Anika was speechless because of the sudden proposal and all the surprises. She could hardly believe whatever that is going on. She began laughing hysterically making Shivaay all confused. He got up and looked at her in a very weird manner.

'Anika, why are you laughing? Did I say something hilarious?', he questioned her.

'Hahaha... you know what??? I miss you so much until I'm getting such realistic dreams! Hahaha! This whole thing is so wonderful... I really hope that you'll do it as well... but what to do, you're Sadu Singh Oberoi! You wouldn't know how to do all of this!', she went on with her talks to convince herself that whatever that is  happening is her dreams. Nothing but her dream.

Shivaay got annoyed enough and pinched her forearm, a little forceful, making sure to not give her much pain but at the same time to make her realize that this is not a dream.

'Ouch! It hurts!', Anika winced out.

'See, it hurts! This means that you're not dreaming!!! You get that?', he told her being a bit miffed.

'Wait a minute! This is not a dream??? You really proposed me??? Oh God!!! Oh God!!! Oh God!!! I think I'm going to die!!! Oh God!!!', she began faning herself with both her hands trying to register all the events that just happened.

'Anika!!! Chill!!! Calm down!!!', Shivaay on the other hand tries to bring her nerves down but in vain as she was feeling really in dreamland.

With no other choice, Shivaay pulled her into a tight hug to get her nerves down. They remained in the hug for quite some time until Anika becomes quiet. Totally quiet. Shivaay then breaks the hug and made her look into his eyes.

'Hey, you alright now? This is not a dream okay? This is real! It's happening. I proposed you and you aren't giving me a reply. So is it a yes or a no?', he asked her. A huge shade of care was visible in his voice.

Anika's eyes were already glisten by the time she realized that its no dream, but now looking at the care he was giving her, it just made her tears flow. Tears of joy!

'Why are you crying now? God's sake!!! Stop confusing me this much you pretty woman! I think I'll go mad in trying to understand you!!!', he literally shout that out of frustration.

'Tears of joy!!! And you stop being so confused. And about you going mad, it's impossible. Why? Because, a great person once said that "never try to understand a woman; either you'll fall in love with her or go mad!". Now that you've fallen in love with me, I think it would be impossible for you to go mad!', she replied with a little chuckle in the end and tried to ruffle his hair but he pulled away at the last minute.

'I think, I will go mad!!! I mean I asked you something a little while ago, instead I getting an answer, at first you said this was a dream and now you're ridiculing me! This is not fair!!! It took so much of my time and caurage to ask that to you. You're keep on talking and talking and talking after that but you're not giving me an answer!', he retaliated being really frustrated.

'Offo Shivaay!!! Sshhuuussshh!!! What do you think my answer would be, huh? Shivaay, you made this much of arrangements and surprised me to the core. You made me float in the air into the dreamland. I'm on cloud nine right now, and you're the reason behind it. Shivaay, Dad always said to me that I shouldn't marry a guy with whom I can live with, instead, I should marry a guy, without whom, I can't live! Remember when you ignored me when we just returned from Mussorie, I felt like something wasn't right. My day is just not complete without you in it! You complete me Shivaay! So, it's very obvious right? That I love you and I can't live without you! Why wouldn't I not accept your proposal then? I would gladly accept you in my happily ever after because only you can make me happy like this! It's a yes Shivaay! I will be more than grateful to do the honours of being your wife! Yes! I do!', she expressed all her feelings with lots of smiles and tears of joy.

Her acceptance of the proposal made Shivaay extremely happy. He lifted her up in his arms and twirled her around in happiness. Within a few seconds, he puts her down and kisses her forehead.

'Thank you so much Anika! And you know what, today, I promise that I'll never make you sad and will try my best to provide all the happiness in the world to you! I love you Anika!', he confessed again and pulled her into another hug.

'Errrmmm, Shivaay, is that ring meant to be slide through my ring finger or its just for display, you know, to make the proposal look realistic', Anika questioned him while still being in the hug.

'Oh! Sorry! I forgot!', Shivaay broke the hug and took the ring out.

Anika forwaded her left hand and Shivaay took the ring carefully from the box. He holds her hand close to himself and slide it through her ring finger. He then proceeds to kiss her hand. She smiled looking at the ring.

'It's really very pretty!', she exclaimed as she takes a closer look at it.

'Not more than you! You're my most precious diamond! Shivaay's Kohinoor!', he says as he placed both his hands on her waist and pulls her closer to him.

'It's too filmy! Doesn't suit you!', Anika replied with a chuckle and when he frowned, she places a kiss on his cheeks and they both hugged again.

'Officially engaged, huh?', Shivaay asked in reconfirmation tone.

'Officially enganged, my love!', Anika replied, trying to replicate his tone of saying 'my love'.
