Robyns POV

"Robyn."

I heard my name being called. I got up so quickly and went towards the doctor.

"How is she!?" He gave me a sad smile. And I already knew we weren't going to like the answers.

"She got a broken leg and a broken arm. She had a gash on the side of her head and we had to take the piece stuck out and stitch up. But the issue is she is in a coma. One we aren't sure yet how long she'd be in. The car accident was bad and caused her brain to swell in areas. It can last days, weeks or months."

I began to cry as Jaycob held me. My little girl.

"When can we see her?" I heard Jaycob ask.

"You can go now." As we were about to follow the doctor we heard running footsteps. When we turned to look it was Jay with Maeve and Mikeal.

"How is she?" Maeve asked with tears in her eyes. Mikeal sat down with an unexplainable expression. As if he were physically here but mentally not.

"We are going to see her now. We will speak once we get back out here." She nodded.

"Can I go?" Jay asked. But the doctor spoke up.

"Only two at a time. You can all take turns." We all nodded in understanding.

"We will." I turned to the kids. "We will be out in a bit or at least one of us so one of you can replace the other." Maeve and Jay nodded but Mikeal was still in a trance.

Walking into her hospital room, I was so nervous. Jaycob knew because he held my hand so tightly. Once I saw her laying on that bed, all bruised up and with casts on her arm and leg, I broke down again. My poor baby. Words could not express properly what I was feeling.

Why wasn't she in school? Who was the kid she was with? What led up to the accident? My mind was going wild. I was brought out of those thoughts by the doctor's voice.

"I know this is tough Robyn but she's a strong girl. She will get through this." I nodded and wiped my face. "We aren't sure when she'd wake but any changes that you notice, press on the call button and we'll be in." I nodded again.

"Thank you Doctor." I was so grateful that Jaycob spoke up. I just couldn't find the words to speak. I just wanted Ella to wake up.

The doctor left the room and I walked over to the side of Ella's bed. I sat down and held her hand. I brought it up to my lips and kissed it. I felt the tears running down my face. I was like that for a few minutes. Until I felt a hand on my shoulder.

"I'm going to let the kids take turns coming in. When they're all done I'll be back in." I nodded as he headed out of the room.
