Chapter One: Too Much That Time Could Not Erase.
My name is Chloe, I'm sixteen years old & by the time I was just fourteen, I was diagnosed with cancer.
My life wasn't always feeling lifeless, hopeless, depressed, and vulnerable. I would actually wake up with happiness, wanting to know what the day had in store for me, but now, I don't even care if I get run over by a bus. What did I ever do to deserve this? Why? I never did anything to hurt anyone, not even a single fly.
I would help those in needs, those who didn't have any sort of shelter. If I would see any type of animal abandoned, I would be sure to take it to an animal shelter. I'd do community work, go to church, I was practically an angel.
But why would an angel be cursed with such a horrible illness? I will never forget the day the doctor had to break the news to myself and to my family. The look on their faces, such pain. I couldn't do nothing but cry. Cancer not only made me feel vulnerable, but it also made me quite what I loved doing, playing sports. I was in basketball, softball, & volleyball, now I can't do anything of that. Even sometimes when I play the piano, my fingers feel this excruciating pain. I couldn't bare no longer, I quite piano. As for the cello and the harp.
I knew shortly my hair would start to fall, my life would begin to be counted down. Wait, but don't some people actually fight cancer? Yes, yes they do, but I could sense that I'm going to lose this battle.
