Anika and Advaay walked hand-in-hand on the red carpet. Shivaay got a little nervous as they aproached him. He was mentally preparing himself to talk to her. She was looking so breathtakingly, khidkithod khoobsoorat after all. When they were near enough, Shivaay pulled his hand out and was about to say something when Anika and Advaay just walked past him as if he doesn't exist there. Shivaay's jaw dropped.

'She's still ignoring me???', he thought to himself.

'Don't turn right away, but your Sadu's face is worth looking at', said Gauri who came from the opposite side. Anika smiled and slowly turned to look at him. She got extremely happy to see him like that.

The launch event got started in a while. According to the seating arrangement, Anika was supposed to sit next to Shivaay. But she got Khanna to sit there and sat next to Advaay. Through out the show, Anika and Advay were talking to each other, whispering at times, she giggled, blushed and hit his hand at times.

This was driving Shivaay mad. Instead of focusing on the show, his entire focus was on Advaay and Anika. He was having a huge frown on his face. (Oh and I forgot to mention that Shivaay was also in white ;) ).

'Look at the way she's talking with him. Giggling and all! Wouldn't it be disturbing the people who came to watch my show. But, are they really couples?', he thought to himself.

Just then, Mallika walked up the ramp and everyone began cheering for her including Advaay and Anika. Shivaay was still looking at them. All of the sudden Advaay winked and passed a flying kiss to Mallika on the stage. She saw that and blushed. After a while, she got the attitude back and posed with a poise for the camera and walked away gracefully. And the launch comes to an end with that.

'Did he just winked and passed a flying kiss to her?? Then Anika??? Is he two-timing then??? What if Anika is serious about him??? I have to talk to her!', he thought again.

They then went to the party venue in the hotel's ballroom. Everyone congratulated Shivaay upon the success of the launch. There was a press conference done before the party was begun. In the conference, Shivaay gave equal credits to Anika and the entire team which shocked everyone to the core as Shivaay has never shared his success with anyone and always blamed everyone else for the failure.

'Good job Bhabhi! How did you manage to change him like this?', Om asked Anika.

'I also have no idea at all!', replied a shocked Anika.

Then the party was begun. Everyone began socializing to each other and the dance floor was open to everyone. Anika, Advaay, Mallika, Om and Gauri were at the same table talking about Shivaay. They were telling Anika on what to do next. She complies everything with a little hesitation. Just then, Shivaay came to the table and greeted everyone. All greeted back except for Anika. She ignored him and went off to the bar. Shivaay followed her there.

'Anika, I need to talk to you', he said.

'Just cancel the Orange juice!', she instructed and left to their table.

'She's showing attitude to me???', he exclaimed.

When Anika came back to the table, the song was changed. Gauri got excited as it was her favourite song. She began dancing freely there. Upon seeing her like that, Om brought her to the dancefloor. Anika, Mallika and Advaay cheered for them. Shivaay joined them and sat next to Anika. She immediately got up and asked Advaay for a dance. They both hit the dance floor then.

'Good going Anika! But don't you think you're overdoing it a little?', Advaay asked.

'I don't know. I'm just going with the flow!', she replied with a huge grin.

Shivaay was burning to see them together meanwhile Mallika there did her job to add on fuel to the fire the was burning in.

'Don't they look so cute together Shivaay?', she asked.

'Huh?? Hmm... don't you feel jealous to see them together??, he asked.

'No!!! Why would I??? They're both very good friend of mine. If they're happy together, i would be more than happy for them. Anika is such a nice girl. Beautiful, smart, intelligent, hot and sexy as well! Any guy would have fallen for her. Then what's the big deal with Advaay???', Mallika commented.

'She's much more than that!', Shivaay added while looking at the "couple's" dance. At least his doubt on Advaay was gone upon hearing Mallika's reply.

'But Shivaay, I noticed that Anika has been avoiding you the past two days. She even gets uncomfortable when we talk about you. Why is that? Any idea??', Mallika asked.

'How would I know???', he replied sternly.

