A small note: I missed Adeke a little bit so I thought I put in a decent scene with him. I know everyone is asking about the prank, which was going to be in this chapter...but I just couldn't help what came out as I was typing! I still hope you like this and thank you to everyone who has voted, commented and fanned so far. You guys are all awesome! Please tell me if it's crap or not! Oh, and it's not really edited...okay I'll shut up now...

Chapter 10

Dinner, I found out was going to be a pretty casual affair held in the lounge. So until then Mom and Dad told us 'kids' to go get situated in our rooms.  Adeke, Adai, Sage, and Asha all started argueing over who was going to show Leslie and I the way. I watched amused for a couple of minutes before I put my fingers to my lips and let out a shrill whisle. The four of them instantly shut up.

Leslie looked at me giggling. "Damn, we sure are popular," she whispered to me.

"Why don't you all show us where we are going." I suggested. They all agreed and as a group we walked out of the lounge.

I looked around as we walked out the door and recognized the door we came through originally. To the right was a fancy white double door while to the left was a simple white wooden door. Adai led the group to the left and opened the simple door.

"Mom and Dad decided to add a wing to the palace when they first married. The main palace was too extravagent for their tastes so they built this...and the lounge." Sage explained from in front of me.

I finally passed through the doorway and took a look around me. We stood inside a spacious modern kitchen complete with resturant quality stainless steel appliances. Beyond the kitchen was a cozy dining room housing a beautiful stone fireplace, already burning. This place was absolutely beautiful!

We continued to walk through the house with Leslie and I gapping around us like tourists. After entering the dinning room we took a right, entering a wide hallway. Down the hallway were a series of doors that I took to be bedroom doors...

"All of our rooms are down here except Mom and Dad's, they stay down by the offices on the other side of the dining room." Adai explained. "Guest rooms are the first four here..." He guestured to either side of the hallway.

I was shocked at the space between the doors, these rooms have got to be huge! Compared to Leslie and my apartment was a freaking closet...

"Lez, this is now officially your room." Sage stopped and opened one of the doors to the left. "It used to be Adeke's room here but when he came yesterday with the news...well, Mom got the royal decorator to come transform this for you..."

"What do you mean transform?" I asked from the back of the group.

"Most Nature Gaea have the ability to 'transform' or change the appearence of nature's elements...so cottons, silks, fibers that kind of thing. So most fabrics' colors can altered..." Asha explained pushing Leslie into her room with Adai. "Sage, go with Adeke and Anahi. I don't trust them to come back out..."

I blushed furiously at that, but thankfully no one noticed. Sage pulled me down a couple doors and stood in front of it. "This has always been your room...They could never get rid of it. Now it's the both of yours...Adeke told them a little bit about you and they did the best they could on the colors."

Sage opened the door and I walked in. I stopped a foot inside the door and took in the sights around me, shocked. This room was as big as a small apartment! I looked to the corner to find a canopy bed with plush red comforter with matching sheer red canopy. The room also included a desk and shelves crammed with books. A small living area complete with a huge t.v. and cute red love seat. A huge bathroom and walk-in closet could been seen through a semi-closed door off to the back of the room. This had to be the nicest place I had ever lived in.

"This is my room?" I asked quietly to no one in particular.

"Mmm, hmm." Sage hummed. A grin broke out on my face and I tackled my younger sister in a hug. I quickly let her go before taking off and jumping on the bed, bouncing a couple times before I settled. I stared up at the canopy and sighed happily.

"I take it that you like it?" Adeke chuckled coming to lean against the post of the bed. I couldn't help but stare at his biceps as he crossed his arms across his chest. Why does he have to be so distracting?

"Oh, I definately like it." I wasn't really talking about the room any more though as I took in the rest of Adeke's relaxed stance. God, he is hot...he could just come over here and let me run my hands all over that wonderful chest of his...

"Good, because I worked really hard at it." Adeke's voice caressed my ears and sent a pleasant tingle up my spine. I looked into his eyes and smiled at his lust filled eyes...I guess got caught checking him out. I pushed up on my elbows and watched as Adeke's eyes traveled down my body slowly, taking in my every inch.

As soon as the heat radiating off his body reached me I couldn't help the purr that rumbled from my chest. Adeke's shocking green eyes shot up to mine and the purring got louder as I took in his heated and lust filled gaze.

"Nope, not happening." Sage said and began stomping over from the door. "We don't have the time right now for you two to get lost in the mating..."

