I'm going to discuss lesbian erasure or lgbtq+ erasure in general. Lgbtq+ erasure is headcanning an lgbtq+ member as straight or as something in community they are not. A good example of this is lesbian erasure, especially Adora from She-Ra and the princesses of power. People ship Adora and Bow or headcannon Adora as bi or pan. When you do that it's lesbian erasure because Adora is a cannon lesbian. Let the lesbians have their representation. There are situations where you can headcannon characters as bi,pan, gay etc. This is fine if the character doesn't have a confirmed sexuality. When you headcannon you should probably make sure it still fits in the universe.
