Ellas POV

We spent hours at the mall. Mae told the girls and they joined in also trying to find the perfect dress. I went with a flowy, knee high, blush dress that had a shimmer of glitter to it. Very girly I know but it's homecoming so why not. Mae got a royal blue dress. Yeti got a sky blue dress. Then the twins chose, one a lavender dress and the other a red dress.

As we were walking out of the dress shop in the mall, I heard someone call my name. When I looked in the direction it was Adam.

"Why is he here?" I heard Mae mumble and could tell she rolled her eyes in annoyance even if I didn't see her face, I ignored what she said and just waved at him. He started walking towards us.

"Hey, what are you up to?" He had this big ol smile on his face. I just shrugged.

"Dress shopping with the girls." He nodded. It was sort of awkward and I didn't know why.

"Let me know the color so we can match." I laughed because my dress was a very girlie color for him to match with. Maybe just a flower will do to match.

"Blush color." He nodded. "But I have to go." I waved goodbye before he could say anything else. I knew Mae and the girls were waiting on me.

We had some food at the food court and then made our way out. Waiting for our ride I forgot to ask who was picking us up. But I didn't have to because once I thought to ask Miki pulled up. I internally facepalmed. We get in the car.

"Hey." Was the only thing I said the entire ride. Mae let him know I was going to their house not my own and the car ride was quite aside from the music playing. No one spoke.

Once at Maes I grabbed my dress and backpack and went in. We were in her room when she decided she wanted to run to the store to get some snacks. I didn't want to go since I was in the middle of my homework. I just wanted to finish and get it over with.

"So." I heard his voice coming from the doorway. I only looked up at him. "What's this I hear of you going to your homecoming with Adam?" I instantly rolled my eyes.

"That is none of your concern." Like why? Why get in my business when he didn't want to be with me.

"El. I don't trust him."

"No Miki, you don't know him. So you can't say that."

"El. Why can't you understand that no one likes him? He gives off bad energy that you're blindsided by. Do you like him or something? You know what, never mind. Do as you please." With that he walked away pissed.

He had no right to be upset. And that made me even more mad. Who did he think he was? He wasn't my boyfriend so he had no damn right.

"Hey I got us our favorite chips and then some oatmeal pies." She was excited. I swear food was definitely her love language. I laughed and took the bag from her.

"I can definitely go for a snack right now. But then I'll be heading home." I felt bad but my mood was way too in the gutters to be around anyone. Fuck you Miki.
