Shivaay and Tia broke the hug only to find a shocked Anika at the door. Her jaw was dropped. She immediately closed her mouth and smiled awkwardly.

'I think I've disturbed you guys. I'm sorry. I'll come back in a while Shivaay Sir', she said and left right away. The files were still there on the ground.

Shivaay stood confused with Tia.

'She left the files here! What's wrong with this girl these days?', he thought out loud.

'I think I know Shivaay!', Tia thought to herself.

'I think I better leave now. Dushyant will be waiting for me. Bye Shivaay Baby', Tia teased him again.

Shivaay raised his hand lovingly to hit her. Tia avoids it with a chuckle and left his cabin. Anika was waiting outside his cabin, slightly teary eyed when Tia left his cabin.

'Oh hey Anika, you can go and meet Shivaay now', she told Anika.

Anika could only simply nod. He's eyes then fell on the bangles Shivaay showed; made her wear yesterday. Her heart ached a little but she still composed herself and smiled at Tia. Anika then went inside Shivaay's cabin. Shivaay was picking up the files that Anika had dropped earlier. She also picked up a file and their hands meet. Shivaay smiled at her. Anika refrained her hand and stood up.

'There you go!', Shivaay hands over the files to her.

'I need your signature in them. These are the paperworks for the Autumn Launch. Ms. Chanda passed them to me before leaving to Goa for location check', she said plainly.

'Oh! Okay! I'll read them and sign it in a while', he replied.

Anika nodded and was about to leave when Shivaay called her.

'Anika??? Are you okay??? I'm noticing you from morning, your mood is very much unstable. Is there any problem?', he asked very much concerned about her.

'Yeah... I'm fine!', she was about to leave when she turned back and said ,'Woh... Shivaay Sir... can I go back to my house? It's not right for me to be staying in your house alone with you. It might cause problems for you and I don't want you to be in any sorts of trouble beacause of me'.

'But there isn't any problem with you staying with me. It's fine. In fact it's absolutely fine with me. You can stay at my place until Gauri comes back. Plus it's unsafe for you to be staying there alone', Shivaay tries to convince her otherwise.

'No, Shivaay Sir. I'll manage myself. In fact I'll move to my house tonight itself', Anika was firm in her decision.

'But your house is in a mess! It's all cluttered remember? The locks are broken as well!', Shivaay pointed out.

Anika was lost at words at this point. She couldn't think of anything to say.

'I just want to leave!', she spit out in a very stern voice surprising Shivaay. He was taken aback a little.

'Okay! You can leave. But before that, I'll have to make sure that your house is completely fine for you to be living alone there. (Anika tried to say something but Shivaay stopped her). I need to do that to ensure your safety. You're one of my best employers after all', Shivaay didn't give up convincing her.

'Okay then. Until my house is renovated, I'll stayback at your place. I'll leave the very next moment my house is completed', she said and left him in the cabin alone.

'Why is she suddenly talking like this? She seems to be absolutely fine and comfortable in my house till yesterday. Why suddenly she wants to leave so badly? Did anything happen? I have to find out!', he thought to himself and did his infamous hairflick.

He then took out his phone and dialled Khana's number which was on his first speed dial.

'Khanna! Get me the number of the best renovator within an hour. Get his appoinment for this evening. The place is Anika's apartment. Is that clear?', he instructed Khanna.

Anika on the other hand went inside her workplace feeling really sad. Tears were welling up in her eyes. They began dropping one by one. She wiped it of as they stream down.

'What's wrong with you Anika??!!! Why are you like this? Stop! Stop! I think you've gone mad! Stop crying Anika!!!', she says to herself while wiping the tears away.

'I miss Gauri a lot! Gauri... wish you were here. You would have helped me... I miss you so much!!! Should I call her? Yes I should!'.

She wiped off all the tears and grabbed her phone from her handbag and called Gauri right away. The phone rang for some time before Gauri could pick it up.

'Hello Ani'

'Hey Gauri! How are you?? How's everything going on there?'

'Ani... are you okay? Is eveything there okay? We just spoke last night'

And that was the breaking point for Anika. She couldn't sustain her tears anymore. She started to cry.

'Ani!!! Ani... are you okay? What's wrong Ani??? Why are you crying??? Anything happened there???', Gauri was worried for Anika.

'Nothing Gauri! I just miss you so much!!! That's all', Anika told her.

'I miss you too. But there's no need to cry okay? Calm down now... I'll be back in four more days, okay? Calm down!', Gauri consoles Anika.

Anika calms down and stopped crying. She felt better after talking to Gauri. She's the only person after her mother who can calm her.

Shivaay just spoke to the renovator and heads into the workplace.

'Anika, I've spoke to a renovator for your house. We'll be meeting him this evening around 5. So we'll have to leave the office by 4. Okay?', Shivaay informed her.

Anika just nodded her head indicating a yes. Shivaay could see her puffy red eyes. He realized that she was crying. He wanted to ask her what's bothering her. He wanted to hold her hands. He wanted to hold her. He wanted to tell her that everything would be fine. He would make it fine even if he doesn't know the reason behind her misery. But he just left silently without uttering a single word. He thinks that she needs some time for herself.
