Why am I feeling so tensed??

She is not related to me, infact not even a friend to me.

Her words kept on repeating in my mind.

if u care for someone then that doesn't mean one should be related to u. U see sometimes our own blood doesn't support us but others help us out to live our life in this world

What's happening to me??

I am just worried because she is an innocent girl and this world is cruel, that's all.

Is she in any sort of problem?

I looked at Akash who was pacing here and there holding his phone.

I don't even have her number!!

Kavitha came and stood next to me.

Kav " see I told u na this Kushi has wrapped our Akash sir in her magic. Come on, she might have taken leave or went somewhere, what's the need for him to stop his work and search for her? "

She rolled her eyes.

Even I would have believed if it was someone else but the Kushi I know from these three days she is clumsy but not irresponsible.

Akash came near to us, he was quite relaxed after the recent call but his eyes focussed on Kavitha.

Ak " cancel all my meetings for today"

He stopped her.

Ak " I didn't ask your opinion and tomorrow we have an important meeting, give the file to Arnav and help him if he needs any information, u can leave now"

She went not before giving me a wink.

Even I heard from Kushi that tomorrow's meeting is really an important one but why is he giving that to me then?

He turned towards me.

Ak " it will be ur first meeting and presentation Arnav, so I want u to give ur best. Keep ur attitude aside and prepare well, I am trusting u "

I didn't like the way he commanded. No one talks to this ASR like that.

But I know he has trusted me with this important one so I will give my best.

I just nodded.

He was about to leave but I stopped him.

A " hmm... did u get to know about her? "

Ak " yeah... She has met with an accident, not a major one it seems but still I need to be with her. So I am going to hospital "

This girl should get an award for her clumsiness.

I gulped seeing Akash bhai's glare.

K " bhai, u should thank Devimayya that it was not a major one. "

A " y can't u be serious Kushi? What if it was major? "

K " only a small scratch on my right and left hand (he glared me) OK even my right leg is twisted, that's all "

This is all because of that guy. Don't know why they will drive if they don't know the speed limit.

He didn't even helped me nor spared a look towards me.

Some ppl brought me to hospital.
I swear if I see that guy again I will surely teach him the lesson.

A " why didn't u call me?? U know I was so much worried. I was about to call dad and ask to contact police "

My eyes brimmed seeing his care for me.

I don't know who was that guy but I can identify him and I am damn sure he was some rich spoilt brat.

K " it was a mistake bhai, now I am fine, don't worry"

He nodded.

K " u had two meetings today why r u still here?? "

A " how can I attend knowning u r in hospital? I have canceled that, I can reschedule that later and about tomorrow's meeting I have given work to Arnav "

K " I can do it bhai, don't worry. It's almost done only a final touch is remaining in that file. "

Ak " let him also do some work, u r taking rest for a week"

A week??

I was about to open my mouth but he glared me.

I was going through that file but I didn't understand a single thing.

How can this Akash give me this big file and ask me to complete. I am not getting from where to start.

I will ask help from that Kavitha.

I entered her cabin and saw she was playing games in her phone.

Kavitha " wow!! What made u to come near me "

I passed her that file.

A " can u explain me in brief, u know its quite difficult to start to read from first."

Kav" that's all, oh come on Arnav it's really easy. I will help u out "

I nodded.

Kav " did u have lunch?? "

A " No"

Kav " let's have lunch"

After an hour....

I rolled my eyes seeing her checking her devil face in that mirror again and again.

I looked at the time it's already late.

Kav " Arnav, let's start now"

She opened the file and started to read.

I looked at my phone and messaged Di whether she had lunch.

After an hour.....

I lookd at her and file.

She is still in first page??

A " what the??"

K " we should learn everything in detail Arnav then only we can do it "

Unbelievable!!

How can I trust someone like her??

I lost my time thinking she is going through that but she is still in the first page??

When will I read and make notes, above that I should prepare for presentation.

If she didn't agree then I would have atleast completed half by now.

I snatched the file from her.

A " I will only do it, don't take trouble "

I glared her but this girl smileddddd????

Is she gone mad?

Kavitha " I know Arnav u r so sweet, u don't want me to take trouble so only u want to do it alone right"

End of flashback....

I have hardly completed half and still so much is pending!!

And even I don't know about Kushi, I am slightly worried about her.

I looked around the flat and felt emptiness.

I was whining that I didn't get flat all for myself but today I am expecting her presence. I am really tired to think about all these things.

I heard calling bell sound.

I opened the door only to see Akash supporting Kushi.

Though I am worried for her, but seeing her with him irritated me.

He made her sit on the sofa and went to kitchen as if I am not existing here.

She looked at me and smiled which made me to smile automatically.

K " Hii "

I just nodded and looked at the scratches on her hands and near her right ankle is bandaged.

I sighed.

A " how r u?? "

K " what will happen to me!! I am super fine "

Only she can speak like this.

Ak " yes, u r really fine so only doctor has asked u to take one week bed rest"

She pouted while he handed her water.

K " I can work and I.. "

Ak " u r not coming to office for a week, if u argue I will say about ur today's adventure to Papa, choice is urs "

She is close to uncle also?

Kushi smiled sheepishly and agreed.

He turned towards me.

Ak " so how is ur first project going on?? "

A " It's going well"

Ak " don't disappoint me Arnav, tomorrow's meeting is really important "

He was really serious and I gulped.

First time I am feeling I didn't handle it properly.

But still I nodded.

Today whole night I will try to do it.

He side hugged Kushi and started to move towards the front door.

Even I went to close the door but he stopped and whispered.

Ak " Arnav, she is fine but still it hurts for her to walk, if u can then do help her. I was taking her to my mansion only but she argued to come to this flat. Even I didn't force more as Papa will be worried seeing her in this state. So take care of her please "

Worry was clear in his voice.

I have never taken care of anyone not even Di, infact others used to take care of me.

But suddenly I felt the need to protect her, care for her.

I nodded and he smiled, a genuine one I might add.

I closed the door and looked at her who was sleeping on the sofa uncomfortably. I carried her carefully and placed her on the bed in her room.

Looking at her innocence face the tension I was facing earlier reduced.