Meanwhile, I was still staring at Adeke lustfully, trying to ignore Sage. For some strange reason I didn't even flinch when he turned to Sage with an angry look on his face. He stepped in front of me facing her completly, almost as if he was trying to protect me from her. A deep sound suddenly erupted from him when Sage continued to walk toward us, dispite Adeke's challenging glare. My reaction to the deep rumble that came from him was odd. It completly turned me on and I purred louder, almost matching the sound of what could only be decribed as thunder coming from him.

I just lay there, relaxing back on my elbows taking in the beautiful sight of my mate. I should have been scared, I mean even Sage looked scared as she jumped at the sound and backed up with her eyes wide. Somewhere deep inside me I felt pleased at the sound but I didn't understand why...

"Adeke!" Adai's voice yelled once the echo of the thunder had faded.

"What?" Adeke turned his glare to my brother.

"You need to calm down." Adai glared back.

Something about his glare pissed me off, but I had come to realize it was part of this whole mate thing. So instead of getting mad at Adai, I decided to calm Adeke down the only way I knew how. Quickly, I got off the bed and stepped up behind Adeke. I wrapped my arms around him, pushing myself up against him. I ran my hands across his abs and stood on my toes to whisper in his ear, "What do you say I talk to my brother to see if we can get a few minutes of alone time?"

I felt his tense muscles relax, then shudder at my breath on his ear. He turned in my arms, looking down at me. The anger faded from his eyes just before he put his face to my neck, hugging me closely. I heard him inhale deeply before whispering, "Hurry."

I was released and walked over to where Adai. I looked up to his angry face and giggled. "Why are you so mad?"

"He was threatening our sister." he replied glaring at his best friend.

"Oh, shut up Adai, he was not!" Sage yelled, slapping Adai on the arm giggling. "Even I should have known not to challenge him like that...he just shocked me was all."

"You did? What the hell Sage!" Adai's anger turned to our sister.

I must have had a confused look on my face because Sage looked at me saying, "The two of you are in the process of mating...There are going to be times where it will just hit you and you will not be able to stay away from your mate. That was one of those times. Adeke was only protecting his mate, you, from me. I threatened him by stepping closer when he first glared at me causing his power to surface."

Strong arms wrapped around me from behind, burning fire through my blood stream. Adeke spoke to Sage, "I'm sorry Sage."

"Adeke, I know you would never hurt me." Sage said laughing, planting a kiss on his cheek. She smirked at me when I hissed at her. Sage only laughed at me saying, "Sorry sis."

"Mm, I like it when you do that..." Adeke said softly into my ear. I moaned softly and leaned back against him. He nuzzled into my neck, taking in my scent. I quickly began purring again causing Adeke to pull me in closer.

"Okay, Sage, time to go. Adeke, you've got fifteen minutes. That should be enough time for you to get yourselves together and meet in the lounge for pizza. I know Anahi must have a lot of questions we haven't let her ask..." Adai began pulling a reluctant Sage behind him to the door.

"Fifteen minutes! What could be possibly do in fifteen minutes?" Adeke yelled raising his head from my neck.

"Exactly!" Adai yelled just before going out the door and shutting it behind him.

"So fifteen minutes huh?" I asked turning around in my mate's strong arms. I looked up into his green eyes through my eyelashes before asking, "What do you want to do with those fifteen minutes?"

Adeke didn't answer, he only pulled me tightly to him and crashed his lips down on mine. Cliche fireworks erupted behind my eyes along with molten lava flowing through my veins. My knees weakened beneath me and I colapsed against Adeke's strong chest...Suddenly, I understood why we could only have fifteen minutes...because as soon as Adeke's lips touched mine I knew I wouldn't be the one to stop.

In fact, twenty minutes later my mom found Adeke and I still locked together, with me pushed against the wall. Thankfully, neither one of us had made it much farther than kissing. Although, I know I was one minute away from ripping the clothes off his delicous body and having my happy way with him...

"Anahi, get your hands of Adeke's ass and come eat." Mom tried to say sternly but failed and ended up laughing from the doorway.

"Mom...do I have too?" I asked whinning. She only laughed at my joke and walked out the door.

Adeke gave me one more heated look before stepping away from me. I gasped at the cold air where he once stood hit my body and he raced back to me. Pulling me against his side, I couldn't help but run my hand down his rippled abs as we walked to the door.

"Anahi..." Adeke moaned lookind down at my hand going under his shirt in order to touch his smooth skin with my fingertips.

"Okay. Okay. I'll stop." I laughed and pulled away from him. I grabbed his hand and led him back out to meet the others for a dinner we were already late for....oops!
