"The institute of biological science just released more information about the-" Before the news caster finished what she was talking about I turned off the tv.

"Mina?" A few seconds later my assistant walks into the room.
"Yes Mr.Seo?"
"When's my appointment to meet the hybrid?"
"Uhm...." She pulls out her phone tapping a few times before answering "Tomorrow at...12:30!". She has slight enthusiasm in her voice.
"Good..."I look at the black tv screen wondering what the hybrid would look like, act like, & just how it would be with an hybrid around. "You are dismissed" I say pulling out my phone looking down at my reflection on the screen before turning it on.

(Next day 9:45)
"My head hurts...." I groan before getting up and walking to my bathroom. "Bed hair..." I stare into the mirror messing with my hair a little before grabbing my toothbrush and proceeding my morning routine.
I walk into my closet looking for some clothes I can wear out not to classy but not...sweatpants. I decide on a black sweater with black skinny jeans. Leaving my room I proceed to the kitchen where my breakfast was already made.

(12:00)
Walking out the house with Mina I head over to the stretch limo, (A/N: just because I like being extra) and Namjoon opens the door for me. About ten (A/N: NCT I'll stop..) minutes later Mina tries to make small talk about how in doing in the industries. For the most part I nod and hum answers. Another ten minutes later we are at the house I'm supposed to get the hybrid from. I knock on the door, I was expecting a maid to open the door so I was a bit confused when a rich looking Man opened the door.
"Hello you- Who are you?" He said eyeing me up and down
"I'm Seo Changbin the person that came for the hybrid." I'm pissed but I don't let it show through my voice.
"Oh I was expecting you to wear a suit or something.."
"Oh well" I say as he leads me in and over to the living room couch.
"I will go get him..By the way...I'm Mr.Wang" He says I nodded and he disappeared down a dimmed hallway. I waited there for a solid minute before I heard faint whimpering down that hallway accompanied by two pairs of footsteps. I see Mr.Wang walking into the living room with a whimpering cat hybrid. He has a few bruises and scratches here and there but not beat up badly. Mr. Wang looks at the hybrid and it scurries over to the couch that's across the coffee table from the one I'm sitting on. He looks afraid, he looks like he wants to cry. I could feel my stare soften as I looked at the hybrid. "His name is Felix." Wang said

(Two hours later)
"Thank you for your investment once again Mr.Seo!" Mr.Wang said as he shook my hand and put a collar around the Felix's neck and attached a leash handing me the end of it. I looked up at the Felix who was looking down at his feet I felt bad. "Make sure you get good use outta that one..he is a good pet..." Wang said with a wink before looking at Felix. When he said that I saw a tear come down from Felix's cheek my hand clenched into a fist I had no idea why it did though. "Well goodbye now" I said barley controlling the anger in my voice. I walked out to the front to the limo and got in Felix sat next to me and I unbuckled the collar and he looked up at me.

"Why...?" He asked me his voice cracked as he looked up at me then immediately looking down at his lap.
"Because no human deserves to be treated like a thing..or half human I should say." I say making him look at me in eye to eye. I felt something then, I have no idea what it is. But I'm okay with it.
