When (Name) was barely a year old, their parents passed away in a tragic accident. In the end, the child was given to the closest family member that could afford to take them in, her uncles, Devon and Andrew. Ava, in a way, gained a younger sibling. And despite the 16-17 year difference, she loved (name) dearly and would do anything to protect them and see them live happily.

After high school, Ava had moved out to live own with her cat Johnny. (Name), meanwhile, had to stay with their dads/uncles. But, one summer, Devon and Andrew were growing busy thanks to Andrew's campaign and currently didn't have enough time as they used to to watch over (name). So, they asked if Ava could take care of them until after the city council election. It would only be for a few months, what was the harm? Ava agreed, much to (name)'s content.

But what will happen when five strange men suddenly barge into their lives? How will they handle dealing with not only one human, but a human child, too? And what do they have planned for them in their mission? And what is this strange energy they sense coming from the youngling?

Okay! Welcome to the rewrite of Nothing But A Mere Child! I am very excited to be writing on this book again, and this time with ✨upgrades✨. This time around, (Y/n) is gender neutral. I'm deeply sorry to those who didn't feel as seen when I made them strictly female. I am just used to writing women protagonists, I hope to be more inclusive as I continue writing.

Speaking of, I will be drawing (y/n) in both gender clothing and appearances when I want to show some illustrations. (If there are no pictures in the published chapters, there will be a "[Picture Input Coming Soon]" stationed in between the paragraphs until I can put them in.) All I ask is that any opinion about your preferences is kept to yourselves, unless it's a request to feel more included in this book.

And one more thing. When I do draw (y/n), they will have a monochrome color palette, but that doesn't mean that that's what you look like. It's just a way for me to draw you without being a white bald person out of place in the setting. You can still choose your eye color, hair color and length, skin tone and much more. Oh, and (y/n) is like, six years old in this book now.

The chapters' length will also vary, depending on the episodes' comparing run time and how creative I can get with the time spaces.
