BamBam took a few steps away from me and then in front. "Maddie you should get out of here, I'll see you tomorrow" he said. I nodded and did as he said. "Oh don't forget what I said" he added quietly. I replied with a I won't and left quietly. I got home and my mom ran up to me hugging me tight. We stay like that for a few seconds then she says, "Where have you been, I've been so worried about you." "I'm sorry I didn't mean to scare you, I most have fallen asleep at the tree so I just went to school when I woke up." I replied. She looked at me with tears in her eyes. "Promise me you'll be more careful please" she said in a worried tone. I node and set my stuff on the counter. "Have you ate yet?" I asked. She replied with a no so I grab some stuff from the refrigerator and start making a salad.
"You have to start taking care of yourself more, I worry about you. Since dad left you haven't been the same." She walks over to me and just hugs me. Mom doesn't really talk or leave her room anymore. Dad left us freshman year for some younger lady, it really hurt mom. She tried killing herself while I was asleep at night for the first 4 months. The spot I go to is the last place we seen dad. I try to get mom to go but she always just closes the door in my face. I try my best to take care of her.
"Did you have a good day?" I asked as I looked at her. She shook her head no and took a bowl from the shelf and put some food in it. I looked at the floor in sadness and tried not to tear up. That is until she walks over to me and lefts up my head and wipe my eyes. "It's okay to cry baby, you don't have to act strong for me." She said. All I could do was just hug her tight. "I love you mom" I replied and went made myself a bowl of salad.
We finished dinner and I cleaned up the kitchen while mom went to her room. When I was done I looked at the time and it was just barely 6 so, I went and knocked on my mom's door. I opened the door slightly and peeked my head in. "Mom are you awake?" I asked. She node's her head a little and I go sit on the end of her bed. "I have to do a project with someone in my class we were going to meet up at his house. Will you be okay by yourself for a few hours?" I tell her.
She looks at me and sits up. "Please don't go, please don't leave me." She says with tears in her eyes. I hug her and reply with a I won't. A few minutes of hugging I look at her and then the bathroom giving her a sign that she needs a shower. She nodes and gets up grabbing her some clothes and walking to the bathroom.
I walk out of the room and into the kitchen. When I get to the end of the hallway I hear what sounds like footsteps. I remembered my phone is on the counter by the sink so I quietly peeked my head around the corner. "Who are you trying to hide from." a voice says.
   I turn my head the other way and see a tall shadow looking man in the kitchen entrance. I jump out from the hallway in front of him and say "who are you? I know how to fight." The man giggles a little then starts walking towards me.
"I'm warning you mister I'll hit you." I yell. "Claim down, I'm not going to hurt my own child." he says stepping into the light. With a blank face I just look at him. He walks a little closer and that's when I hear mom screaming. I quickly run to her room and see her on the floor. There's two men standing next to her.
    "Don't worry mom I'll save you." I say getting ready to fight them. As I go to take a step at one the man from the kitchen pats my back. "They aren't going to hurt mommy don't worry princess." Mom looks up at the man and tears start to fall down her face. I quickly run over to her and hug her tightly kicking the two guys away from her.
As we stand I look at the man. "What do you want from us." I snapped at him. He walks up to us and I gently pushed mom behind me. Once he got in arm reach I slapped him as hard as I could. "You left us for someone else. You made mom so depressed she tried to kill herself for 4 months while I slept. You don't have any right to be here." I yelled at him.
I guess he didn't like what I said because, he slapped me making me fall. Mom jumped backwards scared he was going to hit her as well. He then bent down and grabbed my hair pulling it hard for me to stand up.  Once I stood up he told the two men to grab mom again. They did as they were told and started walking away with her.
