"Bulimia isn't a long-haired.  pretty girl bending over a toilet.  with a tragically beautiful face. on. Its a puffed, miserable face dripping with vomit and terrible nosebleeds.

Anorexia isn't a slim figure shyly refusing a cupcake. Its hair growing all over a malnourished body.

Depression isn't a model with running mascara staring into the sunset. Its staring at the ceiling with burning eyes at 4 am because you can't find the motivation to close them.

Self harm/self hate is not a lovely boy kissing your arms and telling you that you're  beautiful. Its nasty scars that will be there forever and showers that sting.

Panic attacks arent burying your face in your lover's chest and them telling you that it will be okay. Its feeling like you're out of control and oxygen has been snatched from you.

Mental illnesses arent beautiful. They dont make you special and they dont make people suddenly care about you. They are monsters that destroy lives. So stop taking them lightly and promoting them to immpressionable teenagers all over the dam Internet."

EffervescentHeroes thank you for putting this in your book. Who ever is reading this just know that this person EffervescentHeroes saw it online and wanted this to be shared cause she believed it to be true. And she herself said it isn't a sign of hate towards theses people. Its just to show that people need to see it as it actually is. And she posted it in her book asking to support so im trying to do that. And well the poem is my own as all the previous ones. So here you go. This is my first update in 2017.
