Untitled Part 4
MY HUSBAND'S VALENTINE
Dedicated to my husband, George
I love my husband
I'll never forget.
I remember clearly
When at first we met
My eyes soon met his
And his met mine.
The smile on his face
Was simply divine.
My main problem was
That he was with Jude.
How could I win him
Without being rude?
She had huge breasts
Bigger than mine.
Her skin was flawless,
Her lips sweet as wine.
She had shapely legs,
Not at all like mine.
They are like clothes pegs
Or fisherman's twine.
Her blond hair was striking,
She looked like Doris Day.
She seemed to adore him
In her own special way.
She had brought her pussy
It did look so cuddly.
She was keeping it warm.
It liked to be snuggly.
I was stuck with Roger
But just for the night.
He was a draft dodger.
He did not want to fight.
He was Romeo's friend
Not really my date.
I wished not to offend.
I'd just met him of late.
When Jude wasn't watching
Romeo glanced my way.
He was really handsome.
I could honestly say.
He was dark and tall
And seemed to not mind
My being so small.
I sensed he was kind.
He told us a joke
Which was so funny.
He winked as he spoke.
His smile was sunny.
I liked his dry wit.
I knew he would fit
My vision of a man
With his glorious tan.
After forty-seven years,
I am glad he's still mine.
I'm writing this poem
For his Valentine.
