wasn't home so there wasn't too much drama I don't even argue when she mistakes Justin for my boyfriend but I wonder what kailey is doing here though.

They later enter my room and yeah I look like a total mess. Kailey immediately rushes to me and gives me a hug.

Kailey " What is wrong with you "

Alexa " Mood swings "

Kailey " Hayden told me "

Alexa " Yeah "

Kailey " He said you walked out on the big date he planned "

Alexa " Big date I had no idea "

Justin " Don't tell me that Casey girl got you like this "

Alexa " Don't do anything crazy "

Justin " come on Alex "

Kailey " It's a girl thing "

Justin " Brief me on it Holland "

After that they begin to argue on what's wrong with me but I cut them off with a scream.

Alexa " Stop it !! I'm scared okay I don't want her spreading rumours again I can still remember how alone I felt that day nobody was with me nobody believed me but Spencer I don't want that feeling again "

Justin " Alex that'll never happen again we've gone through a lot we just survived a fire"

Kailey " Yeah a few rumours will never break our bond again "

Alexa " Thanks guys "

I say and give kailey a hug and smile at Justin I stand and stare at him for a while .

Justin " Alright come here "

He says and pulls me into a hug a weird one too cos I could sense some feels.

I let go and lead them outside .

I see Hayden in the car waiting for Justin he walks out of the car and walks up right in front of me.

I get so emotional and I immediately hug him slightly tugging at his shirt with my neck.
I raised my face to look at him and to my greatest surprise he was smiling like seriously smiling and I stare at him a bit confused but he only says one word .

" God Alex "
