Next day

P I X E L

I walk into work with some accessories the box I held. It had little knick knacks inside as well as three picture frames. One of Tyson and I, one with Calum and I and one with just Calum.

Granted the pictures of Calum will be mostly hidden.

I walk up to the front desk and see Em at her desk. I smile and set my box on the ground.

"Morning Pixel!" Em greeted cheerfully.

"Mornin'," I greeted back. I signed in and waved to Em, walking into SkyMedia.

I start walking to my office. I have my own office because of my concentration issues. The guys run around a lot and that pulls my full attention towards them (what Calum keeps doing making me baby proof more things so he doesn't get hurt) and its hard to focus afterwards. Adam is trying to find the most calm editor to share an office with me but, lets be real here, no one here is really... calm.

No one is really here yet, just Jordan, Em and Ethan.

I open the door to my office with the box in my arms. I walk over to my desk and sit in my swivel chair.

(Pixel's office format^ I know I suck at drawing but I tried)

I set my box next to my chair and my backpack under my desk. I open the box and start customizing my office.

I did not look forward to going to work (I accidentally wrote 'school' instead of 'work' XD) today because I am having a slap off with Adam. I was excited but scared at the same time...

I haven't been to work lately and I just got over a cold but I should be fine now.

"Max hurry up! We are going to be late!" I heard Ross yell from the front door of the apartment.

"Calm down I'm coming!" I yelled back clipping on my Z necklace and jogging to the front door. I checked to make sure I had my wallet and keys on my before fixing my beanie and exiting the apartment.

I got in shotgun with Tim driving and Ross in the backseat.

"Tim I just realized something," Ross said from the back seat.

"What is it?" Tim asked glancing in the rear view mirror at Ross.

"Max doesn't know Pixel," Ross said.

"Pixel? Like the movie? I want to see that soon. Did you guys watch it without me or something?" I asked turning to look at Ross. Ross and Tim laughed and I became confused.

Probably thinking about a funny part from the movie.

"No Max, not Pixels. Pixel, she's the newest member of the offices," Tim stated shaking his head.

"I'm gone for five days and now there's a new person to bug me," I said with a sigh, closing and rubbing my eyes.

"Actually no. I really don't think Pixel would do that to you honestly. She's really laid back and quiet," Ross said.

"I don't notice she's there sometimes. She can be a ninja if she wanted to," Tim said with a chuckle at the end.

I shook my head and looked out the wind shield only to see us pulling into the offices. The parking lot is almost full so we are probably the last people here.

Tim parks the car and we all step out. I jog ahead of Ross and Tim, up the office stairs and to Em's desk to check in.

"Morning Em," I greeted quickly signing in.

"Morning Max! Good to have you back," Em greeted back with a smile.

I walked past her desk and into the offices.

"Hey Max!" I heard Adam down the hall I waved as he jogged over. "How you doing man?"

"I'm doing better I-" I was cut off by Adam grabbing my beanie and running down the hall.

"Welcome back Max!" I heard Ross call from down the hall.

"Get your ass back here Adam!" I yelled chasing after him.

"No no no no! Can't touch this." Adam screamed like a girl as we passed the edit spot where some editing desks were. Adam threw my beanie at my chair and continued running.

I snatched my beanie off my chair, with a faint smile on my face, and turned on my computer.

Talk about a warm welcome...

I finished my fourth video and it was almost lunch. I took off my headphones only to hear chanting and shouting.

I set my headphones on my desk before standing up and exiting my office. I jogged over to the source of the chanting to see a redheaded man standing in front of Adam. Adam had his hands behind his back and was squealing like a girl with everyone cheering.

What's going on?

I walk closer only to back up in surprise.

Is he a stalker or something now?

It was Ross' friend from McDonald's! The one that stole my wallet. I could already feel my blood start to boil already just from looking at him.

Next thing I know he slapped Adam across the face. I felt something inside me snap.

Before anyone else knew what was happening I ran up to him and flipped the ginger man over my shoulder and onto his stomach, grabbed his arm pulling it back and placing a firm foot on his back.

"Are you some kind of stalker now!" I yelled at him. He groaned in pain but stayed still. Everyone in the room went quiet. "Answer me!" I yelled. The room stayed quiet again, probably shocked I just did that.

All the training for that black belt in karate finally paid off.

Suddenly Adam burst out laughing. I loosened my grip on the ginger man and turned towards Adam.

"What's so funny?" I asked completely confused.

"Can someone please get this crazy woman off me! Shes dislocating my shoulder!" The ginger man yelled, pain evident in his voice.

"Pixel get off Max," Adam wheezed still laughing. I let go of his arm and took my foot off his back. "Max Pixel, Pixel Max. It's funny because you guys don't know each other!"

"I know this guy well enough to know he has no respect for women!" I yelled crossing my arms over my chest.
