Hey guys, so most of you correctly guessed our mysterious muscular forest ranger. Yeap! It's our very own Rudy! But for this story, I've decided to change his name a little, just his surname. Rudra Pratap Rathore. And for those who said it's Daksh, come on yaar... Do you guys miss him so much? Should I bring him here then? Haha! I wish I could see your reactions when you read that! Shivaay was quite surprised with Anika's action of suddenly hugging that forest ranger. He was just watching them while burning inside. He made a fake cough to gain attention but in vain.

'Rudy!!!', Anika shouted after breaking the hug while holding both his hands in her hands.

'Ani!!!', he shouted back.

They repeated this thing a couple of times which annoyed Shivaay further.

'Would you speak further or keep on going with this "Rudy" and "Ani"?', he asked annoyedly.

'Who's this Sadu??', Rudra asked Anika.

Anika suppressed her laughter some how. She then looked at an annoyedly angry and frustrated Shivaay.

'This is exactly why you are my bestfriend Rudy! Just by a glance you got uo know that he's a Sadu! You're amazing yaar!!! Kya kamaal ki khidkithod dhost mila hai mujhe [ what an amazingly khidkithod friend I've got]', She started expressing herself.

Shivaay was just being quiet and controlling his anger.

'If you're done with your nonsense, then can we get back to business?', he sarcastically commented. He also didn't want the free embarassment that Anika was giving him in front of Rudra.

'Ok, fine', she exclaimed and turned around to Rudra. 'Rudy, we got lost here and we need lift to get back home. I know you will send me back home but just for courtesy, I'm asking', she said while grinning. Shivaay couldn't stand to look at her grinning like that while talking to Rudra. She has never did that with him. Somehow, he managed to kick in JSO. And added to her request.

'We would be extremely grateful if you could drop us back to Anika's home. Mr.Rudy!', he added.

'That's Major.Rudra Pratap Rathore for you Mr.... ummm...', he corrected Shivaay.

'Mr.Shivaay Singh Oberoi! He's my boss', Anika butt in.

The guys have a cold handshake. Then, they got into Rudy's jeep. Anika took the front seat before Shivaay could reach there forcing him to sit behind.

'So Rudy, how's Saumya? I miss her so much. The last time I saw you both was during your wedding. After that, I went to Mumbai and became busy. It's good that we met here by chance', Anika started the conversation.

Shivaay smiled cunningly and did his hair flick when he heard of Saumya. 'So this guy is married!'.

'You're married', Shivaay exclaimed loudly in happiness. Anika and Rudy turned to look at Shivaay with a 'what's wrong with you' look.

'Why? I shouldn't be married is it? I know that I'm totally good looking and have a very much well-built body, but that doesn't mean I'm a bachelor', I clarified while self-praising himself.

'You didn't change at all! I thought after becoming forest ranger you'll change but you're still the same Rudy', Anika exclaimed.

'Of course Ani! I'm still the same. Now that I'm that amazing, why would I change?', saying this Rid grabbed Anika's hand and brought it close to his heart.

'This heart that was broken by you is also unchanged. When are you going to mend my broken heart and soul Anika', Rudy started his drama and flirtatious talks.

Shivaay was getting very much impatient and restless to see Rudy doing this. He immediately broke their hand and asked Rudy to concentrate on the road. Anika just smiled at both the guys antics.

'He's married already but still he's flirting with another girl. That too his wife's friend. I think he's a forest ranger just for namesake, his behaviour has no traits of a ranger. Shameless guy!', judgemental Shivaay thought to himself.

In a while, they reached Anika's home. Anika called Rudy in but he denied saying he needs to go. This brought happiness to Shivaay's face. He waved bye to Rudy happily as he drives off.

It was nearly 3 O'clock when Shivaay and Anika reached home. They went in, freshed themselves changed their clothes and immediately stormed into the kitchen. They were starving since the only meal they had the whole day was the breakfast that too early in the morning.

As soon as they finished their food, Pinky Aunty questioned them about the fabric that they were going to get. Only then Shivaay and Anika remembered that they left it near the waterfall where they fell in.

'Phail gaya raita! It must be at the waterfall right Shivaay Sir?', she confirmed with him.

'Yeah, it should. I don't know how I forgot about it!', he said.

'But what were you both doing at the waterfalls?', Pinky Aunty interrupted.

Anika then told her the whole story of how they got lost and how they missed the fabric.

'You can never remembers way rights Anika? Bichari meri bacchi! She fells into waterfalls', Pinky Aunty claimed while cupping Anika's face.

'Anika... you're getting fevers??', she asked in surprise as Anika's body was getting hot.

'No Mumma! I'm fine. For now, we'll have to go and get the fabric back. I'm fine, okay?', Anika lied.

'No! It's not fine! You're not feeling-well, so you're resting at home! And I'll  get the fabric myself', Shivaay instructed her.

'But how will you go?? You don't even know the way?', she asked him.

'I'll bring him! Anyways, I memorize paths better than you do!'

They heard this voice from the front door and turned to look there. Saahil was standing there. Saahil's sight made Shivaay feel a bit nervous. He was reminded of the warning he gave yesterday.

'Yeah! That's goods! Shivaay beta, you goes with Saahil, okay?', Pinky Aunty said smilingly.

Shivaay reluctantly nodded his head and walked out of the house. Saahil was walking next to him. They were quiet for sometime. Saahil then broke the silence.

'So, you saved my Anika by jumping into the waterfall?', Saahil asked.

'River! Not the waterfall. People hardly survive when they fall from waterfall', Shivaay corrected Saahil's facts.

'Whatever it is! The point is did you or did you not jumped into the water to save my Anika?', Saahil questioned him more sternly this time around.

'Yes, I did!', Shivaay answered plainly.

Saahil stopped walking and hugged Shivaay by his leg. Shivaay was quite surprised by Saahil's sudden action. He thought Saahil was going to give more warnings and threats as Anika underwent all that beacause of Shivaay. Instead, he was hugging and crying. Shivaay broke the hug and bent down to Saahil's height.

'Why are you crying?', Shivaay asked puzzled.

'Anika is my only sibling-like person I have after loosing my sister in a car accident. I love her so much! She reminds me a lot of Sahana Di. She takes care of me exactly like her. She also never let me felt like a stranger. That's why I'm very possesive about her. Thank you for saving my Anika! Else, I would have loose the other sister that God gave me', Saahil thanked Shivaay.

'Shuussh! Now stop crying! Good boys don't cry. And don't worry about your Anika, I'll always look after her! I'll not let anything happen to her', Shivaay consoles him.

'Pinky promise?', Saahil said while pointing out his Pinky finger towards Shivaay.

This action of his reminded Shivaay of Anika's antic in his cabin when she asked for a second chance. His lips curved up forming a little smile.

'What's this Pinky promise?', Shivaay asked him while pointing out his pinky finger as well.

Saahil did the action of Pinky promise and told him that 'Pinky promise is the most true and purest promise in the world'.

Shivaay smiled at his innocence despite the attitude (tadi) he was  showing yesterday.

'So, we're friends now?', Shivaay asked while handing out his right hand.

Saahil smilingly nodded and was about to handshake with Shivaay but Shivaay withdraw his hand and do his hairflick, just the way Saahil did to him when Anika introduced them. Saahil pouted in anger and turned his face around. Shivaay chuckled at his antics.

He then forward his hands again with a sorry this time. They finally had a handshake with both smiling happily.

PRECAP: Anika refuses to eat her medicine and Shivaay was noticing all of her antics.
