A content smile on your lips as you stare up at the sky, laying inside an inflatable ring, the gentle waves rocking you calmly. 

Luckily, you've got a handsome blonde paddling beside you in the ocean so if the current tries to pull you out too far, he'll take a grip on the ring and pull you back. 

"Okay," You hum thoughtfully, gaining Sabo's attention as he leisurely plays with a random crab that he had found in the water. "Who would you rather have a drinking contest with? Shanks, Zoro or your father?" 

In the meantime you've made your very own game of 'would you rather' whilst lounging but that's nothing new, you and Sabo always find yourselves coming up with random little games when you hang out together.

"Hmm..." A slight jolt from the blonde catching your eye, the poor boy barely suppressing a yelp as he drops the crab back into the water, his free hand rubbing his one of fingers as he pouts. Seems somebody got pinched. "Probably Zoro, I think he'll tell me some funny stories about what him and Luffy get up to afterwards!"

The cutie taking a hold on your rubber ring and spinning you playfully, causing a giggle to erupt from your lips. "I've already gotten drunk with Pops before so it won't be too new and Shanks...I think he'll kill me~!" The blonde jokes, placing his hands on the ring and abruptly stopping the movement, your eyes locking with his and immediately sending your heart into turmoil. "What about you? Who would you rather drink with?"

How does he expect me to think straight when he's looking at me like that?! Handsome bastard!

"Um..." Your eyes trailing off toward the shore as you think it through, silently begging your heart to stop beating so damn fast - you can almost hear your pulse in your ears. Your cheeks only heating up furthermore when you notice that both Newgate and Shanks are staring at you with wide grins. "W-Why are they looking at us like that?"

I bet my face looks like an emergency flare from where they're sitting!

"Huh?" Sabo's curious orbs following yours toward the two also. "Ah...I don't know. OI! WHY ARE YOU STARING AT US?!" Your face must now be every shade of red possible as many guests turn their attention toward you both, the question only causing Newagate to laugh loudly.

"Just watching my boy have a good time! Gurarara~!" 

That grin says otherwise...

"Hey, what's going on over there?" Sabo murmuring to himself as his sights trail a little further along the beach, it would seem that the guests who can't swim have formed a small group on shore, your head tilting to the side as you hum to yourself curiously. 

"I'm not sure...let's go check it out!" Your cheerful suggestion making your roommate smile as he nods his head, he leans forward and wraps his arms around your torso, carefully lifting you out of the rubber ring and lowering you to your feet - something you're grateful for since your butt always seems to get stuck in these damn rings when you try to get out of them.

Making your way back to shore with the blonde, the pair of you approach the group just in time to see Eustass Kid flip a crate over, cards with the word 'UNO' written on them flying everywhere.

"I ALMOST HAD THAT FUCKING GAME!! I WOULD'VE WON HAD TRAFALGAR NOT STOLEN MY DAMN CARDS!"

Angry...redheaded man is angry...

"You're easy to beat because you have a bad poker face, Eustass-ya."

"SHUT UP, TRAFALGAR!!"

By the looks of it, the four who were playing this was; Drake, Ace, Law and Kid. 

"Alright, alright! Time for someone else to have ago!" Ace blurts cheerfully, the freckled raven placing a hand on Drake's shoulder. "Since Drake was the winner of that round, he stays in! Who wants to play against him~?"

"Ah, we should play!" You've barely even finished the sentence and Sabo's taking a seat where Ace was sat prior, the dark-haired brother now standing the crate back up with a chuckle whilst Drake collects the cards from the ground.

I hope Kid doesn't wanna play again...

Your anxieties quickly being calmed when the angry redhead walks away, seemingly making a beeline straight for the booze. 

Law rising to his feet and allowing you to take his previous spot at the tabl--crate.

And a hooded girl plops herself down where Kid was sat previously, before his outburst, the scene actually causing Ace to chuckle. 

"Looks like we've traded a redhead for a redhead! Right, Kyo?" The raven jests playfully, Drake taking a seat back in his original spot and beginning to deal out the cards. 

"I'm arguably less hostile though." Kyo murmurs back at Ace.

You notice a few red strands of hair dangling out from under her hood, the brother's joke now making sense as the girl picks up her hand once it has been dealt and begins analysing her cards carefully. 

You and Sabo do the same although you can't quite help the pout that etches itself into your features, it's just your luck that you end up getting all the worst cards, there's no way you can win the game with these.

Good thing that the zero makes us switch hands...

As the game progresses, you and Sabo get more and more competitive toward each other, it sure doesn't help that he's sat beside you so depending on what which way the game is being rotated, one of you ends up screwing over the other.

Drake is fairly competitive himself, he's extremely focused and quiet, only letting out a small grunt here and there - especially when the rotation gets changed. He hates that. 

Kyo is moderately quiet, her expression being somewhat difficult to read since the hood hides a lot of her face but you don't miss her stifled snickers whenever somebody gets their moves screwed up.

"Uno!" Sabo grinning as he declares this and an evil giggle escaping your lips as you place a zero down, making everybody pass their cards to the person on their right. "WHAT THE--?!" 

"UNO!" You grin holding Sabo's previous card.

Finally, you got rid of that unwinnable hand. 

You had ended up with the same hand that you had started the game with, much to your dismay. 

Nobody wanted it and kept making it their job to get it back to you, especially Sabo.  

I deserve this victory!

"YOU STOLE MY UNO!"

"Hold it together, Sabo." Kyo murmurs from beside you, her focus resting on the cards in her hand, a very faint frown pulling on her lips since she was the unlucky player that got your terrible hand. 

"I'm held." Sabo responds through gritted teeth, clearly not 'held' in the slightest.

Even less so when the girl drags her head up to meet his gaze with a smirk etched into her features, throwing down a card that rotates the game and allowing you to make the next move instead of Drake and luckily for you, the last card just so happens to match the colour you need.

A grin breaking out across your face as you throw your final card down, cementing your victory and having Drake glare at the redhead beside him, Sabo carelessly shrugging his shoulders with a smile. 

"I'm glad you won!" He chirps playfully, the genuine look in his eyes has you feeling like you've been struck by lightening and causing your face to burn up immensely. 

You try to hide your shy smile by giving your handsome roommate a hug.

"Technically, we won!" You rasp into his neck, his arms slowly wrapping around your waist as he returns the affectionate action.

How is he always so damn warm?!

"Drake, why are you glaring at me?" The red-haired girl asks, sounding somewhat nonchalant.

"You let her win..."

"It was the only card I had of the correct colour."

"You did it on purpose..."

Jeez, guys can be such sore losers!

"I WANNA PLAY SHISHISHI~!" Kyo immediately rising to her feet and allowing Luffy to take her spot as Sabo slips behind you, leaning himself against the back of your chair. 

"[F/N] won the last round so she'll have to play until somebody beats her~!" Ace explains cheerfully, Usopp taking a seat where Sabo was previously and Drake moving aside to allow a pinkette to play, if you remember correctly her name is Perona.

I'll wipe the floor with these kids!
