4 years later.

(No POV)

After four years of struggle, trial and error and many close calls, Yua mastered the customs, rules and tricks of mankind and so she used that to her advantage at its fullest. First, by going to online college, she got a master's degree of education and a certificate of learning for culinary arts. This way, she can get a job as a full-time teacher at her kitten's elementary school to make sure no one messes with her baby and to deepen the bond between them. Also, her certificate is to enhance her skills to cook delicious foods for her Y/N as she doesn't want anyone to make him food but her. At home, she doesn't wear clothes around the house as she doesn't think of bothering to wearing any anyway when no one is going to be in the house but them plus it's itchy as hell for her and so she just walks around the house naked and Y/N being with her for four years, he just thinks it normal for his mommy to be naked all the time inside. As for Y/N, he is now turning four years old today and he is just the sweetest, playful, caring and curious hungry boy in the world, he loves his kitty mommy and loves to play games with her like chasing the laser dot, ball, and feather teasers. He doesn't quite understand the kind of things Yua does to him like lick his cheeks, purring whenever he laying down with her for nap time, meow from time to time, and walk on her fours sometimes but he thinks mommy is just being silly. As for the world around them, well two years ago the government's project "Demi" got exposed due to the many experiments resulting in the deaths of over thirty scientists and the animals that was experimented on turned into half-humans just like Yua. Now the world has to be shared by these people which governments are trying to create laws, rights, and programs for them. Yua wasn't expecting to see more of her kind out there in the world, that means for her she had to be more aware of her kitten's safety, as now she has new possible threats to take care of just like the 10 humans she's killed for messing with the wrong child. Yua is doing well so far in Y/N's life and she plans to keep it that but today would be the day someone else would be taking an interest to young Y/N.

(Yua's POV)

Today is my kittens fourth birthday and i'm so happy to celebrate!! Y/N and I are going shopping for a cake for him, some candles, ingredients to make his favorite dish for and his special present which I now he wants a new toy, but he gets to pick the toy he wants. 

Yua- Y/N sweetie!! Its time to head out for your birthday shopping!

Y/N- Coming Mommy!

I then heard running heading to the door and there he was, my kitten is growing up so fast!~

Y/N- Mommy!

He gave me a big hug and I just held him tightly. He is just the most adorable child I have ever seen, it seems like yesterday that I was taking him away from those bastards from his old home and making the journey away from that horrible place to our current home where we live a life of family...my family.

Yua- Are you ready, my kitten?~

Y/N- Yeah!

Once I patted out my outfit for the day for any lint, we head off to the car and I picked him up so he can sit down on his booster seat and buckle up.

Y/N- Where are we going mommy?

Yua- We are going to the bakery first to place an order for your cake.

Y/N- YAY! What flavor is it?

Yua- *Giggle* Silly, its your birthday today so you can get to choose any flavor you want.

Y/N- Then I want a cookie cake!

Yua- Ahh going extra sweet today~. Well my kitten, today its your day to have it then.~

Y/N- Sweet, thank you mommy!

Yua- Your welcome Y/N, mommy loves you so very much.~

Y/N- I love you too mommy.

My tail was moving around in warmth and excitement for tonight where we will just have a simple yet meaningful birthday celebration at home, then end the night in watching his favorite movies till bedtime and I will allow him to stay up late tonight. So to the bakery I go.

(Timeskip)

I arrived at the bakery and it wasn't busy so i'm sure we can get his cake at an reasonable time. Y/N got out the seat and car himself but I went to his side to hold his hand and head inside. 

Bakery employee- Welcome ma'am, what can we do for you today?

Yua- I want to place a cookie cake order for my sons birthday today.

Bakery employee- Alright ma'am and it looks like you got the last one for the day, so congrats to you and the little guy.

Y/N- Yay! Mommy, today is really a special today.

Yua- It sure is, kitten.

Bakery employee- So what's should the message be so it can be on the front of the cookie.

