Chapter 6

Pure pleasure.

That is the only way I can discribe the feeling of Adeke's lips on mine. His lips...oh wow, his lips...I have had my fair share of kisses over the years but this...this was different.

My body tingled, my lips were on fire, and everywhere his skin touched mine it burned. I ran my hands up his back to run them through his thick dark hair. I pulled his head to mine trying to simply devour him. It seemed like minutes I laid there on the couch with his weight above me when in fact it had been almost an hour.

I felt Adeke pulling away from me and I groaned in response. He smirked against my lips giving me one final peck before pulling away from me.

"Adeke..." I moaned as he sat up and pulled away from me. I looked up into his lust filled eyes and my breath caught in my throat. His heated gazed bored into mine causing my heart to skip a beat and my breath to quicken. God he was so sexy... I bit my lower lip and looked up at him through my eyelashes, attempting to look sexy in return.

"Don't look at me like that." He whispered huskily.

"Like what?" I asked innocently, my voice coming out just as husky as his.

"Like I am the last slice of chocolate cake and you can't wait to eat me." he closed his eyes taking a deep breath and when he opened them again the heat in his eyes had lessened a bit.

"What if that is exactly what I want?" I asked shyly looking down at my hands, still messing with the buttons on his shirt.

Adeke inhaled sharply at my words. Heat pulsed from him again and I knew he was just as ready for more as I was.

"Anahi, I want nothing more than to pick you up off this couch and take you to your bedroom..." he paused to take another deep breath. "There is just too much we still have to talk about, love."

I looked up at him, putting on my best pout. "Adeke, I don't want to talk." I whinned.

Adeke chuckled before getting of of me and pulling me up with him. Instantly, my eyes traveled the length of his bare chest showing behind his unbuttoned shirt. Not really wanting to stop touching him I reached up and ran my hands down his hard chest. I leaned in closer and nibbled softly at his skin. I inhaled his grassy scent deeply and sighed happily, purring in the back of my throat.

I was shocked when I found myself pushed away from Adeke and held at arms length. I looked up into Adeke's green eyes feeling hurt from him pushing me away. "I'm sorry Anahi...We have got to keep the purring to a minimum or we will never leave this apartment..." he pulled me back to him and ran his hands through my hair.

Unable to help myself I began purring again. Adeke groaned aloud at the sound before he pulled my face to his. He kissed me so deeply that my legs felt weak and I thought my heart was going to jump out of my chest. I could feel myself getting lost in him again and decided to be the one to pull away this time.

"Anahi..." he whispered against my hair. "All mine."

There he went again with that damn word...my legs weakened under me and a moan escaped my lips.

Mine.

Mine.

"Say it again." I said breathlessly.

"Oh, no. I'm not starting all that over again." He chuckled. "Honestly, we have to talk."

I huffed and pouted but nodded at him.

"I think we should talk at the table...Less temptation..." he said as his green eyes traveled down my body suductively.

"Oh hell no. If we can't kiss then I have to at least be able to touch you." I questioned my own words instantly after I said them. Come on Anahi, it's just across the table, not the state.

"I know. I was afraid of that..." Adeke trailed off but nodded at me. He pulled me back to the couch and dropped down, pulling me into his lap. "Will this work?"

I nodded smiling down at him. I sat there and tried to resist touching any of his skin, knowing if that if I did it wouldn't be enough. "Okay, my prince, what do we have to talk about?"

"Us." he said simply.

"Us?" I repeated him. Honestly, I stopped listening as soon as I saw his lips moving. He had nice plump lips that just begged to be kissed. I licked my lips and wished it was his that I was licking. I wished we didn't have to talk at all really but...

"Anahi."

My eyes flew up to meet his at the sound of my name on his lips. "Hmm?"

"You weren't listening to a thing I was saying were you?" he smirked at me.

"No. I was thinking about kissing you." I answered honestly. His eyes flicked down to my lips and his smirk widened.

He kissed me quickly but throughly before talking again. "Are you ready to listen now?"

"No but I will." I chuckled. I pushed all thoughts of Adeke's lips out of my head and forced myself to pay attention.

"Anahi, we talked about you being my mate...well, there are some things that go along with that. First thing you might have picked up on was the need for me. For these first few weeks your cat will be calling to you to mate with me. She will want me around amost constantly and when I am around, as you well know, you will have a hard time keeping your hands to yourself..." Adeke looked down at my hand pointedly. Without realizing it my hands had found their way to his chest to run my hands up and down his hard muscles. Imeadiately I stopped and looked up at him blushing.

"You probably shouldn't stop. That brings me to my next thing...if you go too long without toughing me, you will go through what we call withdrawl. You will develop symptoms close to the flu...fever, chills, body aches. Our first touch started it and until we mate the need will get stronger and stronger." he whispered and looked down at my hands. They had manage to find their way to his chest again but this time I didn't pull away.

