(No POV)

Yua, Y/N, and Lily are in the living room, comforting Y/N and recovering from their fight. Yua wanted to make things right with her former enemy and most importantly, her kitten. 

Yua- Lily...

Lily- Hmm?

Yua- I...don't know how I can make up for the pain and mess I have caused. 

Lily- Well, you can start by helping me with Y/N, he is still a mess after what he just saw.

Lily was right, Yua needed to be the mother she was and so she cuddled with Y/N who was shaking from her touch at first but slowly stopped and hugged her tightly while sobbing. Yua always thought that she would never make her son cry or anything like that but she did it tonight and now she has to rethink her goals. Y/N then fell asleep from the crying and Yua carried Y/N to his room slowly and placed him in his bed, kissed him goodnight, and walked out of the room. Lily went to give him a kiss goodnight as well and normally this would make Yua angry but not this time. Yua and Lily then walked back to the living room, sat down, and didn't say one word to one another for a little while before Lily looked at Yua.

Lily- Yua.....so what's your story?

Yua- Huh?

Lily- I mean, how did you become human-like I did. I know about Project Demi and so do you, but many did by different means. For me, let's just say I went hunting for food at the wrong time. But I want to know about you cause I knew from the first time I saw you, you are..or was a common cat before, you couldn't be from the wild but some kind of adoption shelter. 

Yua- Your right, I was in a pet shelter but before I was in there...I was out there in the streets...alone.

Then Lily focused on Yua as she was about to tell her about her past.

(Yua's POV)

(*Flashback*)

I don't know who my mother was but I all knew one night, it was raining and dark and I was all alone in a cardboard box that was covered in mud and filled with wrappers. I was looking for her and anything that could help me but nothing or anyone helped me. I was forced to steal from trashcans, eat crumbs from humans food and occasionally sneak into restaurants and have a feast basically. Eventually, I learned that I was on my own and no one was going to help me so I had to help myself to survive, so for the next few years was wandering from city to city, scavenging for food, and avoiding any humans as the best I could. My intense dislike for humans grew and grew as time went on but there was one feeling I always felt no matter what day it was, the feeling of being wanted. I would be in the parks where the older female humans were playing with their tiny humans and how they looked happy, at peace, and never had to worry about the loneliness I felt. I watched with curiosity but also with jealously, they were happy and I wasn't, but at the time there was nothing I could do about it. I thought that I was going to die in the streets but I was wrong cause one night while I was sleeping, I heard two humans walking by and I heard one got closer to where I was sleeping at. By the time I woke up, it was too late, they caught me with their big nets and brought me to a truck where there were other cats like me taking us somewhere. I woke up sometime later and I was in some kind of cage filled with toys, a food bowl, a water bowl, and a mini litter box. I didn't know where I was but all I cared about was the free food and luxuries I never had once in my life. As I looked around the place, three humans walked inside the room and headed to my cage, I acted cautious and kinda vicious towards them as I didn't trust them and thought they were gonna hurt me or something. No, instead they cleaned me, checked me for any illnesses, and all that. After that, they placed me in a small area where a big glass window was in front of me and there were many humans walking by and looking at me which I hissed at them and they walked away. For a long while, I was in that same box every day with the only time I was out was to eat, drink water, poop in the litter, and play with some toys in the end before being put back in and falling asleep going to do the same thing the next day. But one day was going to change as a human man took me out and carried me somewhere I didn't know what to expect, then we arrived at a room where there was a human man and woman who looked happy for some reason. I heard one of them say:

"Oh, isn't she just the prettiest!"

I didn't know how to respond to that other than to look at them.

"Yup, this is the one for us sir," The man said.

"Splendid, then we shall get the paperwork over with, and then she is all yours you two. "

The man then put me in another cage but it was a big and dark one that didn't have anything in it. Then the man and woman grabbed my cage, carried me to their car, and drove off to take me to their home. The home, well for the next couple of years I was in that home with the man and woman who I didn't care about in the slightest, I was so used to living alone in the streets, I became a part of me and I always believed it would be like that forever. But one day, the woman was breathing heavily in the kitchen and the man was asking what was wrong. Then I saw leaking water from the woman and she yelled:

"ITS TIME!"

The man rushed her to their car and drove off somewhere, now I was wondering for real this time as to what the hell was that all about. The man and woman never came back that night but a young human did and basically took care of my needs. She didn't talk to me once and I was fine with that. Days went by and they were back home and I wasn't about to greet them but I was too curious about why there were gone for so long, I had to see what was up. Once the door opened, they stepped inside and they were carrying a human baby with them. I couldn't take my eyes off of the baby and the man and woman saw that and invited me to get closer.

"Come here Yua, I want you to meet the newest member of our family.~"

"I think you two will grow close."

I walked close to the baby and when I did, the little thing yawned and my heart was beating all of a sudden. I felt something that I never felt before, I felt happy, joy, and most of all a mother's love and warmth for the baby. I knew from that day that I will always protect the baby from all dangers, be there when he was crying, and play with him when the man and woman were not there to do so, I swore that no harm will come for him and it was now my duty to do so. He was my child, my kitten, and not these humans. And so, I spent the year doing just that and everything was fine, except for when they took him away from me then there was a problem, oh how I wished that I was just like the man and woman, being able to walk, talk and most of all hold my baby. I got my wish one day when the man and woman tried to catch me with unfortunate success for them and took me to the basement where there was giant machines. They put me inside where they drew my blood and the woman entered from the other side. The man turned on the machine and it sounded very strange at first but then I heard rumbling and everything went to hell from there. The machine launched and I blanked out for god knows how long, but I woke up in the middle of the ruble and discovered something amazing. I was in a human body and it looked like I got the human female's body, I took some time to look at my new body but I stopped when I heard loud crying from Y/N who was in his crib bawling, his face red and was scared to death. I reached his room and comforted him and doing the tricks the female human was doing to calm him down. After some thinking, I decided that since they were dead, I thought that I could take their place as his new mother, and that's what I just did. So, I packed up, got him in a stroller, and headed out of the house looking back one last time. It was a long journey but after some...."setbacks", we were in this house. Let's just say in our first night, it was..not a nice night so to speak. But I took care of it and went to sleep with my kitten next to me. I swore those years ago that I will be the best mother for my kitten I can ever be and till...what happened, it was going just fine. 

(*Flashback ends*)

Yua- And you know about how we meet and how it was leading up to where we are now. Now you know about me Lily, so...are-

Then Lily hugged me tightly with tears in her eyes, I was shocked by this but I returned the hug and let her cry till she felt better.

Lily- I can't believe you had it so bad for you Yua. *Sobbing*

Yua- Hey...it happened and there's nothing I can do to change that but I can move forward now..with....you and Y/N.

Lily looked into my eyes and smiled at me. 

Lily- Of course, I'm here to stay but I will help you taking care of Y/N till the rest of my days. So...Yua.....truce?

She reached for a handshake and I took it which means our rivalry is now over and a new thing began. 

Yua- Truce Lily but I got one thing to ask.

Lily- Yeah?

Yua- Would you kill to protect Y/N? Would you do whatever it takes for his safety? 

Lily- Yes I do Yua, now and forever.~

Yua- *Giggle* I like you already.

Lily and I were laying down on the couch thinking about our new connection and our common goal.

Yua's mind- To make sure no harm comes to our child.~

I closed my eyes and fell asleep thinking about the future. I don't know what is gonna happen but now I have a second pair of hands to rely on now and was going to get used to but that won't is the problem anymore.

Yua- Now, we both will do anything for Y/N even if we have to spill blood to do so.
