Shivaay and Anika were still in the same position. The flower shower on them and the slow yet chilly breeze blowing was adding up to the romantic ambience. Anika was totally lost in his deep blue-green eyes again. His eyes were just irresistible for her. Shivaay was also adoring her hazel eyes.
'You won't say Prince Charming this time around???', he broke the silence yet remained in the same pose.
'Huh???!!!', was the only thing that came out of her mouth while being lost in his orbs.
'I mean... the last time when we bang and fell, you were calling me Prince Charming right??? That time around the situation wasn't romantic, but now, these flower shower, the slow breeze... and the handsome me of course... don't you see Prince Charming in me today???, he teased her.
Anika stood up, composed herself while hiding her blush stammered with a fake anger to conceal her shyness, 'I'm not an idiot to be repeating the same mistake again. And FYI, you are nowhere close to my Prince Charming'. She turned around and blushed, while Shivaay also smiled as he knew she was faking it.
She walked ahead looking for the aunty whom she bought the scarf from. Shivaay was silently following her. Then all of the sudden Anika stopped.
'There she is!!!', she exclaimed at the top of her voice while pointing out to a lady who was in her mid-fifties. She started walking swiftly towards the lady and Shivaay was having trouble to catch up with her pace.
'Aunty! Simi Aunty! Rukiye! Wait!', she called out loud to that lady while walking fastly towards her.
'Anika, slow down!', Shivaay bantered as he was catching up with her.
Simi Aunty finally heard her cry and turned towards Anika. Anika started waving her hand frantically towards her in excitement. Simi Aunty was also elated to see her. Both the ladies hugged each other happily.
'Anika bacchi! How are you? When did you came back?', she asked while cupping Anika's face lovingly.
'I'm fine Simi Aunty. How are you? And how's everything going?', Anika asked.
'I'm fine. But you don't look fine bacchi. See how thin you've become and why are you having eyebags? Didn't you sleep properly last night?', she asked in concern.
'Tell her Anika. Didn't you sleep well last night? Tell her!', Naughty Singh Oberoi wasn't leaving a chance to pull her leg.
'Nothing such aunty', she replied while glaring at Shivaay. 'Listen Aunty, I need your help. Remember this scarf? I bought this from you the last time around. Can you make more of this for us?', she requested.
Simi Aunty took a look at the scarf and informed Anika and Shivaay that she has some of the fabric in her home and she shall give it to her tomorrow. But, Shivaay insisted on getting it today itself. Hence, Simi Aunty brought Shivaay and Anika to her home. Her home was in a little outskirt area. She took a shortcut through the step estates and jungle to get there.
There, Shivika found her making all the scarfs that she sell by herself. Each and every piece of it were handloomed. She also had this traditional weaving machine. Shivaay was quite impressed with the high quality fabrics that she made and also the designs of it. He offered a deal to her. He decided to use her handmade fabrics fully for his next collection. Anika and Simi Aunty were extremely happy to hear that. After some business talk with Khanna, Shivaay finalized the deal with Simi Aunty, took the fabric which they came for and left her house and start walking.
'Sometimes, everything happens for a good reason! And you're the best of the best Anika', she patted her own back while praising herself.
'I can't believe this!', Shivaay muttered and rolled his eyes.
'What??!! I know you won't praise me or say thank you to me. So, I'm praising myself. I'm appreciating myself. After all, I've done such a huge thing!!!', she said proudly.
'What huge thing did you do? Tell me now! I'm curious to know!', he asked sarcastically.
'I just helped you to get such a high quality, handloomed fabric for not just your finale look but also for your next project! Kya bath hai! Wah! Wah! If I hadn't replaced the fabric the other day, this whole deal thingy that you just cracked with Simi Aunty would have been impossible!', she went on praising herself.
'Whatever!', he ignored her and walks faster.
'See! You don't appreciate me! That's why I appreciated myself. Artists and messiah's like me need appreciation you know. It's like a pat on our back. It helps us to move further and do better things...', she bumped into Shivaay who a little while ago was walking ahead of her.
'What happened??? Why did you stop???', she asked him.
'Where are we?', he asked in a slow astonished voice.
'What where are we? We're in the jungle! Where else?', she exclaimed calmly.
'Anika!!! This is jungle but we didn't pass through WATERFALL to get to her house!!!', he shouted. Only then she realized that Shivaay actually stopped because of the waterfall in front of them.
'Phail gaya raita! Shivaay Sir, I think I took the wrong turn just now', she said in a panicky time.
'What???!!! Wrong turn???!!! Wah!!! Wah Anika!!! Wah!!! You seriously deserve praises!', he sarcastically said while clapping his hand.
'Mistakes happens ok! You were also with me, why didn't you tell me when I took the wrong turn, huh?', she questioned him angrily.
'How would I know??? Am I from Mussorie or you??? You know what??? I was right to call you mad. You were so engrossed in your self-appreciation that a landed up here; in the middle of nowhere now!', he took out all his frustration. 'And you called yourself messiah just now! Badi aayi Musibat ka Messiah!', he taunted her.
'Now do you want to get out from here or keep on arguing with me???', she roared.
'For heaven's sake, get me out of here!', Shivaay pleaded.
'Stop arguing and follow me then!', she instructed.
They walked for some time and they reached the same spot again. Shivaay was getting more frustrated and the scorching Sun was adding his anger.
'Oh bete ki! Why are we here again?', she whispered to herself.
'Anika! Please tell me you know the way!', Shivaay asked in a baby tone, unable to walk anymore.
Anika worriedly looked at him and sat down. Shivaay also sat down next to her.
'Please tell me what I'm thinking is wrong!', Shivaay told her.
'How am I supposed to know what is in your brains?', she asked back furiously.
'Don't tell me we're lost!', he uttered while hoping they aren't. He crossed his fingers and closed his eyes in the hope Anika would say something else.
Anika bit her lower lip, closed her eyes and finally uttered those words which Shivaay dreaded not to hear,'I think we're lost!'.
They both looked at each other shockingly.
'PHAIL GAYA RAITA!', they exclaimed in unison.
PRECAP: SHIVIKA finding their way back home.
-To be continued-
P.S. So how did you guys find it? Yeap! Shivika got lost in the jungle instead of going back to Mumbai.