"What about you? What do you feel?" I asked nervously.

"As a high royal Gaea, what I feel is somewhat different. I feel like there is a string attached between the two of us pulling me to you. I feel the need to touch you, just as you do me, only stronger. Everything you feel Anahi, I will feel only ten times stronger. For a high royal, our mate is our life. From the moment I first touched you, you became everything to me." He answered softly.

I smiled happily at his words before asking my next question, "How long does it take for withdrawl to set in?"

"It is different with everyone but with us I would have to guess just a few hours."

"That's it?" I asked shocked.

"You have to remember Anahi, I am a high royal and you are a Princess of Cats. We are both powerful so why wouldn't our connection be the same?"

"What about last night? I had no feelings like that then."

"Like I said, it gets stronger as the days pass. Think about it, since I have been here have you truely kept your hands off of me?" Adeke smirked at me.

"Look who's talking grabbie hands." I eyed his hands as they made small circles on my back.

"I never claimed I even tried to keep them off you." He ran his hand down the length of my leg, causing tremors to run down my body.

"So what happens with us once I move?"

"I'm coming with you." He stated smiling.

"Are they okay with that?" I asked worriedly.

"Trust me, they probably aready know I'm coming. Hell, I'm there most of the time anyway..."

"What? Why?"

"Adai and I have been friends for years...he actually thought it was kind of funny that I was the one ment for you. I think his words were 'now you actually have an excuse to be here all the time'. Your brother and sisters are like family to me. It actually seems right that I am the one to bring you home to them." Adeke said. At the mention of my family butterflies danced in my stomach.

"Okay now you have me nervous again. Why did you have to bring them up?" I put a hand to my stomach.

"I could think of a few things to get your mind off of it again." He winked at me as he grinned.

"Oh really?" I asked hopefully. "What do you have in mind?"

I watched as his gaze shifted back down to my lips and instantly I wanted his lips on mine. Once again his hands wound their way into my hair and my purring started. Lust instantly filled his eyes and he began radiating his familiar heat. He growled at me and crashed his lips to mine, bruising my lips slightly. I moaned into his mouth and struggled to pull him closer to me.

"A cat." he stated pulling away from my lips. "I still can't believe I got a cat..." he sounded in awe of that.

"Why do you keep saying it like that?"

"Honey, for a Gaea, having a cat as a mate is like winning the lottery. Cats are known to be sexy, strong, sensual...great kissers." he pulled my lips back to his, kissing me a little softer this time.

I pulled away slightly as I heard the keys in the front door, telling us that Leslie and Adai had come back.

"Can I tell them to go away and come back later?" Adeke asked hopefully.

"Not this time. I'm supposed to be meeting my family today remember?" I grinned at him as the door opened.

"Anahi! You and Adeke had better be decent because if I see that man of yours naked I can't promise what will happen!" Leslie hollared loudly from the door. I heard Adai chuckle before the two of them entered the living room. Leslie eyed us on the couch and I swear her face dropped.

"Don't look so disappointed." I told Lez, laughing.

"Damn it, and here I thought I would get some kind of luck today..." Lez plopped down on the opposite end of the couch pouting.

"Luck? Are you telling me that you aren't lucky? Today you get to move in with me, what more luck do you need?" Adai asked Leslie dramatically.

I watched Leslie drool over Adai's body for a minute before she spoke again, "That isn't lucky. Lucky would be me being able to run my tongue over your naked body but I don't see that happening anytime soon, soo..."

"Wow, and I thought I was a pervert..." Adai said eyeing Leslie in an odd way.

"I am not a pervert, only truthfull." Lez winked one of her blue eyes my way before eyeing Adai's body again. "Honey, if I had my way, you wouldn't be able to walk for a week."

Adai threw a questioning glance at me and I shrugged. "Adai, Lez is telling the truth, I've seen it happen."

Adeke, Lez, and I couldn't keep from laughing at the shocked and awed look on Adai's face. I watched him eye Leslie warily as he mumbled under his breath. "A week? Hmm..."

"Maybe I found the wrong sister..." Adeke mumbled loud enough for me to hear.

I hissed at him and was about to say something before Leslie beat me to it, "Adeke, who do you think taught me everything?" She eyed me smirking.

Adeke looked up at me wide eyed and I shrugged, neither agreeing or disagreeing.

"A week?" Adai was still muttering to himself, not paying attention to our conversation.

I looked at Adeke and smiled at his lust filled eyes before I whispered in his ear. "Babe, as much as I want you, you will have a hard time walking for longer than a week."

He only response was to jump off the couch, still holding me. "Adai, lets get these girls home. Fast."

Well, I guess that is one way to get them moving...