Yua- It will say: "Happy 4th birthday to you, my kitten.~"

Bakery employee- Ahh kitten I see, because well you know your the mother cat cause of your tail and ears.

Yua's mind- No shit human.

Yua- Yup, exactly.

Y/N- Oh, can I choose the colors of the frosting.

Bakery employee- Sure thing, little man we got a whole bunch of colors to choose from, so pick two or three you want and I can get it started for you.

Y/N- Well, can I have red, blue, and green?

Bakery employee- Absolutely.

Yua- Great, now what's the wait time for it?

Bakery employee- I would say 30 minutes to an hour, does that sound good to you guys?

Yua- Sure. Then we will come back here later to pick it up.

Bakery- Sure thing, now can I have you name for the order?

Yua- Yua.

Bakery employee- Ok, now the total is $21.99 please.

I got my card and paid for the order and now the next stop is the local grocery store to gather ingredients for his special dinner tonight.

Bakery employee- Have a nice day you two and happy birthday little man.

Y/N- Thank you and you too sir.

Finally we left the shop and head back to the car to go to the store.

(Another timeskip)

(Y/N'S POV)

Mommy was taking me to the grocery store and I never really get to go to one until today so I think this is a chance for me to look around. We got there and I got out and mommy held my hand again but I really want to explore the store. 

Mommy- Ok sweetie, now we are shopping for your birthday dinner today. What would like?

Y/N- How about pizza?

Yua- Ok, then I will make the most yummiest pizza for you today.~

Pizza sounds really good right now and I am a bit hungry right now.

Y/N- Mommy, can I have a snack?

Mommy- Of course kitten, I'll get you some goldfish here sounds good?

Y/N- Yes please mommy.

She made her purring noises again and thats when mommy is calm or happy so I think she's happy that I'[m learning my please and thank you's I'm learning in school. We got the the area where the pizza ingredients are at and while she wasn't looking, I tiptoed my way to the next three sections of the store and I was amazed at all this stuff there is. For some reason, my brain played this song from this video game that one of my friends from school who is in the third grade showed me one time when I went over to his house for a sleepover and he played the game perfect dark, at least I think that was called that.

(A/N- Fun fact, when I was little my older cousin had an n64 and he played this game and I watched him only allowing me to play the training courses but thats it. Honestly, I cant believe I still remembered that to this day and I thought this music sounds cool when your exploring somewhere unknown to you at least to me. But now we go back to the chapter folks.)

So I walked around the store looking around to see many stuff like chips, cookies and so many more that I don't know where to start. As I walked around some more, I realized that I should get back to mommy before she freaks out. So I went back to the section she was at but she wasn't there.

Y/N- Mommy?

I ran all the way to the end and looked in aisles to the left and right and she wasn't in either one. I started to panic not knowing where she was.

Y/N- Mommy, where are you!?

I ran across the store looking everywhere and still not finding her, while strangers was looking at me like I was crazy but I just lost my mommy and needed to get back to her. I ran across to the other side of the store in hoping of finding her but nothing good happened. Eventually I was tired from all that running and sat down in the corner to catch my breath but I was very scared and sad that I lost mommy and wished I never left her side.

Y/N- M-m-mommy....

I cried a little bit and hugged my legs in the corner scared and hoping mommy would find me. But them, I heard footsteps getting closer to me and I looked to see who was it.

????- Hey child, what's the matter? Why are here all alone and crying?

It was a woman with ears and a tail just like mommy, but I think she is a different type of animal than mommy who is a cat. She looked like she was nice but I was still scared, and so I didn't say anything to her.

????- Did you lose someone here?

Y/N- Y-y-yeah I-i-i did, my m-m-mommy.

????- Well a child who lost his mommy will not be left behind if I can help it. Come on, let's go find her.

She held out her hand and looked at me with a smile. Maybe she is a kind stranger and wants to help me out, so I stood up and grabbed her hand and she pat my back very calmly.

