Chapter 5

Within an hour Leslie and Adai had managed to talk me off of Adeke's lap, make coffee, and cook breakfast. The four of us currently were sitting at our small kitchen table too busy eating to do much talking. There was still so much I wanted to ask Adai and Adeke about being Gaea. Yet, nothing seemed important enough to break the comfortable silence...

"It won't be a problem that I am coming too, will it?" Leslie asked, never one for silence. I looked up from my plate of bacon and eggs to raise a brow at my sister. She sounded very insecure. Leslie never sounded that way...she was always the stronger one.

"Of course not. You were with Anahi when we could not be, for that we will always be thankful." Adai answered smiling brightly at Lez. She blushed in response but smiled back at him.

"Are there other...um...humans there?" she asked shyly, looking down at her plate to push the food around.

"Yes, of course! Many of us have mated or married humans, so there are many of you around the area. At the house there are few...actually only two. Luckily for them they are considered family and were brought in when they were babies." Adai stopped talking and started eating again.

Okay...that's it? What a nice discription! I rolled my eyes at my own mental sarcasm...Oh, well they would probably only say something like:  You will find out soon enough. Weird cryptic Gaea...

"Um, okay..." Leslie raised her brow at me. Unknowing what to do I could only shrug at her in response.

"So when exactly do you want us to move in?" I asked changing the subject.

"Now, if you want." Adai responded.

I opened my mouth to agree when Adeke spoke up. "Actually can it wait a few hours?"

My eyes locked with his...something I had been attemping not to do from the get go, knowing I would only end up in his lap again. I watched his green eyes shift down my face, taking in my features before he spoke again. "Anahi, would you go out with me?"

"She can't. We have too much to do today." Adai answered for me. Rude much...

"I didn't ask you." Adeke growled, his eyes glaring at Adai's from across the table.

A strange purring sound instantly came from my chest at Adeke's threatening growl. I was shocked at the sound and it instantly cut off. Adeke's gaze quickly snapped back to me, another sexy smirk on his lips.

"Did you just purr at me?" he asked.

I nodded unable to respond.

"Why?"

I shook my head, too embarrassed.

"Why did you purr at me Anahi?" Adeke asked, his voice lowering. I found his voice so sexy...

I began purring again, only this time it didn't stop. Adeke eyed me lustfully before turning to Adai again. "Adai, I understand there is a lot to do to keep my mate safe. What you don't seem to understand or remember is that right now she must be with me. Listen to her, she is purring..."

"Okay, I forgot." Adai admitted cutting him off.

Honestly, I was at a loss as to what exactly they were talking about, but it seemed on the back of my mind at the moment. All I cared about right now was Adeke...and that hungry look in his eyes. My body wanted me to jump out of my chair and over to his...

"Don't come over here yet, Love." Adeke said, reading my mind for sure.

"Leslie, I think we must go." Adai rose from his seat pulling Leslie up with him, eying me warily.

"What! Where are we going?" she protested tugging her arm out of his. Her eyes remained glued to her arm, a small smile on her lips. He began pushing her out of the room, ignoring her for a moment.

"Trust me. In about two minutes you won't want to be around..." his word were cut off by the front door shutting. Adeke quickly got up and rushed to the door. I heard it lock before his footsteps returned to the kitchen. By the time he reached the doorway I was already up out of my seat.

"Wanted me all to yourself did you?" I asked smirking at him

He didn't respond, he only let his eyes trail down my body. Lust clouded his clear green eyes once again. I licked my lips before I slowly walked to him. I started purring again causing a grin to appear on Adeke's lips. As a result I stopped myself just shy of touching him and asked him again, "Do you want me all to yourself?"

I manage to keep the shock off my face at the way my voice sounded. Unlike my regular voice, this came out sounding breathless, almost sexy...

He growled at me. "Yes Anahi, I want you all to myself..."

I reached up to trail my fingers lightly down his chest...Damn him and his sexy eight pack...

"What are you going to do, now that you have me here?" I asked suductively.

"Your cat is showing more and more. Your body has been telling you that it needs me...you will be wanting to touch me." he whispered.

"I have been wanting to touch you...how is this any different." I said as I continued to do just that.

"Just wait for it...In the mean time I'm going to sit in the living room." He quickly turned and proceeded to do just that.

Unable to help myself I watched his ass as he left. I snapped out of it and hurried forward as he rounded the corner, away from my sight. I came around the corner crashing straight into Adeke. He chuckled putting his arms around me, familiar shocks passed through my body. Adeke looked down at me, the smell of fresh cut grass surounding me. I felt it stirring then...

I felt a strong need to touch Adeke, to rub myself all over him. I wanted to feel how hard his abs were under his shirt and how soft his lips were on mine. I moaned at my thoughts, my eyes fluttering closed. I heard Adeke inhale deeply and my legs offically turned to jelly.

Adeke tightened his hold on me, keeping me on my feet. His sexy voice sounded in my ears as he pulled me to the couch. "Your cat needs contact with her mate...no mating...just touching. We are not ready for mating..." He ran his nose up the side of my neck, taking in my scent. 

"No one said anything about that anyway." I growled at him. He may be my 'mate' but i wan't ready for all that with him. I'm not a virgin...but I'm not that easy!

"Good because you would have to try a lot harder to get me into bed." He said confidently from under me.

I laughed lightly, "oh really? I'm sure I could have youo begging for it within minutes."

"Oh, Love, don't get me wrong," his eyes darted down to the small amount of cleavage showing at the neck of my shirt. "I know for a fact you could have me begging for you within seconds not minutes...but I want more from you than that."

"Oh, yea? Like what?" I leaned down, closer to his lips.

"Um, I want..." he trailed eyeing my lips. "I want you to kiss me already."

"Can do." I brushed my lips against his softly, teasingly.

"Anahi..." he groaned as I pulled away.

"Are you ready to beg?" I asked shifting down to his ear. When he didn't answer I bit his earlobe lightly and asked again, "Are you ready to beg, yet?"

HIs hands ran up my sides, sending fire through my blood. I swear if he didn't start begging for that kiss soon I wasn't going to make it much longer without crashing my lips to his...

"No, not yet." He smirked. I growled at him but stayed away from his tempting lips...I sat up, straddling him and began fingering the buttons on his shirt.

"Am I not sexy enough to beg for?" I asked him pouting. I slid one button on his shirt loose.

Adeke eyed my fingers before responding, "you are sexy."

I slipped another couple buttons loose before I softly fingered his hard chest. I kept my eyes on his as they stared at my fingers. He sucked in a breath as I leaned down to lightly touch my lips to his skin. I began purring again, and within seconds I found myself on my back with Adeke's weight pressing down on me.

"Anahi...Please..." was all he choked out before his lips crashed to mine.
