Shivaay stopped at a restaurant making Anika confused.

'Why are we here? I thought we're going back home?', she asked quizically.

'Oh... woh... actually... you said I ditched the lunch plan with you when I myself called you upon right? This is to make up for that. Would dinner be fine?', he asked with in a very much childish manner.

'Dinner? That would be good too!', she stated excitedly and got out of the car.

They went ahead into the restaurant. It was an open restaurant, with dim lighting and very mild music was playing in the background. The whole restaurant was garden themed. Anika was totally blown away looking at the place.

'Table for two please. And yeah, it's not a date. Just a regular table would do', Shivaay told the waiter who was at the entrance.

Anika remembered her "date" with him on the rooftop restaurant back there in Dehradun. She laughed a little as she recalled the awkward situation they were in during that time and how the waiter there misunderstood them as a couple.

'What are you laughing at?', Shivaay asked her.

'Nothing. I just remembered our lunch in the rooftop restaurant at Dehradun. About how they misunderstood us as a couple!', she blurted out.

'Yeah. I know right!', Shivaay smiled as well as he reminisced those moments.

Just then, the waiter comes there and shows them their table. Shivaay and Anika went ahead and settled down themselves. After ordering the food, Anika began fiddling with her phone. Shivaay tried to begin a conversation but seeing her got so engrossed in the tiny gadget of hers, he kept quiet. The food arrived and Anika finally puts her phone away.

'Finally!', Shivaay sighed out.

'Yeah, finally the food is here. I'm starving already!', she expressed as she assumed that Shivaay was talking about the food while poking her fork into the food.

'Can't you think about anything else apart from food?', he asked her quite annoyedly and focused onto his food.

'What did I do now?', she asked surprisedly.

'Nothing! You did absolutely nothing!', he uttered sarcastically.

Anika got annoyed now.

'Is your mood a chameleon or what? It just changes from one to another within seconds. Even the weather is predictable compared to your mood! I think you need a psychiatric's help! You must be suffering from some severe mental issue', she vented out.

'What? Are you saying that I'm mad?', he asked her angrily.

'Yes... you're... you're mad! Totally mad!!!', she did in his style.

This antic of hers made all of Shivaay's anger to vanish. A wide smile was formed on his face.

'You're impossible Anika!', he claimed with a smile and continued eating.

'Has this guy lost it or what? We're just in the middle of an argument and he suddenly smiled like this? That too when I called him mad! Something is definitely wrong with him!', she thought to herself.

Shivaay then began discussing about work, diverting the topic. But, Anika was still in her mind thinking about the reason Shivaay smiled like an idiot a little while ago. They then left the restaurant and head towards their home.

After refreshing, Anika was preparing her bed when Shivaay knocked the door.

'Come in!'

'Hi', he greeted her while smiling.

'Hi...', she replied sensing something is fishy.

'Can you try these on?', he handed over the jewelry box he was having a little while ago.

Anika took it from him and opened it to find two exotic and elegant diamond studded bangles. Her eyes opened wide at the sight of it.

'Can you please try it on?', Shivaay requested again.

'What is wrong with Sadu? He bought me bangles? That too this pretty ones? This looks super expensive! He's asking me to try them. Should I put them on or not? Anika!!! Now that he's already bought it for you, just put it on. What else could you possibly do?', she thought to herself.

Anika puts them on and it was perfect on her hands as if they were custom-made for her hands only. She showed them to Shivaay with a smile. Shivaay smiled satisfactorily.

'If it fits you fine, then it should fit her as well!', Shivaay stated.

Anika's smile was broken. She was now curious.

'Fit whom?', she asked.

'Tia! Who else? I was supposed to get her a gift today but I forgot. Hence, I got this for her. But I had doubt if I had bought small bangles. Now all my doubts have been cleared. These bangles will fit her perfectly. Do you think she'll like it?', he asked her not realizing that fumes were escaping from Anika's ears.

'Definitely she would! Why not! Besides this is so pretty!', she told while hiding her anger behind her fake smile. She took the bangles off her hand, placed them into the jewelry box again and gave it to Shivaay.

'Great choice!', Anika told him while handing the box over.

'Yeap... people always say that to me. Thank you anyways and goodnight!', he said as he left her room.

Anika's fake smile disappeared right away.

'How dare he???!!! What does this Sadu thinks of himself? He bought a gift for his girlfriend and he's using me as a testimony!!! To hell with this Sadu and his girlfriend issue! Why am I getting stressed up over nothing??? Is it possible that Gauri was right??? Nahi! No... no... that's not it. He used me. That's why I got angry. Nothing else. Mujhe koi farak nahi padta! I don't care! For now, I need a good night's sleep. That's all!', she thought to herself and hit the bed.

The next morning, Anika was more like a lioness than a human. She was bickering over nothing to Shivaay. Shivaay wonders what's wrong with her.

'What is wrong with this girl? Yesterday she was telling that my mood is unpredictable. She was comparing it with chameleon and weather. And today, her own mood is like this. Is she having mood-swings or what? Is it that time of her month? Quite possible. I should be aware then. She's getting pissed off for no reasons at all. Be careful Shivaay', Shivaay had this self-talk session while driving from home to office.

She, on the other hand was also battling with herself to get her anger controlled. They were quiet throughout their journey to the office.

When they reached, they were welcomed by Tia. Anika faked another smile and walked away into her workplace without even replying properly to Tia when she greeted her.

'What's wrong with her?', Tia asked to Shivaay.

'I don't know. How do you suppose me to know, huh? I think may be she's having her little friend's visit. Else she's a very friendly person. She got quite close with Om and Mallika in just their first meet you know? She even got so close to Dad, Mother and Dadi the other day when we went home. She's a very nice, bubbly girl. It's just her mood swings I guess', Shivaay spit his thought out.

'Is this what I'm thinking is happening?', Tia thinks to herself.

'Anyways, why are you here so early in the morning? Fought with Dushyant again? Should I come and whack him up?', Shivaay asked with a naughty smirk.

'Shivaay! Dushyant is very nice okay? He looks after me like a queen. He loves me a lot okay! And yeah! The reason I'm here is for my present! Remember you asked me to come and get it today?', she reminds him.

Shivaay faked a regreting face.

'Oh no! I forgot! I'm so sorry Tia!', he lied.

'You're always like this Shivaay! This is not done huh! I'll complain to Dadi about you! I'm leaving!', she said and was about to go when Shivaay held her wrist, stopping her from going.

He puts the bangles on her hand when she turned around. Then, he showed them to her. Her frown disappeared and she started smiling with tears of happiness welled up in her eyes.

'How do you like your gift?', he asked very calmly.

'It's so pretty! I love it!!! Thank you so much Shivaay!!! I love you!!!', she exclaimed excitedly and hugged him.

Shivaay hugged her back saying, 'I'm happy you liked it! And I love you too!'

Anika who watched just the last part of the entire scene got shocked. Her jaw dropped along with the files she had in her hand. The sound of the files dropping made Shivaay and Tia to break the hug and look at her.
