Today, Sept. 16, 2018, I came out to my parents as transgender. It was the most nervewracking thing ever, but it lifted a huge weight off of my shoulders. I showed them the song called I'm Trans, and they both were very positive. My mom asked me a few questions and both my mom and dad said they love no matter who I am. I'm going by any pronoun at the moment to help my parents get used to the fact I'm trans and to slowly ease into the male pronouns.
