First, I draw a circle

Second, I draw my jawline, making it have a slight backwards tilt and a nice curve to it

Third, I draw my ear, placing it just on top of the jaw

Second, I draw my horn. I prefer to draw the bottom line first, so I know exactly where it ends.

I draw the top of my head to just about the end of the circle, adjusting it to my liking. If the top of your head goes further than your jaw, don't worry. Just erase the bottom jaw and draw it again.

I sketch out a bit of my neck, giving it a backwards curve just for looks.

hen, draw in your mouth and eye. I drew this eye over 5 times, so don't worry about erasing it.

Sketch in your nose horn, ruff and underbelly. I added an eyebrow just to make it a salty rainwing

Add your basic details, the rainwing circles, the belly creases and such

Finally, add in your spine horns.

All done with your Rainwing! Feel free to make any edits you like, and developers your own style!