'Khair! Why do I bother. I'm hitting the dance floor!', she exclaimed and went up to the dance floor. As soon as Mallika stepped-in, Anika left Advaay for her and was about to leave the dance floor when someone else grabbed her hand. Shivaay got worried for her. He went upto her to the dance floor.

'Hey beautiful, can I have a dance with you?', that man asked.Before she could respond, another voice was heard.

'I'm sorry Mr.Khuranna, I'm afraid I'll be getting her hand for the dance', Shivaay said confidently. And before Anika could respond, he pulled her closer to him by her waist. Mr.Khuranna left broken hearted. Im the other hand, Shivaay pulled her into a dance.

'I need to talk to you Anika!', he said.

Anika just angrily glared at him, broke the dance hug and left the dance floor. Shivaay went behind her.

'I said I wanted to talk!', he kind off roared while walking behind her.

'And I don't want to!!', she angrily replied. Just then, a waiter nearly crash into Anika when Shivaay pulled her close to him. She crashed in his chest.

'Be careful Anika!', he said to her.

She again pulled her poker face and was about to leave when she felt her hand being held back by him. She turned around and was about to say something to him, but he lifted her on his shoulder and started walking outside.

Anika was too shocked. She struggled to release herself from him and began hitting his back.

'Shivaay Sir please... would you please let me go', Anika asked surprisedly.

'No! No way!', Shivaay insisted.

'Shivaay!!! Put me down now!!', Anika roared angrily.

'I said I wanted to talk! But you didn't want to right? So I have to do this!!!', Shivaay roared back.

''Just because you're carrying me in your arms away like this... you think I'll talk? No!! No I won't!!!', Anika rebuked.

Shivaay dropped her from his arms and pinned her to the wall there.

Anika was becoming breathless at their proximity.

'So you won't talk???', he asked her as he neared her face.

'No!! I will not!!!', she rebuked angrily.

'Just listen to me Anika!', he shouted at her.

'Why??? Why should I??? Do uo uever listen to me??? Huh??? The other day, I was about to tell you something... did you listen back then??? You just came up to me and said stay away from me!!! Did you gave a thought about me back then??? Huh??? Then why should I listen to you now????', she roared while pushing him back. Get eyes were teary already. Shivaay was taken aback little. Even his eyes got moist.

'Anika, I'm sorry about that... I... woh... what I wanted to say... is... you... no... me...', he stammered finding for the right word.

'Just let it be! You will never be able to say anything! Just like the way you'll never be able to listen to anything!', she said and was about to go when Shivaay held her back by her wrist.

'I haven't talked yet!', he said angrily.

'Go ahead! Talk then! I'm waiting. All ears on you!', Anika replied with an attitude and crossed her arms.

'Anika, I know I shouldn't have asked you to stay away from me the other day. It's a mistake. I agree. But stop ignoring me like this. It hurts Anika. I want you to talk to me normally. I want to argue with you. I want you make my ears bleed with your non-stop chattering. (Tears were flowing continously from Anika's eyes). Anika, the past two days were hard on me as well. Trust me. I'm really very sorry. Just please be back to yourself. No more of this avoiding drama and all!', he bared out. His blue-green eyes were glistening under the moonlight because of the saline welled up in his eyes. Anika on the other hand was crying already. Shivaay cupped her face and wiped off those tears.

'Let's end this and get back to normal, okay?', Shivaay voiced out. This somewhat made her rage get back to her.

'Normal??? You'll be normal for a few days, then you'll do this thing again Shivaay!!!  I can't deal with this anymore!!! To hell with you and your mood swings!!! I'm done. It's better like this!!!', she rebuked angrily and walked away after shoving his hand off her.

PRECAP : 'Anika, you're here??? Wait a minute... are you drunk???', asked an astonished Shivaay.

P.S. Guys, many of you have requested me to update earlier. But I would really be grateful if you guys can understand that this is the only time where I can seriously sit and write. I update this book daily for you guys, so I need my own personal space to sit and write which is only available during bedtime. I let go my sleep for an hour or sometimes two to update this book. Hence, I hope you guys understand. Or else, I can update earlier but it won't be on a daily basis. I'll let you guys decide.
