When you decide to quit, don't think of the upcoming journey, think of the path you've come. Think of the effort you've put before. Giving up is a choice. But make it your last choice not the only choice.

It was half-past midnight when Shivaay woke up startled hearing shouts and voices from outside of the apartment. When he got up, Anika who was sleeping on top of him also got up.

'What's that noise?? Shouldn't people be sleeping at this hour??? Why are they making noise like this???', he asked shockingly.

'Shivaay, these people are celebrating the fact that the great Shivaay Singh Oberoi is staying here in an apartment!', Anika said sarcastically.

'Really??? Like seriously???', Shivaay asked disbelievingly.

'Shivaay!!! You don't like it when I call you cute but when you behave like this, I seriously find you super cute! I mean you literally believed what I told you! I was just teasing you!', she said while pinching his cheeks.

'Hey... stop that and tell me.. what's with the noises?', he asked her in a very serious tone.

'Exams finished today!', she exclaimed.

'So???', he asked confusedly.

'So.. they are celebrating it and most of them living in this apartment are students. So that's how we celebrate it. You've never done this?', she asked him back.

'This kind of madness??? No!!! Never... and where I used to study, we celebrate it in a very decent manner instead of shouting and screaming like this in the middle of the night!', he commented irritatedly.

Anika gave him a 'really' look and shook her head disbelivingly.

'Tadibaaz! You've never tried this, then how will you know how much of fun is this? Huh? Come with me!', she said as she got up from the bed and pulled him along with her to the balcony. Shivaay followed her disinterestedly.

When they reached the balcony, Shivaay was shocked at the view. Students were flashing their phone's flashlights from the opposite apartment to this apartment and those from here did the same as well. And there were some paper lanterns being lit up here and there. The sky was nearly full of those lanterns that were filled with scribbles and writings and wishes.

'Happy holiday everyone!!!', Anika shouted out as she waved her flashlight.

Her wish was immediately replied with loads of thank you and same to you and people also flashed the flashlight towards her. Shivaay smiled at this.

'It's nice right?', she asked him.

He nodded in agreement.

'Do you want to try it?', she asked as she handed over the mobile phone to him.

'But want can I say?', he asked all blurred.

'Just say a wish or anything and people will reply you back!!!', she insisted him.

'Okay then!', Shivaay thinks of something to say out.

'I LOVE YOU ANIKA!!!', he shouted out making her all embarrassed and blushy.

People began hooting and whistling upon the confession they had just heard.

'I thought people will reply, why isn't there any response yet??', he teasingly asked.

'I LOVE YOU TOO SHIVAAY!!!', Anika screamed at the top of her voice.

They both looked at each other and hugged each other smilingly in a playful manner. People began to go crazy when they heard that and congratulations flooded their ears for some time that followed. Then, another guy confessed his feelings from the opposite apartment. Right after a few seconds, the girl to whom he had confessed also accepted that she loves him back. And this went on.

'Looks like I've set a new trend!', Shivaay said proudly.

'Well, looks like it!', Anika replied as she buried into his chest in the side hug. Then a thought hit Anika and she broke the hug with a little chuckle. Shivaay also chuckled upon finding her like that.

'Why??? What happened??? Why are you laughing???', he asked her.

'I'm laughing at the irony of the situation! (Shivaay looked at her all blurred and being unable to catch what she had just said) Just a little while ago you said this is very indecent and stupid manner to celebrate and now you're proud that you started a new trend in this! Hahaha!', Anika exclaimed as she burst into laughters.

'Alright! I guess we've laughed a lot already! Let's hit the bed now! I'm really sleepy!', Shivaay expressed and goes in while taking her hand in his to her bedroom. She followed smilingly.

Anika sleeps on the right side and turns away from them. He wasn't expecting her to suddenly stay away from him like this. She was the one to snuggle into him first and now she's staying away, maintaining distance. Shivaay thought to hell with distance and went closer to her.

He puts his hand around her waist. Anika smiled and took his hands in hers. Shivaay used his right hand to support his head and take a look at the blushing Anika.



'You're blushing Anika?', he asked her.

'We've spoken too much already! Let's sleep now!', she replied simply and closed her eyes.

Shivaay also did the same. His left hand was held close by her. So, he just slept next to her on the same pillow. Though it was a huge bed, both of them were stuck to each other just like the way a lizard sticks on the wall.

Morning sun rays entered Anika's room directly. Shivaay got up first and find her to be having disturbance in her sleep. Hence, he tossed her around to face him. She turned willingly half-way and snuggled into him. Shivaay tries to get up but failed as she was holding him close.

'Anika, my love! Wake up!', he whispered quite loudly.

'Don't want! I want to sleep like this! Like a log!', she replied and hugged him tighter.

'Okay love, but then I'll have to get up right?', he asked.

'There's no need for it! Who will be my huggy buggy then? Just sleep quietly Shivaay!', she urged him and enters into the dreamworld.

Shivaay could do nothing but sleepback as his lady love wasn't allowing him to wake up. After some time, Shivaay woke up again and couldn't find Anika there. He got up and starts looking for her. She was in the kitchen bringing some dishes to the dining table.

'Good morning!', she greeted very much enthusiastically.

'Breakfast is served, please go and brush your teeth, I've kept a new brush for you on the dressing table, go!', she instructed him while he complied.

When he got back after brushing his teeth, Anika had already set the table and was waiting for him.

'Come and eat!', she called him as she pulled out a chair for him.

Shivaay went and sat on the chair she had pulled for him and saw that there were so many dishes on the table. He got the shock of his life. He remebered the Aloo Poori she made for him once.

'Did you make all of this???', he asked her surprisedly.

'She and all of this??? Then it would be the end of the world Jiju!', Gauri replied as she brings another dish from the kitchen and to their surprise, Om was right behind her, bringing the coffee jug.
