Kanan's POV

"Please doctor just one chance", i beg but doctor refuses to even listen

"No Kanan, i can't give you this permission.... Its been more than 2 yrs....and by the way why are you hell bound for second chance for that girl....do you know her?", doctor asks

I stay silent, if i tell him that i know kavya, then he wont surely let me operate on her because doctor should never think with their heart.
So i decide to lie

"Doctor Kavya's case is similar to a friend of mine who died few years ago, i could not save my friend but i dont want to let this girl also die", i try hard to convince dad

"Daddy please, give kanan a chance, just a month please!!", vinnie too helps me

"Kanan, that patient have zero brain activity, and a patient having zero brain activity cannot be operated....you know that....how will you make her brain show minimum required activity?", doctor enquires

"Doctor just one month, that all i am asking for", i reply

"Ok, but you will also have to handle Amar and Pranjal", doctor replies

"Sure doctor, i will handle all three of them, and i wont give you any chance to complain", i reply

"Ummm...ok....but you will get only one month for kavya", doctor replies

"Surely...just one request....i dont want kavya's family to know that i am going to treat her", i speak

"But why kanan?", doctor asks confused

"Because, i dont want to interact with them because i dont want them to get familiar with me and then start building any hope", i lie because i cant tell him that i know kavya and what she means to me

"Ok kanan as you wish", with than doctor leaves while vinnie hugs me with excitment

"Yay!!...we finally found your juliet!!...K i am soo happy for you!", vinnie speaks happily

"Thanks V...its the best day of my life", i reply happily

"Nah, your life's second best day!...first best will be when kavya will open her eyes!!", vinnie replies smiling

"Yeah....you are right!", i reply

"But K you will have to work for 16-17 hrs per day....as you have to handle 3 patient", vinnie replies a bit worried

"Its ok V...i will love to stay here....close to kavya", i reply smiling at vinnie

"Ok K!!...now as a treat i want Chocolate milk shake !", vinnie jumps happily

"Ok....come", i reply dragging her to the food counter present at 5th floor of the hospital.

We reach the 5th floor and get seated on one of the table, a waiter comes to our side and asks for orders

"One chocolate milkshake for me!", vinnie speaks

"One vanilla milkshake for me", i speak

Waiter notes the orders and then leaves our table

"K you like vanilla flavour?", vinnie asks eagerly

"No V, its kavya's favorite flavour", i reply

"Ooooo.....you are total Romeo!!", vinnie teases me

"By the way vinnie may i ask you something?", i ask vinnie who smiles

"Yeah.... Go ahead", vinnie answers

"Why are you helping me?...i mean you dont even know me and kavya properly", i ask curiously

"Well kanan......i.....", vinnie doea not reply properly

"Speak", i answer

"Well, kanan....i want to help you guys because..... I want to see you and kavya kissing each other....i have never seen anybody kissing in real life", vinnie jokes while i look at her disgusted

"You are gone nuts", i answers while vinnie starts to laugh

"Well kanan, its just that my mom and dad got separated by divorce, due to few personal matters......my parents had arranged marriage and they never loved each other........i too had breakup 3 months ago........my bf cheated on me with my friend....... So its just that just sooo much admire you and kavya.....you guys are truely meant for each other.....and i want to help you guys reunite in every ppssible way that i can help", vinnie replies while i nod softly

"Thanks V",  i reply

"You are always welcome K!!!!",  vinnie ruffles my hair softly
