Sid gulped his saliva and rubbed the back of his neck in embarrassment.

Sid: Umm I am sorry I didn't....

Before he could speak anything, Avu ran away crying.

Sid: Avneet. Avneet ruko na. I am sorry

He ran behind her but then came back and put everything back in shopping bag. Then he ran behind her. She was standing outside mall waiting for the cab. She was not able to stop her tears because of embarrassment.

Sid: Avneet listen I am really sorry. It's just umm I don't know...

Avu cut him by showing her palm.

Sid: Mujhe nhi pata tha uss shopping bag mein kya hai. I am sorry maine jaan booj kar nhi kia

Avu: To? Mana kia tha na. Bola tha na ki nhi batana mujhe kya hai. Lekin nhi tumne to kasam khai hai ki kisi ki baat sunni hi nhi hai

Sid: I understand galati ho gayi. Meri aesi koi intention nhi thi

Avu: Oh seriously? Nhi thi intention lekin tum aese kisika samaan to nhi chheen sakte na. Aur mein tumhari friend nhi hu Siddharth. Aur aaj ke baad tum mujhse baat karne ki koshish bhi matt karna. Mujhe tumhari shakal bhi nhi dekhni. Aur agar koi kisi kaam se mana kare to sun lena chahie

Her cab came and she was about to sit.

Sid: Avneet

Avu didn't look back and sat inside.

Sid: Okk fine tumhara samaan to le jaoo

He kept the bag inside and closed the door.

Sid: I am sorry again

He said looking down.

Avu: Bhayia chalo

Driver started the car and left. Sid sighed and hit the stone in anger.

Sid: Ouch!! Fuck!!! Meri hi kismat itni kharab kyu hai? Khair mujhe kya? Mujhe usse lena dena hi kya hai? Waise bhi mujhe achhi nhi lagti nhi maanti to maane. Baad mein jae

He said more like making himself understand. He put his hand inside the pocket and felt a key. He took it out.

Sid: Lo ab iske chakkar mein cab par firse paise lagane padenge. Bike to mein laya nhi

He booked a cab and went to college. Abhi was waiting for him in parking. He was scrolling his phone.

Abhi: Dekhli movie?

He said without looking up from phone.

Sid: Hmm

He said looking down. Abhi looked at him and kept his phone in pocket. He went near Sid. He kept hand on his shoulder.

Abhi: Kya hua Ashu? Sab theek hai na beta? Koi problem hai kya?

Sid: Hnn bhai bass thoda thakk gya hu

Abhi: Umm okk. Movie achhi thi

Sid: Hnji

He said fake smiling which Abhi caught without any doubt but didn't force him.

Abhi: Chal chalte hai. Mein zarra Jai ko bye boldoo

Sid: Okk

Abhi went towards Jaineet.

Jai: Itna time lag gya. Aesa kya kar rahi thi

Avu: Wo bass thoda time lag gya

Jai: Tera mood kyu off lag raha hai? Sab theek hai na? Kuch hua to nhi?

Avu shooked her head.

Jai: Chal chalte hai ghar

Abhi: Jai

Jai looked behind.

Jai: Hnn bhai

Abhi: Mein chalta hu

Jai: Chal theek hai. Bye. Take care

Abhi: Hnn cya tomorrow

They did a bro hug and Abhi went towards Sid.

Abhi: Bike to teri yahi thi Ashu. Tu kaise gya?

Sid: Wo mein cab se chala gya tha keys nhi mil rhi thi. Mujhe laga show start na ho jae

Abhi: To bina keys ke ghar kaise jana?

Sid: Wo bag mein hi thi baad mein mil gayi thi

Abhi: Achha?

He asked doubting a bit.

Abhi: Chale ghar chale. Mom wait kar rahe honge

Abhi put on his helmet and started his bike. Sid was about to put on his helmet when he saw Jaineet moving out of parking. Avu looked at and then turned her face away. Sid sighed sadly.

Abhi: Ashu jaana nhi kya?

Sid also put on his helmet and left with Abhi.