????- Its ok now, i'm going to do anything bad to you or hurt plus I couldn't just ignore a child in need. Now then, what's your name little one?

Y/N- I-its Y/N.

????-  Nice to meet you Y/N, I'm Lily. 

Lily told me about her for a bit while we walked around the store searching for mommy. 

Lily- And as you can see Y/N, I'm a half-wolf woman. 

Y/N- Thats cool, my mommy has ears and a tail like you but she is a half-cat.

Lily- Well thats certainly intriguing Y/N, now i'm sure you have seen others like me and your mommy before right?

Y/N- Yeah, like my homeroom teacher in my school is a half-fox person.

Lily- Cool.

Lily was actually a nice woman, she told me jokes to cheer me up and was nice to take time to help me out and she is a wolf person that was cool. We were chatting some more when I heard a yell..

Mommy- Y/N!?!?

That was my mommy and I ran back to her.

Y/N- Mommy Mommy!!

She pulled me in held on to me very tight while she was crying. I feel very bad for making mommy worried and crying. 

Yua- Oh my kitten, where were this whole time? I thought you got kidnapped and was in a panic looking for you. *Sobbing* Please tell me, why did you leave me!?

Y/N- I-i just w-wanted to explore a-a-around.

Yua- But you could've told me at least and maybe we would've done so together! Oh my baby!...

Mommy just hugged me for a while still crying a little bit then I apologized to her.

Y/N- I'm s-s-sorry mommy.

Yua- Normally, I would punish you for doing such a thing like that, but since today is your birthday and I couldn't stay mad at you for long, I'll let this go, but Y/N.....please don't do this again please.

Y/N- I won't mommy, I-i-i promise.

Yua- Oh thats my boy.~ *Sniffle*

Lily was just watching us the whole time but didn't say anything but had a face of sadness but happiness at the same time.

Y/N- Hey mommy, I want you to meet lily as she helped me feel better and finding you.

Then mommy looked at Lily and didn't look too happy for some reason. 

Mommy- So your the one who my helped my kitten?

Lily- Yes ma'am, i'm Lily nice to meet you.

She held her hand for a handshake and mommy took her hand and pull her close to her whispering something to her but I couldn't hear anything.

Yua- Now we must get going for today. Good day to you.....Lily.

Then mommy grabbed my hand and we walked away from Lily, I gave her a wave goodbye but mommy quickly turned me around and didn't say anything the whole way back.

Y/N's mind- What's up with mommy?

(Lily's POV)

Y/N's mom apparently doesn't like me one bit as I tried to greet her but she pulled me close to her very hard and whispered:

????- I appreciate you helping my kitten and while you have my thanks, don't even think that this means we're friends because we are not. I'm giving you one warning: Don't come near my kitten ever again....got it?

I was shocked to here this coming from a beautiful half-cat person but it seems like she is more than meets the eye. Not wanting to cause a scene in front of Y/N, I nodded.

????- Good.

Then she let my hand go and she glared at me while her tail and ears was slowing moving in a hostile way.

????- Now we must get going for today. Good day to you.....Lily.

She didn't mean that farewell one bit and Y/N was a kind boy to wave me goodbye but she quickly turned him around and walked away. I really enjoyed our time with that boy Y/N, but too bad he has a mother who won't let him see other people especially half-people like me and her. What's her deal about not going near her child again, its not like I didn't do anything to hurt him so there's no reason for the hostilely towards me. But.....for some reason I didn't care about her threat at all, Y/N is just too cute, kind, and innocent to be ignored. I want to see him again and I will.....see him again. I looked at my hand who held his hand and I sniffled it and I caught a scent of chocolate that I can follow. Perfect.~

Lily's mind- Oh Y/N, you are such a good child. we will hang out again but this time it would be just you and me. I'll see you again Y/N.....little pup.~
