The Worry
Damian sat on Dick's bed covered in a bulletproof blanket. It also helped that he was cold to. He looked up at Dick was was packing his things frantically. Dick glanced at Damian who had the blanket wrapped around his head and body. Dick wanted him to were it in case if there were shots fired in the manor. Heck he was 9 and had a lot to live for. Dick sighed as he looked at the three bags in front of him. One of them was his the other two was Margret's and Damian's. He was in charge of all the things that the two youngest and himself would need including shirts, Pants, underclothing, bathroom products, and things to help them out if they were attacked. Heck he even included books, Sketch pad and art tools for Damian, I pads with games on them, and even a pack of cards. So they will be entertained were ever they are going. Dick smiled as he looked behind him to see Margret hiding under her Bulletproof blanket playing with her Doll she got from Bruce last Christmas. He started to study each of them.
Margret's long blonde hair was pulled back into a braid. Her evergreen forest eyes were filled with joy as she played. Her blanket was red as it was wrapped around her as she laid on her stomach being content.
Her doll was a small plastic one. With smooth black hair and blue eyes. It had on a white shirt along with purple overalls. It also had black shinny shoes.
He was glad that Margret was starting to be a girly girl. She had learned she is allowed to and had started to enjoy it but she still hated dresses and make up and all but she would play with dolls and girl toys. She even planned a tea party for later that day. Well she is 7 of course. So the boys just simply nodded and accepted the invitation she made for them.
He then looked at Damian who was starting at Margret. His black hair was sticking out of the blanket. His blue eyes filled with rage, fear, and worry. His blanket was black and he wasn't doing anything. Dick sighed as he sat on his bed next to Damian and wrapped his arms around him and rested his check on Damian's head. Damian leaned into it and Dick smiled. He was really worried for his siblings. They were to young to have to go through this and it worried him. There was a knock at the door and the door opened to revile Bruce.
"Daddy!" Margret yelled at him. She stood up and wrapped the blanket around her and ran towards him. He smiled and bent down and lifted her up.
"Are you being good for Dick and Damian?" Bruce asked hugging his Daughter. He had loved all his kids and was afraid that they were going to get hurt. He loved how they all got along most of the time. Margret nodded and hugged Bruce.
"What do you say we find Tim and Jason. Alfred will get your bags for you." Bruce said. Dick stood up and picked up Damian before following Bruce out the door.
