Ok now for the opinion

I don't really care if someone doesn't like a group or soloist I like ok, like I can't influence their opinion or force them to like the group or soloist.

Like some of my irl friends have tried to get me into groups I don't know or don't want to stan, and what happens usually is I don't want to or that I'll check them out, but after I still dont like them or feel like stanning them and they stop and don't keep doing it.

But what I've seen online is that people try to pressure others into liking a group because they are that persons fave or something like that.

An example of a situation is like a person tells someone to stan (for this example I'm going to use this group) Red Velvet and keeps sending them vids of their MVs, variety shows , and Crack Vids of them and telling them things like "stan them you won't regret it" or "you HAVE to stan them" things like that.

You can't force someone to like something or someone. Ok.

It's like those people who are like "stan *insert group/soloist name here*".
Those people who spam links to vids of an artist(s) you don't like or don't stan in a group chat or private chat.

In contrast, People who tell me like "Oh this group/soloist is cool you should check them out sometime" and don't pressure me to check them out right away or bother me trying to show me videos of them are people I can deal with and possibly have as a friend.
The only exceptions for this type of situation that I can accept are if  person gives me a suggestion (singular meaning one) for a song to check out in the moment they are talking or if I ask the person "what's a good song from them?" Then I'll find out the rest and if I like them or not. This goes the same for other people as well.
